"No good can come of a dark side weapon. Even if used with the best of intentions, the dark side will corrupt and twist those intentions."

Down the gangplank they were greeted by a woman in a Czerka uniform, surrounded by four armed guards. "Greetings Jedi." She said. "I am Alias Ran. I hope to negotiate a fair price for the specimen, or at least recoup the cost of capturing it."

"Capturing it?" Gavin asked, surprised. "You have something alive?"

She thought for a moment but trusted her teachers judgement. The dark side had no hold over her. At least yet. She followed the Jedi unusually quiet until they were greeted by Alian Ran.

The girl was also suprised, hearing they had something captured. This seem to confuse Gavin, too.

"Please follow me and I'll show you it." She said.

"What exactly is it?" Gavin asked

"Yes, let me explain." Alias said as she led them into the large central building, folding her hands behind her back. "As you no doubt know, this planet was the site of a major battle during the Sith Wars a thousand years ago. I had teams combing this planet for Sith artifacts, which as I'm sure you know can go for a handsome profit here beyond the reach of the Republic's laws about the trade in such things. But instead of a lightsaber or piece of armor, they discovered a live specimen in a sealed stasis chamber."

Alias paused, letting the implications sink in. "I believe it to be a living Sith."

Lexi was quite shocked to hear they had a living Sith in their captivity. "Master, what do we do in such cases? Can we simply execute him?", she asked, clearly uncomfortable with the thought of killing a defensless enemy, yet still knowing that he posed a threat if unleashed. Also she didn´t trust Alias in the slightes, thinking they would try to take advantage of the Jedi somehow.

"Are you certain?" Gavin asked.

"It had a lightsaber and killed a guard just by reaching out towards him. If that isn't a Sith I don't know what it is." Alias said. "I'll show you to the cell we're keeping it in. Then we can discuss how much your order is willing to pay for it."

They passed through a heavy duty security door Alias had to use a keycard to open. Inside were more guards in front of a locked cell door, with a tiny slot on the bottom for a food dish to enter and be withdrawn.

Alias pulled a remote from her pocket and pressed a button on it. Instantly the door shimmered, becoming transparent. Beyond it could be seen a figure laying on it's side. It's hands were tightly locked in handcuffs and securely bonded on a chain around it's waist and closed with a padlock. Around it's legs were a set of leg irons, a short chain bonding it's ankles, so it could take only little steps; the leg irons were linked with another chain to it's waist chain. Last, another big cuff around it's neck with a chain attached to the wall of the cell. Aside from the chains and a dog-like muzzle the creature was nude and obviously male, with cat-like features including ears and a tail.

But that wasn't the most surprising part. What was surprising was his age. He looked to be a young teenager.

"Why are you calling the Sith "It"? Surely even a Sith is a person.", Lexi stated idealistically and gave Alias a sceptical look.

She waited for them to reveal the prisoner. Only to be taken aback that he was entirely nude. "Fuuck, can´t you give him at least pants?", she said disgusted and turned her gaze away in horror. "Don´t we have some rules on how we treat prisoners?", the young Padawan asked, espacially since their prisoner was so young. "We can´t allow them to abuse him like this...even if it is a Sith.", the girl added.

"Language." Her master reminded her as he stared at the prisoner. The boy looked up, sniffing at the air.

"It can't see us, but it can smell us." Alias explained as the boy growled, fighting his chains. "Now then, let's discuss how much your order is willing to pay for it."

"Sorry, but please give him some clothes.", she said indignant, shocked by their hosts indifference. She focused her gaze at Alias now, her look one of barely contained resentment.

Alias ignored her as she left with Lexi's master. Soon after a guard approached carrying a bowl of mush, using a keycard to open the cell door. He glared at the boy, then set the bowl just out of his reach. Up close Lexi could see bruises and cuts on the boy, as well as how dirty and unkempt he was. He had obviously not been treated well.

"That thing can just go hungry after biting me yesterday." The man said as the boy looked at the food.
