So, in Frostpoint, Rocio's sister (the blacksmith), if you ask her to spank you and it's the part where she's like "Yeah I can try to steel myself.." instead of the one after you've gotten the brooch, she goes down and locks the door, then she goes and sits down.. then it just loops. I looked in the files and it's labelled correctly and everything, I don't know how you would fix it. Maybe it's because of the Self-Switch A and the rosevyou switch messing up, but I don't see why!
It's not a huge bug anyways, but it's the only one I've found that hasn't been mentioned!
Oh, and I didn't try to ask AFTER getting the rose brooch, so that might also be broken?

I've also got a question! You can throw rocks at the rude guard in frostpoint, and in the README it says you can confess this, but where exactly can you confess it?

Also, how do you get into the vampire's secret downstairs? (not the crypt, the other location)

A. You confess to the Lady Guard Captain in the Castle Courtyard. NOT at the Castle Gate - the black haired one in the Castle Courtyard. She's the one that punishes you for your sins in Frostpoint, EXCEPT if you get taken to the dungeon where Ms "Payne" (wonder if this is a shout out to Kelly Payne) gets you...
B. One of the rooms downstairs has something you pull , so examine things! (hint) Also you have to have the chess game skill so you need a chess book which you can get in Oak City (or whatever its called, I always forget for some reason) by going to the right house right next to Kelly's sister and stealing it. So two rooms downstairs have secret doors that lead to crypts . Hope that helps.

Yes, as a switch (though I lean bottom) I hope for that too.
She certainly deserves it, and I hate people who play with peoples lives or butts (oh, it's an EASY quest, when she has no reason to believe it really is easy ) or who abuse their power be they a member of the fairer sex ('fairer' in looks, not necessarily behavior, I think it was females who invented the first "Calvinball") or not. Remember the mirror quest where you have pick a Kings Throne? Well that applies to Dommes/Mistresses as well or Guild Leaders. With power comes responsibility and the ability to see things from your subordinates point of view and understand their needs or concerns.

And here I am, taking this game too seriously. LOL

You don't really need the key (though if I recall it drops from the maid in the library). If you find the SHEET MUSIC after causing books to fall in the library you can play the piano and after the music ends...well, I'm sure you can figure it out from there.

As for the Thief quest (Panties, I presume?) you need the lockpick from the outhouse over near where you entered and exited the hole in the ground. You also need a book on lockpicking. To get that, the easiest way is to do a few chores for the mailman in Frostpoint and STEAL Sophies package which contains the book. Then it's just a matter of finding which house in Oak Outpost has Veena's panties as they are kept locked up in a box. Then you can choose to take the blame, blame hubby, or blame the real thief and take credit as the good guy. Personally, "Momma Veena" makes me shiver in a very good way.

I've downloaded 1.5.2 (and 1.5.1. - just in case I was having a problem with the new version). Download, extract, install. In both cases I get an instant crash with the message "RGSS3 Player has stopped working" when I start the "game" program. Running Windows 10. All my other RPG maker games have never had this problem, so I'm just wondering if there is anything else I need to install or I am I just dang unlucky?

Also I'm not installing to Program Files. One version is my Downloads folder, the other on a completely different hard drive.

That wasn't planned, but it could be *possible* in future. In fact, I was actually thinking just yesterday about someday (not until all bugs are fixed at least) letting you choose to start as a *different* character than the default one. This could mean a different race.

I have to be honest, your idea kinda made me want to put a "Nekko" waitress somewhere who's tail *you* (or some other brat) keeps pulling to annoy her...

Glad to see it was apparently worth the work of putting the new races in the game "properly" (i.e. making them distinct races in the world). Goblins are the other race I've got planned but not added yet. As for Nekkos, I've already mapped a village for them, but it's not accessible yet (it's part of a future DLC: "I Can Has Catgirls?").

Another thought: what if your character got *turned into* another race temporarily?

I use Windows 7 x64, so this may be a Windows 10 issue (I don't have a machine with that I can test it on). I will Google a bit to see if this is a "known issue" with RPG Maker VX (the engine the game is made on) and let you know if I find anything. Sorry I can't help more! In the meantime, does Win10 have a "virtual machine" capability (like Win7's "XP Mode") you could try?

