Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:

Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

@Deardeardear have you tried the solution I provided, I mean open the "index.html" file in the "www" folder with firefox?

@bagool you should also point out that the "browser start" works in firefox but not in chrome (just tested).
It's not your fault, just problems with that browser and RPG Maker, I think it's the same for any RPG Maker game.
Explorer/Edge/Safari/Opera etc are not tested though, anyone is free to try them and report.

With that demo you have hyped many of us, take your time to do the game we're all waiting.

I just got caught up with the base game and I found 2 glitches to report. 1. When taking Tin Path to Pluto's farm if you travel along the path or directly above it along the road the game works fine but if your 1 square below the main road when you traverse screens you come out into a tree and cannot move effectively soft locking the game. 2. In one of my Iron City run throughs I had Miss Mey give me a spanking reduction as soon as possible to avoid people finding out about my punishment. However after meeting the Demon Noble and getting caught for entering the mines when I was brought back to the daycare Miss May said "THIS MESSAGE SHOULDN'T APPEAR" and my crime level remained the same. Asking Mey to level check will elicit "You shouldn't see this message." as a response. As a side note I hurt myself recently and I wanted to thank you for this game as its made the recovery process a lot better for me. I look forward to trying the demo later today.

Bagool, my suggestion is to make scolding cap out in intervals. Either setting it to even levels (25 at a time for instance) based on how sore the person is, or base it on their personality (strong people only breaking every 33 while wusses weaken every 10 pain or similar)

Yep, with Firefox index.html actually worked and game started as a charm. Thanks to deadidiot42, never would have thought about that myself.
Also, congrats to Bagool, another great update to his even-greater-than-great game.

@Nadja: I'll probably just make it so that scolding only affects stats the first 3 times you do it, every time past that won't change anything.

So first, I want to say that I find the more interactive spankings much more interesting (and fun!) than your older versions.

That being said, I wasn't a big fan of the picture, mostly because I don't know that it contributed all that much and I personally found it harder to toss in my own vision of what's going on (and the bodyshape of my/their character) with that image there. If that's just a placeholder for the sake of the demo and you have plans for more varied pictures, then it's probably fine. However, if that's what you have in mind for the long-term, then I would ask for an option to turn the image off.

Obviously, keeping it in is by no means a dealbreaker, and I very much enjoyed the new spanking system, and I hope you keep it up. The way your character compliments the innkeeper made me chuckle. I could totally see my character saying that just to be funny (even if they aren't all that interested in the innkeeper) and then feeling a bit embarrassed when the innkeeper expressed her displeasure.

I'd like to throw my two sense in if I may, just to give an idea to you since you're re-going through the whole game again and all. What do you think about making it possible to go through the whole game without getting spanked once. Like the whole retro aspect of going through like super Metroid or legend of Zelda without getting hit even once. Its just a thought.

I really like the new improvements, Bagool.

The Item system seems to have a nice layout, and I like the subsystem used for the guidebook. The new Rub skill is great. The Status screen is very nice as well. Overall, the new menu is very user-friendly and easy to navigate.

The spanking interface is pretty solid as well, though the character text and UI overlap is a little annoying. The image isn't bad for being a visual indicator of things, though it would be nice to have the mannequins be gender appropriate. I'll be curious to see how the stats play out further into the game, and I like the talk choices and their effects. Same goes for the response choices and their dom/sub effects. I also like that you can see your arm getting tired...from the endless spankings administered, of course.

Familiarity looks like that'll have a pretty large impact on the characters and game experience as well, and I'm glad to see this feature brought over from Red Tint Town. I like that it opens up additional dialog, as well as the possibility of new encounters. Also..."Not in the Demo yet." Daawww!! LOL I look forward to finally giving that innkeeper what she deserves, always standing on the other side of that counter, taunting me with her blonde locks. It looks like there is an issue with her spanking you once your are able to choose between fun/punishment spankings after you have knocked over her perfume. She goes on about an invitation and you being nervous, then walks out of the room. You stated above that you've only gone so far for the demo and had to shuffle variables around, so no biggie.

The gold counter in the top right is nice but, at least for me, doesn't really add much. At least, not yet. Its possible it becomes handy as I'm going through the game, especially with gifts now being a thing.

My only minor complaint would be the text sound. While I see what you're aiming for, similar to the older JRPGs, maybe drop the volume on it a bit?

I'd say this is a great step forward. Fantastic work, Bagool.

@aka: The image shown isn't supposed to be an exact match of the event you're experiencing. Otherwise each of them would be otk. It's supposed to be more of a blueprint or radar giving a general
indication of where each person is in the scenario, and is more of a guide for where the other icons can match up to than a visual representation of what is going on. They could be replaced with stick figures and still represent the same thing. Originally I had the idea of making the figures blue like the background to show that, but I gave up on the idea.
@johny: I do plan on doing that. I understood how frustrating it could be for the more top centric or well behaved players to still get spanked despite many things.
@Psyclone: The gold counter will hopefully be more useful when I finish more of the game. I plan on having money be more of a focal point from now on.
I'll drop the volume of the click sound a few points, and hopefully add an off switch.
