Darren shrugged. He supposed the angel wouldn't let him out of his sight, considering he was a demon and demons and angels didn't necessarily get along to well. He walked over to Castiel and gave him a small smile. "Friends huh? I bet they're cooler than you." He said with a soft chuckle and nudged his side. "Hey, c'mon that was kinda funny at least Crack a smile." True demons had a bad reputation, but Darren did at times try to prove stereotypes wrong.

He thought for a minute before reaching up and holding Castiel's hand. "Y'know...if a person doesn't hold a kid's hand they could easily run off and get hurt....see how I'm trying to behave?" He asked, tilting his head some.

"That is perhaps up for interpretation," Castiel said when the demon child told him that his friends were 'cooler' than he was. He was certain that Dean at least would agree with that assessment of the situation and he personally wasn't going to argue with it whether or not he thought it was accurate. When the boy walked over and took his hand the angel was a bit surprised and he gazed down at the child for a moment before nodding his head ever so slightly. "Very well then, let us be off," Castiel said.

And as soon as those words left his lips there was a rustle of wings and the pair of them zapped out of the cellar where he had came to meet with Crowley.

Darren smiled softly and nodded. "I'm waiting on you buddy." He looked up at Castiel as he heard the sound of wings and looked around as they were suddenly out of the cellar. "Wow...I guess angels are really fast." He said with a soft chuckle as he looked around. "So where are those friends you were talking about?" Darren looked around, trying to pin point exactly where they were, but so far, he wasn't too sure.

Castiel simply looked at the boy when he pointed out that he was waiting for him but he didn't say anything and instead just used his powers to leave the cellar behind. It was only a split second later that they reached their destination and he looked again at the child when he made the comment that angels were fast. "When it is needed," he said before looking around as the kid asked where they are. "The location is unimportant," he replied since he really wasn't quite sure of that one himself.

"Oh look featherbutt's back!" came a voice from just behind them. A boy with chestnut brown hair and bright blue eyes was standing a short distance away, dressed in a hoodie with fox ears and a tail as well as jeans and sneakers. The boy looked at the two of them with something of a confused look in his eyes. "Who's your new friend featherbutt?" he asked curiously.

Darren rose a brow when Castiel told him that their whereabouts was not important, but shrugged, it was better than being in a cellar. His eyes shot up when he heard a voice of another child and looked over at him. He smiled and quickly let go of Castiel's hand and ran over to the boy. "Heeey, cool hoodie. The name's Darren, I'm staying with featherbutt for a while." He said with a soft chuckle. "Featherbutt, that's funny."

Dean looked over and smiled when he saw Castiel. "Hey Cas, where'd ya run off to?" He asked as he walked over and noticed little boy. "Where did'ja get the kid from?" He asked as he stared at the boy then back to the angel.

Castiel looked over at Crevan when the boy spoke to him and he shook his head and said, "Crevan I have asked you not to refer to me as such." After saying that he looked over at Dean when he came over and questioned him about this. "He...is an orphan that I came across, I could not in good conscious simply leave him behind," the angel said, not liking hte fact that he was lying but there was really no way that he could actually tell Dean that this was Crowley's child.

Crevan looked at Castiel when the angel sort of scolded him but he ignored that and turned his gaze to the other boy when he came over. "You're staying with Castiel?" he questioned, looking curious about that one. "That's weird."

Dean rose a brow at Castiel and shrugged. He was an angel and he did tend to like to help people and this was really no different. "Well alright then Cas, well both of ya come in before someone gets sick."

Darren looked at Castiel as he came up with the lie and shrugged. He looked at Crevan and again, shrugged. "Yeah, he just told me to come with him and it's not like I had anywhere else to go. What about you, are you that guy's kid or something?"

Castiel looked at Dean when he said that they should come in before someone gets sick. "That is not something that need be worried about Dean," he said, not saying that the kid was a demon and therefor wasn't going to fall ill.

Of course Crevan heard and then had to pipe up. "No one gets sick because of the weather, the weather does not cause illness,," he said before looking at the strange kid and shaking his head. "No, I'm not his kid."