Obviously, as a sub, I'd rather be spanked *by* the guild leader (and that was always something I wanted to add down the road) but I find this conversation interesting and such feedback very helpful.

I really liked the design of the Guild Mistress (I plan to make a better male version of the character's sprite/portrait too), and wanted to do more with her/him. This was going to be more quests, but I am interested in this talk about wanting to punish them for sending you on a dangerous, time-wasting quest. The whole idea was intended as a bit of a comment on RPG "initiation" style bullshit quests, and I even had another one in mind too, but it's fun to think players actually think they should perhaps finally get some payback on lazy RPG quest-givers!

Consider at least something like this "on the list" for a future addition when I expand the guild (right now, my first priority for it is considering how to make it less "miss-able" as I did with the Academy, given the guild and mansion can now be totally missed/skipped when playing the main quest... maybe make joining the guild somehow required to finish the main quest?)

The servant with they key is

 

actually random. Unless there's a bug, you have a chance of finding the key each time a servant spanks you (from memory, the library one, the bath one, the nursery one - requires ABDL - and the kitchen one). After three spankings, you should get the key if you haven't already.

But yes, you can skip all that with

 

Moonlight Sonata (this actually will change in a future update, so enjoy it while you can!).

Payne's name was actually a reference to Ser Illyn Payne (executioner and second-most badass name in all of "Game of Thrones") but as a fan of Kelly, I like to think she'd make a terrifying "royal executrix" in Payne's SpanQuestDX role too. I'm pretty sure Payne's punishments are the most severe in the game, even compared to

 

the demon: Bakulyn the Castigator!

I was actually considering changing it so the guard at the GATE is the one you need to report crimes to instead of the captain of the guards. Not sure, but what do people think?

Did this happen when you used the bucket from the left side? I tested it and that glitched things, but the whole event worked fine when I used the bucked from above. I will fix this in the next update.

Again, I like this discussion a lot... love to think people are thinking about the game and events as much as I did (my main reason for making this expanded version was that I loved the world/characters!).

I have thought seriously about making those scores/stats *mean* something. I added them as a way to keep track of how you were playing, but originally (not implemented), they were designed as a way to decide what ending you got (rather than giving you a choice); higher Sub or Dom means the "sub" or "dom" ending. I wasn't sure if this would annoy folks, though, so I made it all choices in the end and decided that when I made my own game from scratch, I'd use "events change based on Sub/Dom/Brat" scores in that instead.

That said, I still like the idea of Sub/Dom/Brat actually influencing how others react to you (or even re-implementing the ending idea), and am interested in others' thoughts too.

It used to be Gusty Gulch from Paper Mario (a game I've never played!) but not that's just the interiors. The main Coral Coast theme in SQDX is now "Dazil, City of Burning Sands" from Xenogears.

Just FYI, don't count on that lockpick always being there... it will likely be removed once a new location that sells them opens up, making the task a little trickier (note that currently, you can also get a lockpick

 

from where you find Bianca after she jumps out a window, regardless of how you "help" her)

Hey, you could always be a good boy/girl and give Sophie her package then buy the book off her legitimately! Just saying! Sure, stealing packages has no consequences (besides sins and Brat points)... at the moment, but in future updates...?

Love how this is growing up and out! Wondering why the readme says you MUST get the ethereal book thingy to finish main quest as I did it? Hoping there is an unfinished vermilion reformatory tie in or something here that will make a future update (especially as an uniformed schoolgirl quest was mentioned?) And something tells me the AWESOME Harpy Mommies are kinda related to the crazy triple teaming girls at the festival? Hoping to see more of the HM in the future... And would love to get taught some more lessons by Tawni and Mommy Veena!

Oh yes additional content for Veena and Tawni would definatly be great !

 

Just a small bug report and the only one i was able to find in my last run: If you go for the Sub route during the ending you don't get the last RoS fragment. You get the message but it dosn't show up in your inventory. If you go for the dominant approach everything works as normal.
