Kinda embarassing but I still can't find the key to the shed in the first village, I've talked to the swimmer but can't find it at the lake

Are you checking the right bush? its the round green one, not the naked tree.
Took me way to long to realise that myself :P

I found it. Finished the goblin quest thanks to you. Now it seems like I am stuck again. Can't seem to find a way out of the town.
When exactly does this game end in the new version?

@sample4539:
Not currently but I have plans to add that in the next update.
@Xio:
Thank you! It's true this is a fresh start from my first version but I plan on taking this all the way and making my ideal project by the end.
@senzawa:
I currently don't have any plans on that at the moment. Adding character options at this point would involve going back over all the dialogue involving the player in the game, and it'd be too difficult to support for the whole game.

I figured I should stop being a lurker and add my appreciation to the pile because I am really loving this new version. Well done Bagool!
Also, I saw on the patreon that there is some side content in the inn but I don’t think I found it. Does anyone know how to access it?

Finally managed to try out the new version. And I have to admit this left a rather conflicting feeling. I’ll probably be here the only one who didn’t catch the wave of euphoria, but still leave my pair cents.
Judging by what I saw playing updated first part, this is a start of completely different game. And it was the main difficulty of the passage for me. Namely, expectation and craving for events that used to be, but no longer exist. I understand that it was meant as a new story, and I don't want to say that this version is worse or better than the previous one. But I definitely want to say that the original story and plot were good enough for deserve to be completed. It has been several years since our courier had to leave the Iron City. What awaited our hero on the further original journey? what happened to the characters we had time to love? We never know.
Of course, each author has its own vision of the direction in which the plot should develop. But still, I don't find it's a good idea to overwrite an already half-done story (really good story).. This's not quite good both in terms of the overall narrative inside game universe (that becomes separated), and wasted resources. There's a risk of falling into an endless cycle of improvement, and eventually not reaching the end. Perhaps, better way could be the same as for the first game in serie. Where is the original completed SQ and its expanded everlasting ongoing DX version.
As for the new graphics - its presence is always a positive moment, making the game brighter and more intense. The only thing I noticed is that the combination of picture+sound+black screen works for me some better than just a static picture+sound. I can't say for the sure why it's so.. I've tried many ways of spanking screens.. Maybe black screen gives more space for your imagination? In any case, this is just a matter of taste. Moreover, seems many players don't like the black screens, so the departure from it is generally understandable. And yes, talking about art.. in my competition for the best panties - the witch's one totally win!
Well, It wasn't a post of sadness or disappointment as it might seem. Rather, it's a little painful changing of some old expectations to the some new. And I think the best way out for another dipping into the game will be awaiting for its full completion. To play the new story from the very start to the finish without painful flashbacks and echoes of past story.
So, good luck on your new journey!

Yes, I mostly agree. What I really liked about the old game (in all its various forms ) was the promised interactions and ability to get to know a character (and to an extent get them to know you). I'm glad he's kept at least some of the old characters (esp the Innkeeper who was my favorite ) but our interactions of any type with them will almost assuredly be less. I do hope Bagool keeps most of the old content in Iron City (at least as relates to the daycare). I was hoping to be able to complete Ruby's quest at some point and I don't really see why stuff he never did in the first place has to be replaced in this iteration.
That being said, I' m giving it a chance. The Goblins were enjoyable after all. I liked the AI idea, but never got attached to it , so that can go with no problem for me. I just like the old characters and hope they all don't have to be rewritten and defenestrated. I also liked some of the ability to get spankings at will.
