I can't seem to catch Hotfoot but I think it might have glitched? Is he meant to run to outside the town wall?

Loving LOVING this so far. I can only ask and hope for two things, really.

I'd like one more scene with the lady at the first INN (Tipsy Pixie, LOVE that name) before the game ends. For whatever reason, she is my favorite in this game (because she's mean and enthusiastic but slightly caring all at once) and she does threaten that if you don't come back for another 'soon' she might have to go much longer on you.

That's a please please please. I figure she has one more scene (even if optional) in her. I mean, shit, if I could grab her out of the game and marry her... lol

Anyway, then there is Jumama and her mom. I'm like (apparently many others also) hoping for a more severe scene added in later (perhaps she gets to know you better or gets pissed/worried about you for some reason) and her hot mom ...well, when she asks 'Is there anything you need' ... I rather wish there was a way to answer. Nothing elaborate necessarily (but shit imagine the possibilities if you were dating her daughter or sneaking out together for another expidition)


Anyway, I know that for whatever reason neither of my wishes might happen. Designing a game like this obviously takes lots of time and you have at least a few more whole areas to fill in, so if you are nice and grant one or both then I hardly expect it right away.
Anyway, Bagool, take your time, enjoy your holidays and thank you for the two best spanking games I have ever played. Next year I hope to be able to help you more directly. But right now I mostly lurk, download and play

That's what h appened with me as well.
But there's probably a sneaky way to do it.
I'd look for an unusual item in a store (when I try to catch him again) or try to run and grab him before he knows what hit him. At least that's what I'm thinking right now.

And I think Mysterious Eye Patch Lady might be important later in the story, but right now she keeps you out of uncompleted areas of the game. She does look like she and Hotfoot probably know each other...

I think what's happening with hotfoot is that when you talk to him by the hairbrush dad's house, it changes his behavior to run in a circle in the middle of the area, however if you go inside, his position remains by the house instead of in the circle, but his running behavior remains, so he runs down to the bottom of the screen, where he gets stuck. If you're quick enough you can still get him like that (stand in his path and spam the interact button), but it's best not to go inside before you catch him.

i was wondering if the portrait change of the main characters in Tungsten town is intentional (the one you get at the rubble) or is it a bug.

That's a tricky problem to solve with the thief running outside of the pattern. I'll try and address it tomorrow.

@killswitch: Your analysis really saved some time on that issue, thanks.
@frost: Okay, since you aren't the only one. There is a chance of getting a hint after talking to the person who blocks the east gate to town after clearing the quest in Alumin. 1/10 chance to give you directions to find out more. That's all I'll spill though.
@Alexander: Thanks for pointing that out. It was a left over from the demo of the game, and i just pushed it to the side since no one could reach it. While moving around the trees I must've moved it back. Yep, the foreman and his kids will both be key players in the next city.

@remo: I'm glad you're liking those two characters especially. As much as you may want it, I try and make it a point to not congest an event to heavily with scenes or variation, otherwise I'd run out of ideas for later on. I still have 6 more settlements to make, and that doesn't even count side zones. Loving the game! Just replayed it a fifth time, definitely liking the updates.

I felt I should mention: during the scene with Jumanah's mother, at one point my character's textbox icon changed from female to male.
