A little boy, seemingly no more than 6, sits on a soft bed, contemplating how he got here.

"GUILTY!!" The judge was firm and loud, even quite passionate, probably just an illusion for the defendant. "The evidence is clear, mister. I hereby sentence you to three cycles of 5 to 12, for your criminal activity of embezzlement of public funds."

Calvin sat there with a frown, but not a tantrum, he knew this would happen, his lawyer actually informed him about it.

Calvin is just your average genius of the class, learning elementary school content as early as 4, passing tests with flying colors, skipping through many grades, and getting into college at 14. Things went down fast when he graduated from his PhD, he failed his interview with the top science departments, and was reduced to serving a small tech company, as a chief technology officer.

I didn't deserve this. Calvin thought, he was a star in every school he has been to, sure he is a nerd in most of them, but excellences comes just from that. Working with people that are like 100 IQ less than him is just torture. And stuff like "using AI for user portfolio" feels like an insult.

Calvin began conducting researches of his own, he set up servers, accelerator, and a whole lab in his basement, using his salary, he delved into science as he did in his school days.

Sadly, the company wasn't that big, and the research ran into money shortages quickly. Calvin didn't want to steal (he wasn't capable of that anyway), so he decided to "borrow" some from the company's capital.

That turned out to be a bad idea, computer crimes are a quite a heavy offense in this era. Not only a penitata sentence was waiting for him, but he also made the runner-up on the front page, "A genius is outsmarted!!" and the following "Prodigious officer trialed!"

The flashback ended, and Calvin sigh at his comeuppance, the first cycle is always hard-time, he's gonna suffer a lot. the fact that he woke up without his parents at the ready, means the parents are to be informed of his many psychological issues.

Calvin stare at the door, his new "parents" are going to be entering through that in any second, and he will try his best to not earn a spanking in the first hour of his sentence.

Mike and Sarah were just outside the door, being informed about their new little boy. They had been chosen for Calvin's parents because they were both very experienced with first-cycle hard timers, everything from white-collar criminals like Calvin to Y-reped sex offenders.

"So, what do you think?" Mike asked Sarah as he adjusted the bag he was holding.

"He can't be any more difficult than Judy was." Sarah replied.

Mike laughed. "Yeah, I remember the names she called me when we first met. I thought we were going to use up a whole bottle of mouth soap her first week." He opened the door, revealing the small boy.

For a moment they waited, gauging his reaction. While most newly rejuved penitatas had accepted their fate and hoped to make a good first impression on their new parents to at least not earn any extra spankings, there were those who were still in denial even after their rejuve and tried to plead for mercy, or even fight.

Calvin managed to hear talking outside the door, he failed at catching everything, but he did hear "Judy" and "soap", and a laughing emote for the quantity of the soap in use. They definitely are capable of doing that to Calvin if he didn't watch his mouth.

"I'm going to use my words... carefully," Calvin thinks to himself, "what to say... what to say... do I wave my hand, or..." Calvin is nervous, most rejuves do in this circumstance, but Calvin was already nervous all the time before his rejuvenation, he didn't enjoy talking to people that are not as smart as him, so he simply didn't develop that much social skill. His original parents being smarter than he is didn't help.

The door opened right when Calvin was thinking, sending him from nervousness into panic. He stands up right away, and curiously makes a......salute.

"H, Hi, Sir!"Calvin speak for the first time, stumbling, but incredibly loud, " an.. and Madam!", this time a lot smaller in sound volume, but still loud. Calvin covers his mouth in terror, thinking that will earn him a horrible punishment.

Calvin wasn't yelling or screaming, he just forgot how he talked as a little boy. Children are always equipped with amazing volumes for their parent calling, and since Calvin was quiet the whole time after his rejuvenation, he didn’t have time to adjust his volume to fit casual conversation.

"I should have rehearsed when I was alone..." Calvin think to himself. He look up into his new parents eyes, hoping to find something to work with his next step of conversation.

Alas, there was nothing, sure, that random salute could have generated amused responses, but that is not a good sign, or something to work with.

Mike saw the small boy salute him and laughed. "At ease." He said after a moment.

"Well, aren't you adorable?" Sarah said, ruffling Calvin's hair. "Hello Calvin, we're your new Mommy and Daddy." She smiled as, unknown to the little boy, his bare bottom was sticking out of the paper gown behind him.

"I'm sure you have a lot of questions for us." His new Daddy began slowly, kneeling down to his level as he spoke. "But first, we need to start with the basics. Whenever you are meeting someone new, you need to show them the Ps on the backs of your hands and say 'My name is Calvin. I'm 5 years old and serving 3 cycles of 5 to 12 for embezzlement, and this is my first cycle.' If you don't remember to say that, you will be spanked. Understand?"

Calvin was frightened for a split second on that "at ease" line, but was truly at ease when Sarah touched his hair in a loving manner. No spanking for now, that's a blessing. He even leaned forward for a small degree, under the faint assumption that he might get more of that if he gets closer. That didn't work very well, and only resulted in his bottom being revealed. But the little guy will surely get some more in the future.

Calvin then turn to Mike to listen, lowering his head as looking up became unnecessary. The spoken content was the immediate necessity for a penny to remember, and that made Calvin sad for a short while.

