Right next to the inn (i think) there is a shady guy in black robes. Talk to him. He'll ask you to steal a book from Sophie (your librarian friend). Get the book and give it to him for money. Then report it to Captain Shilva

I've tried that, but she catches me everytime. Also causes my game to glitch, so I might have to restart.

Find the tomb in the graveyard, then go back to her. She will give you an item to take to the tomb. Do that, then ask about the book.

There are three possible outcomes when you attempt to steal the book and all three result in you getting caught. The first is trying to steal the book without the Skill Sleight of Hand. The second is stealing the book with the Skill Sleight of Hand, but afterwards take the book to Sofie. The third is stealing the book with the Skill Sleight of Hand and trying to leave the library. As for learning the Skill you can buy the book to learn it from Sophie herself.

I know one of the options resulted in glitch, but I thought Banjo fixed it (Or was the fix going to be in the next update). I know the third option works fine because that is the one I always used (It results in the hardest punishment though).

IIRC it was the third way that was glitched because that way was the one where she'd start to spank you then make you get her ruler to finish the spanking before marching you over to the counter and make you stand there with her 'No Stealing' sign on your back while displaying your freshly beaten bottom to anyone that would come in for a bit. The glitch was that it would freeze just after the last person that would come in during that time left the building.

Anyway I'm fairly certain Banjo dealt with that glitch because as you pointed out that is the choice you normally take. It's also the same one I normally take, and I think it's the one most people take because I'm fairly certain if you go back through the thread to find it you'd also find a lot of people talking about it before the update that fixed it.

Yup, that path should be fixed. The path that *is* still glitched (but is fixed for the next update) is if you steal the book successfully but then take it to Sophie anyway. Failing and trying to sneak it out should both hopefully still work (the latter almost certainly should, anyway).

I always wondered why you'd show it to Sophie if you stole it successfully, hence probably why I never spotted that bug until it was pointed out, however in the next update there will be a reason to do this path:

I've had real life stuff take priority sadly, but the good news is that the Codex (see earlier posts if you don't know what that is) is now complete for Red Valley, Oak Outpost, Revival Basin, Coral Coast, Scorch Desert and Howling Mountains. Birch Manor will be next, then probably I'll release with the Codex disabled before finishing Frostpoint and related locations, as that's the most work. Next update will have the improved "Investigate Oak Outpost" quest tweaks, and will include a few brand new spanking scenes including

Really looking forward to it and I completely understand about real life having to be a priority. The woes of being an adult unfortunately. Also Frostpoint seems like it will be a pain in the rear (And not the good kind) to do for the Codex because it has I believe an equal number of spanking scenes and characters in comparison to all other locations combined. Just take your time and try not to stress out too much. I believe most people can wait for the updates.

I'm looking forward to it Banjo. You have done a lot of fantastic work with the game since you started modding it.

Side note I was replaying everything yesterday with my wifey by my side and she was wondering if we could eventually get more scenes with Tawni besides the one when rejuved and the one with the more females mod after bullying Wendy. She was telling me how interesting it would be if something could happen and Tawni could figure out that you were the small brat that was rude, and scold you a bit more before declaring you her 'newly adopted child' and give you another spanking. Though she also said it'd be cool if it was possible to repeat the spanking for being mean to Wendy.

I think she just likes the idea of a mother/ mother figure spanking a bratty person no matter their age...
