"I told him to come with me, but he insisted in staying." Gavin replied as he used a pair of scissors to cut the boy's shirt open. "He wanted to leave this child to die. Now he's throwing a tantrum because he didn't get his way."

The Cathar boy's injuries were not as severe as they had seemed once Gavin washed some of the blood and filth off of his wounds. A little bacta and some clean bandages and he would probably be fine.

"What's your name boy?" He asked. The Cathar spit at him response.

"So are you going to leave him here?" The cathar asked, none too impressed as the gutted cathar in healing spit at them. "I can take care of this cub or I can take the ship off, can't do both and we must get out of here before the archaeologists state that justice must be done"

Gavin looked to the door. "You're right. Finish up with this one. Once the bacta starts working he could really use a bath."

He went back out of the ship, back into the tunnels. "Zach? I told you to come with me."

The blond boy stood in place and smiled lightly. "I did hear, master, did you hear me, I wonder" He said calmly.

"Zach," Gavin began, putting a hand on the boy's shoulder. "That Sith boy, he was helpless. No matter what we might think of him, or what he has done, it was our duty to help him. Later he might be put on trial for his crimes, but that is not our duty. Our duty is to the force, and we serve it by preserving life whenever possible. Do you understand?"

The Cathar boy looked to Arjun with his one uncovered eye as the bacta closed his wounds and the synthetic blood injections pumped through him. He managed to sit himself up after a few moments.

"Why are you helping me?" He asked. "Do you just want me alive long enough to be executed? Or do you plan to torture me for information?"

"No, I am kind of lost by the fact that you are my master, yet do not listen." Zach said while staying completely frozen in place but smiling widely.

"Cub... shut up" Arjun sighed and, pinching the nape of his neck, like cathar mothers did with their young, he made him lie back on to the table. "You're smarter than that, if I'm helping you is because you're getting a second chance, do not make us change our minds." Keeping his grip on the boy's nape, relying on the fact that it would both bring him comfort and force him to relax, the Cathar master kept him down.

The bacta could heal, the blood could flow, but if an infection came it would have to be treated right away and over a healed wound, which would be worse.

"Masters are to respect their padawans, and listen, listen for that's what we all must do, just as we: padawans, are to respect you and aid you. I thought we came from the same place, but now I am not longer sure." He kept himself still, as a statue.

Had I wanted to kill you, I would have done it already, were you my enemy I would have destroyed you, or used acid on your wounds to make you speak. Now, shut up, cub, for you disturb your healing. Do not make me repeat myself." Arjun ordered with a growl as he looked straight into the boy's eyes.
