Spawn of The Devil (For CleverFox)
Crowley walked around the small cellar he had been calling his home for the time being. Many thought he was dead and though it frustrated him, it was better than trying to be killed every second by the Winchesters, now that would be annoying. He grabbed one of his chairs and set back to think a bit when he heard the annoying sound that seemed to haunt him everyday. "DAAAAAAAD~!" Crowley sighed as he looked over at the ten year old boy that he called his son. "Yes Darren....what is it...?" He had an obviously annoyed tone which caused the boy to frown. "I'm bored being in this cramped up cellar, I wanna go outside."
"Well, its not like I can take you anywhere, now can I? If I had a choice you would be outside...playing in traffic, sticking forks in electrical sockets and other things children like." Darren rolled his eyes and shook his head, being use to the man's sarcasm....or what he thought and hoped was sarcasm. "Well...can't you do something, get your angel slave to do something." Crowley sighed then blinked. Why didn't he get Castiel to take the boy, get him out of his hair for a while. "You know what, you little bugger. I will." He smirked and began to sarcastically pray to Castiel, knowing he would come soon."

Castiel had better things to do than to be dealing with that damnable demon that he was using to further his own agenda but he knew that if Crowley was calling out to him then there had to be a reason for that. And as much as he didn't really want to know what that reason was the angel didn't think that he had a choice in the matter. As unfortunate as it was he still needed Crowley and so he could not tell the demon where he could go and what he could do to himself once he arrived there.
Not that this was very angelic behavior in the first place but angels were hardly the creatures that they were portrayed as in legend.
Appearing in the cellar his blue eyes focused on Crowley, not a hint of the impatience that he was feeling showing in his blue eyes. "You required my presence?" he asked, or rather stated the obvious, in his deep and as always stoic voice.

"Ah Castiel, lively as always." He said with a soft smirk on his face. "I need you to watch over my boy, Darren for a couple of days." He said, motioning towards the boy who looked over and waved some. "Y'see, he's been a bit antsy being here and he wants to go out for a while and since I cannot do it, I'm sure you can."
Darren eyed Castiel and frowned a bit. He had seen Castiel from time to time and he seemed so boring, like a walking computer than an angel. Crowley walked over to Darren and began to push him along to Cas. "Have fun. Take him out, let him roam, whatever you wish as long as he's not here." Darren looked up at his dad. "Love you too pops. I suppose we can do something fun." He said as crossed his arms loosely on his chest and gave the angel a small smirk. "Shall we get goin?"

Of all the things that Crowley could have wanted with him the reason for his summons was not anything that Castiel had been expecting. As such he actually for the briefest of moments gaped at Crowley when the demon told him what it was that he wanted, the angel looking at the child and he was sort of shocked that Crowley had a son. Well aside from the one that he'd had when he was still human, the one that he'd hated and that had mutually hated him, but that was a different matter entirely.
"Do you seriously expect for me to babysit for you Crowley?" Castiel asked the demon as he gazed at him rather than looking at the boy that was speaking to him. "I really do not have time for this." He had other things that he needed to be doing and he was fairly certain that Crowley's kid would put a damper on that to say the very least.

Crowley frowned and looked over that dark haired boy. He certainly had NO intention of having a child again, but somehow got stuck with the little one. He sometimes sat there and wondered about how he had not just killed the child and went off with his day.....maybe he actually liked the child, but who knows. He frowned a bit and rolled his eyes. "Oh come on Castiel! You barely have to watch the child , just let him go and watch over him from time to time. You'll barely know he's there, it's not as if I could take him out anywhere..."
Darren stood there with his arms crossed, watching the the angel and his father speak as if he wasn't there at all. Darren had learned quickly that his father was an assbutt, but only thought how most parents were, not like he had anyone else. He quickly went to sit down and began to wonder if he would be stuck here with his dad for longer. "Y'know...you don't even have to watch me, I'll just roam a bit and when I want to go home, just take me home."

Castiel was really, really wishing that demons were incapable of reproducing at this point because if that were the case then he would not have gotten stuck in such a situation. He gazed at Crowley as the king of Hell once again insisted basically that he take the child and told him that he wasn't any trouble and didn't even need to be watched over.
Which was something that Castiel really didn't buy even with his limited knowledge of children.
"He is a child and a demon," Castiel said as he gazed at Crowley with an intense look in his blue eyes. "Do you really believe that I am going to believe that he is not going to cause trouble if not properly supervised? I realize that you are under the impression that angels are incompetent but that is not the case." He looked back at the child and then sighed to himself. He really didn't need to just leave him in this place. "Very well, I shall watch the child but this is a temporary arrangement," he said finally, motioning for the boy. "Come."

Crowley frowned a bit at the angel, shaking his head some as he went on about his youngest boy causing trouble. For all he knew, he probably did, but never really did much to pay attention. However, his frown quickly turned back into a smirk as Castiel finally agreed to take the boy. "Perfect, I need a bit of time to myself, anyhow. Have fun with him Cas." He turned around and waved a hand them off.
Darren smiled a bit and ran over to Castiel. He stood by his side and smiled softly. "So Cas is your name, huh? I'm Darren, I'm 10 years old, so that means I want to 10 year old things not little baby things, got it?" He asked as he looked up at the blue eyed angel with his own brown ones. "So if you're an angel does that mean you fly everywhere and talk about God being the almighty whatever because if so...you might as well take me out and let me roam."

Castiel spared Crowley a passing glance when the demon spoke to him and then waved a hand though his gaze pretty quickly turned to the boy that he had been stuck with somehow, he still wasn't entirely sure what had possessed him to agree to this. "My name is Castiel," he said when the boy, who introduced himself as Darren, asked about his name. The angel listened as the boy sort of rambled a little bit and he shook his head and said, "No I do not strictly converse about such things and I am not going to allow you to simply roam around and be left to your own devices. That is not how it works with children."
And he didn't trust the demon child nearly enough to do something like that. He was however smart enough not to come right out and say that part since he wasn't actually out to anger the kid or cause him to have a tantrum or something.

Darren looked up at Castiel with a confused look. "Since when do people watch kids. Anytime I see people with their kids, they're either on their phones, watching TV or playing in some places where parents down have to watch them." He shrugged and put his hands in his pockets. "Well I'm sure you can tag along and we can do something. So where are we going first?"
True, the boy was a demon or at least, half demons and because of that he was usually seen as someone who could do wrong, but usually that wasn't the case....usually. If he didn't get his way however, he had learned to be annoying as possible until someone finally caved in and got you what you wanted.

"Clearly you haven't seen someone that actually cares for their child, it is not acceptable to simply drop a child off and leave it to its own devices," the angel said, Castiel more knowing how things should be rather than how they were. Of course even if it was common place to just abandon kids to do as they pleased there was really no way that he was going to do that with this particular boy considering his parentage and the potential risks that posed. It would be irresponsible and downright stupid to do something like that and while Castiel didn't always make sound judgment calls he wasn't exactly what anyone could call stupid.
"We will go and visit some friends of mine, they may know a way to keep you entertained," Castiel finally decided, making a 'come on' gesture with his hand. "Come."
