Forgot everything I've said about sith and Cancer will assume she is a Jedi on the verge for falling to the dark side. It gives Cancer more of a reason to be fighting her anyway. He can't collect bounties on dead sith, but dead jedi are his meal ticket. edit: I'll be happy to call her Amara once my character has that knowledge ^_^)

Since his helmet had a darkened visor and he'd closed his eyes, Cancer was relatively unaffected by the flash grenade. The jedi had not been as fortunate and was quick to take cover once temporarily blinded. He could have gone after her, but even when blinded jedi had a heighten sense of awareness due to their connection to the force, so approaching her while undercover was foolish. A thermal detonator would probably dispatch her quickly since the desk would offer little to no protection from it, but he got no bounty on jedi that were blown to pieces. He need more substantial proof of the kill.

He walks over to the kolto tank were the other jedi was starting to stir and move. He places a remote detonating mine on the tank. If he set off the mine, the jedi inside would surly die. But he didn't want to kill her this way much for the same reason he couldn't blow up the other jedi, besides he needed her at the moment. Keeping his thumb hovering over the detonator, he speaks to the jedi hiding behind the desk while stepping a clear distance away from the tank. His voice comes out sounding synthetic, no doubt due to the voice changer equipped in his helmet.

"Come out slowly and carefully jedi, with your hands up. If you try anything funny I'll blow this cute little girl jedi to smithereens..." he turns his attention to the jedi inside the tank, "Don't try to get out, I won't hesitate to kill you if i must."

The tank emptied and Kira laid there at the base, beginning to regain conciousness.

Amara cursed under her breath, but put out her lightsaber. "You're bluffing!" She shouted to the attacker. Damnit! If I don't get her everything is ruined! Why did that armor clad buffoon have to intrude when everything went so smoothly!? Once I get a chance I'll run my saber through his ass and out his mouth!

(It's just a secret because she haven't been accepted yet. She was promised a rank if she caught Kira, to bad she's tricked anyway. And sorry, Xam.)

Kira stood up and looked between the two. She was still in her underwear. She kicked open the pod and stepped out, noticing the explosive. "Nice trick, but you don't get your bounty if you blow it to smitherines. I must applaud your ability to bluff to a young girl. No really, that takes talent." Kira said all this sarcastically.

Cancer had to admit he was quite surprised by the previously incapacitated jedi's actions. The explosive actually was real and he was telling the truth when he'd said blow her up, but he'd gambled that Arama wouldn't have allowed him to do it. However Kira's actions changed alot, but that advantage was still his. Kira really didn't have anyway of knowing if the explosive was real or not, and that worked to his advantage, it was still armed after all. Also even though Kira was free she was weaponless and no doubt still a bit disoriented from her recovery. He aimed his pistol at her and pulled the trigger, aiming for her shoulder.

"It does take talent. I would not have lived so long hunting your kind if I could not bluff my way out of a situation."

Kira bent over and touched her toes avoiding the blast. She stretched and said, "Nice touch using a real explosive by the way. That sure ain't no toy. I guess I better get as far away from it as I can. Do I have the energy?" She rubbed her legs. "Survey says yes. Have fun killing each other. If one of you lives and comes after me I promise to beat you up." Suddenly she used a force run and ran off out of the area at high speed. When she got far enough away though, she crashed into a mechanical door, which opened afterwards making her plop to the ground. "Urg! Admittedly not my best idea."

Amara, whos eyes got back their sigh just in time to see Kira's escape, cursed loudly at charged for the distracted bounty hunter, planning on getting him out of the way as soon as possible with some quick lightsaber work and leave the bastard in tiny chips all over the station.
After jumping over the desk and landing a bit away from the hunter she quickly approached him, ready to force push anything he threw right up his tailpipe! Boy was she angry now!

Cancer was less then pleased that his plan had now fallen apart, he couldn't afford to let the one jedi escape. He was not very concerned for the other at the moment. She seemed to want Kira for some reason, so he was sure that as long as he kept Kira in sight Amara would not be far behond. Using speed quite remarkable for someone in full battle armor he whipped out his Light Lightning Cannon and fires a large blast at the on coming Amara. He then fires up his back mounted jet-pack and uses it to fly through the broken doorway to the medbay they were in. The moment he was clear he pressed the detonator to the armed mine still in the medbay. He didn't know if Arama was in range for it to be effective on her but that was irrelevant. It was only meant to but time.

The asteroid facility itself was actually quite large and open spaced giving Cancer plenty of room to use his jet pack to navigate through the halls. Good thing too, because without it, he would not be able to outrun the lighter and faster jedi.

Cancer snarled in anger as he looked this way and that, looking for where Kira had gone to. It was unlikely she had made it to a ship yet, as her own ship had been destroyed. As for the ship Amara came on... he smirked and activated his com-link, "HK-51, what is your status..."

(edit: yes Cancer does have a HK protocol droid. He does work for the Exchange and the Exchange employs and sells HK droids; so it's not totally unreasonable to say he has bought one. I'll wait for Xam's approval first though before I start using it)

Amara wasn't far behind at all. As Cancer tried to escape she had attached a seeker to his jetpack and was running only a few corridors away while trying to sense where Kira had gone to.

Kira ran into a nearby room, lookiing around wildly. She gasped happile and opened a locker, which had a miner's uniform in it. She squealed and put on the cloths, and quickly began walking around holding the hat down so no one would recognize her. Someone came out of the shower and said, "Wheres my uniform?!" At that moment Kira ran, but at normal speed.
