Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

I spun up a Windows XP Pro image in a VMware workstation and was able to play and move without issue. Can you provide more detailed specs on your system?
Were you able to enter the pre-game settings: like DX, ABDL, Quest log, Etc.?

When playing the Young at Heart quest, is there a way to get to the other end of the cave that the rock is blocking?

No, sorry. That blocked path may eventually lead to the Neko village though.
That cave is currently one of the few "missable" things in the game (i.e. if you don't go in during the 'Young At Heart' quest, you can never go in again. What is in there is just worth money, though, so no big deal if missed.

Yes. I was able to enter all the settings just fine. Here's my system specs..
CPU Phenom II X4 p65, 3.42 GHz
3GB RAM
Nvidia Geforce GT 740, 1GB Vram
I thank all of you for assisting me.
I just looked at the Game.ini. It references scripts (Scripts=Data\Scripts.rvdata2) I have no Data folder with my install. Is that the issue maybe?

Well, it could be some weird interaction with your virus protection: like maybe some of the runtimes aren't being allowed to run. Or you might want to get the VERY LATEST video drivers for your card (Gt740 is rather old but I think they released drivers for it up until the last year or two). Lastly, if you don't want to upgrade your OS (which can be a big pain) trying going to windows Event log and seeing if you can find clues there. Probably under application section.

Thank you for the system specs. A Bit of an odd question, do the other buttons like F1, F12, escape work for you? Do you know how taxed your system is at the time you are running the game? Your system specs should be able to handle the game without issue.

Me? I'm spoiled. I brought my first new computer in like 10 years (not counting one cheap laptop last year): AMD Ryzen 7 and a GT 1070. Plus Windows 10 pro came pre-installed so I didn't have any issues setting it up. Still have all my old files and a very old (12) years laptop that runs XP and my i7 system (960 so rather old ) runs Windows 7.

FYI: absolutely knackered here, having spent all day editing tiles and sprites for some ships (pixel art can be a real eye strain!). But finally, the ability to sail beyond Coral Coast may soon be possible...

Angie hangs out in the basement of Frostpoint Academy. Meet her at your own risk... she's not a "nice" girl!
(you will be able to continue your "relationship" with her in a future update... for better or worse, depending how you interact with her).
