Master Shan Aran was leading, "Careful, I sense a dark presense here." While his eyes wouldn't be able to help him, as a miraluka he could see with more than his eyes. He could tell the ship were lowering and would be landing son. "Be ready for anything."

The ship passed over a vast desert, with many large craters visible. It was the tell-tale sign of orbital bombardment.

"This planet has seen war." Gavin commented. "Strange, I don't recall any recent wars in this sector. These must be ancient scars."

Shan look it over, "keep an eye out for any signs if it is more recent, we do not wish to fall into a trap." He said, the force said nothing but he knew better than to make assumptions about these things.

The ship soon came upon what appeared to be a makeshift spaceport outside of some ruins. All around the cleared rubble were prefabricated buildings of the kind first-generation colonists were given when settling a new planet. And surrounding all of it was a barb wire fence, patrolled by armed guards.

Gavin landed the ship and opened the hatch. Outside several guards were waiting, along with a woman who appeared to be their leader.

Shan put his lightsaber to the holster, "Do you wish to make first contract or should I?" He asked, he could sense they were arm but didn't seem ready to fight them, so it likely wasn't an ambush.

Once they exited the ship the woman began to speak. "Greetings Jedi. I am Alias Ran, Czerka Archeology Department and head of this dig site. I hope your trip was pleasant."

"It was, Pleasure to meet you Miss Ran." He said, giving a slight bow in her direction to show her some respect.

"What exactly is it?" Gavin asked

"Yes, let me explain." Alias stood, folding her hands behind her back. "As you no doubt know, this planet was the site of a major battle during the Sith Wars a thousand years ago. I had teams combing this planet for Sith artifacts, which as I'm sure you know can go for a handsome profit here beyond the reach of the Republic's laws about the trade in such things. But instead of a lightsaber or piece of armor, they discovered a live specimen in a sealed stasis chamber."

Alias paused, letting the implications sink in. "I believe it to be a living Sith."