Calvin had been trying to ignore the Ps on his hands ever since he woke up, it feels like a brand for him. He wanted to pretend himself as a normal kid that will just be punished more frequently, an illusion that helps coping with the situation. But now this very reminder of a proper introduction plunged him back into his status: a criminal under penalty.

But it wasn't devastating, for he has found a purpose to endure, no, enjoy his stay for twenty years.

"Y, yes dad," Calvin said sheepishly, "I do have a question…"

Calvin recalled the many days of his glory days, the attention and the praises for being highly talented. "Maybe I can be like that again?"

"When do I start school?" Calvin asked in anticipation.

"Well, first we have your thirty-day introduction period." Mike explained as he got out the clothes Calvin would wear from the bag he carried. "Then your caseworker will evaluate whether you are ready for school." He set out a pair of brown shorts, a red and blue striped shirt, brown shoes, along with socks and underwear. "There are, unfortunately, some penitatas who cannot be allowed around other children because they are too violent and unstable."

"But we're sure you'll be just fine." Sarah reassured Calvin. "In fact, after your welcome home spankings we were hoping to introduce you to our neighbors. The family on our left has a little boy your age, and the family on our right is getting a new little girl today."

She had been about to say more, when suddenly a child's cry rang out though the thin walls from the next room over. This was fallowed by the sounds of hard smacks on soft flesh, and more cries, the unmistakable sounds of a spanking.

"I guess someone was naughty for their new parents." Sarah shook her head before beginning to undress Calvin.

Calvin only listened to half of the tale, which is "there is a 30-day period before school". He responded a "Great!", and sunk into the daydream of a beautiful life 30 days later.

And he snapped out of the daydream when Sarah mentioned "welcome home spankings", yup, the inevitable, he's gonna get it... he managed to hold his urge to rub his bottom before when Mike told him about the consequences of not introducing himself properly, but now he intuitively reach back for his little butt under the paper gown...

Nope! It was in fact not under anything at all!! Calvin quickly rearranged his clothing, wishing he didn't make a fool of himself by being butt-naked the whole conversation(Yes, even when he was dreaming of his life of being a prodigy again!). But that was just a futile attempt, being a child hinders your senses, and being nervous does that as well. Calvin didn't quite realize what the smile of Sarah was for in the first place, and he certainly didn't pay attention to Sarah's second smile as he reached back clumsily.

He did hear Sarah's information though:"Two in one day? And another one starting a cycle before 5? The galaxy is not peaceful..."

"Anyway, I'll..."

"WHa.... that's..." Calvin cringed at the sound, that's a spanking! It might not be common as he grew up, but it was accompanied by cries of another childish voice, there is no other possibility.

However, suddenly, Calvin felt a chill starting from his legs, this chilling feeling then began its climb upward. And he hear a remark from Sarah, that "someone was naughty", and he sees her head shaking. It wasn't till then that Calvin realized he was being removed of his current clothing.

The funny little mind of the poor penny came to a strange conclusion, that stuttering remark was spank-worthy. His legs lost the strength to hold his body, and he almost collapsed had he not been supported by Sarah's arms.

"Please... don't spank me..." Calvin was in tears, "I'll, I'll be good, please, I will be a good boy..."

That clarification did manage to stop the tears of Calvin, after which he obediently got naked and received his dress up. Calvin did enjoy the clothes a lot, not only it's clean, but it also doesn't reek of poverty. Despite his embezzlement of lots of funding, he still managed to live a poor life without much enjoyment. All money goes to his research, at least that's what he believed.

The spanking sounds right next to him also sounded less frightening, and even a little funny since now it's obvious that someone else, and not him, will be getting the punishment.

The happiness almost faded when Mike teased him with a consensual spanking, but Calvin quickly adapted and responed in a smile: "I'm not getting spanked before the welcome home." and he retrieved some sense of humor from his adulthood:"UNLESS, OF COURSE, you guys would like to do my welcome spanking here? It's like an embezzlement of a judical routine. I get it here and not where it's supposed to. That makes us partners in crime."

Dragging someone down the crime sounded like a really weird one, but that's a Calvin joke for you. He kinda thought he wouldn't get spanked bare bottom for a while if he just got dressed, but then he looked up into Mike and Sarah's eyes, and found a sense of cluelessness. "Maybe I shouldn't have made that joke," Calvin contemplated, "making crimes funny could be a bad idea for them."

"Ahahahhaha!! Sorry, I'm kidding, do we go home right now? Let's go!" Calvin walked towards the door, hoping to dismiss that statement.

"Easy there." Sarah grabbed his wrist. "We have to get you dressed first." Indeed, Calvin had just been about to walk out of the room butt naked.

After his new parents had dressed him, they put him into a backpack harness attached to a leash. Calvin recognized it as a penny leash. "You'll be leashed whenever we are out in public for your thirty-day adjustment period." Daddy told him, holding the leash.

Just as they were leaving the room, the door to the next room opened. A little girl Calvin's age, with red hair, was being led out by her new parents. But the eye was immediately drawn to her backside, where her skirt was pinned up, her underwear was missing, and her sore, red bottom was on full display!
