Icy gaze drifted from the tailor to the young man standing in the center of the room, elbow sitting on the armrest of the chair as chin rested against a closed fist. A light smile touches his lips. “Oh? Is my puppy the forgiving kind?” He muses, tilting his head back toward Massimo and waving him back. The second does as he’s told, backing away from the blonde man and exiting the curtain once again. He would only remain if requested, and Giovanni thought it would be better to only have the three of them.

Hand waves at Luigi, encouraging him to get to work, but first – “Careful. We don’t want a repeat of earlier. In fact, I shouldn’t be the one you’re begging for forgiveness, should I?” Attention drifts from the blonde to the puppy. Luigi clearly takes the hint, crawling over to Stoney and apologizing. A multitude of times. After a bit, the leader leans back in his seat, getting comfortable to watch the pair.

“That’s enough. Get to work.” And Luigi does just that, scrambling to his feet and trying to finish what he’d started. The rest of the measurements were taken, though hands were shaky and took slightly longer than necessary. When it came to finally measuring out the final part, the one that Stoney had so drastically reacted to, Luigi paused. “Hold this end to your thigh.” He instructs, still not calm, as he offers him one end of the measuring tape.

Stoney gave an indifferent shrug in response to the question and watched at the massimo was dismissed from the room before his gaze shifted to Luigi while taking a small step back with a raised brow as he crawled over to him and apologized repeatedly. It was a little conflicting admittedly as he wasn’t sure how he felt about the mans groveling, he didn’t hate it but it was also something that he hadn’t particularly experienced before either…if anything it was just well…a bit odd to him.

The boy began growing a little restless after a bit, he hated having to stand in one place for so long as annoyance and boredom began crossing his features followed by a small huff. This whole being compliant was gonna be harder than he thought if this was how the rest of their stops were gonna be. His eyes glazed a little as he began to space out, his gazed locked on nothing more than a random spot on the curtain. His dazed look lasted up until his focus was disturbed and his mind was brought back to reality as he glanced down a little confused at first before everything processed.

“Hmm? Oh.” He said taking the tape measure and moving it to where Luigi needed it as he got the last of the measurements for his new clothes. “Are we done now, we’ve been here for what feels like hours.” He fussed a bit before stretching which was quickly followed by a series of pops coming from the smallers body as he did so.

“Is that whining I hear? Certainly not my good boy, who said he’d behave all day. We’ve barely been here an hour, pup. And we certainly would’ve been done quicker had you not run off.” The leader commented absently, fingers moving over his phone to glance at a variety of text messages and e-mails. He was still working while the tailor quickly did his own job, scurrying away when he was finally done. An extended hand stops the man from completing his departure, a frown scattering over the blonde’s features. Yet, he said nothing, waiting for the boss to speak. “We’ll be on our way. Call me when the clothing is ready. Throw in a few casual things – after all, I do all my shopping here.”

The man nods in reply, showing that he understands; he watches as Giovanni stands from his spot, smiling much calmer than previously. A kiss was exchanged to each cheek. And then the mafia leader is turning his attention toward his toy, hand held out as his phone returns in his pocket. “Let’s go. We have a few more stops. I need to get you that doggy bed you wanted, then we’ll get lunch with my girlfriend, and we have to mark you.”

Opposing hand looks at the watch on his wrist. The boy would have him all to himself for the day, as Massimo made sure to clear his schedule – a rare occurrence. A smirk is thrown in his little one’s direction. “Think you can last all day, pup? Something tells me your attention span is gonna get you into trouble. Why don’t I sweeten our deal? You last all day without a single incident – You can ask me for literally anything, and it’s yours.”

And once they departed the store, Giovanni led Stoney into the nearby pet store.

Stoney gave a small huff in response while subconsciously rolling up his sleeves rolling his eyes a bit, his attention was turned to his fingernails as he began picking at them a bit whilst Giovanni spoke with Luigi for a moment. Hazel eyes lifting when a shadow hovering over him indicated the mans presence as he now stood in front of him with an out stretched hand. The boy didn’t accept the offer this time and instead slid his hands down into his own pockets whilst raising an eye brow at the last remark.

“Mark me? With what a tattoo?” He asked as he followed along side the larger man before looking up at him when he added to the deal of Stoney being able to ask for litterly anything if he was able to make it all day without a single incident. Endless possibilities came with such an ability like that, the wheels turned in his mind as he thought about it before giving a nod. “What can I say, I wasn’t raised with a silver spoon. Prefer not to be center of attention, more of a minimalist really.” He said

When the offered hand was rejected it landed in his pocket, bright smile fading. How disappointing. He’d just gotten such a positive reaction from the boy not long ago, and now he’d returned to keeping his distance. What a strange little creature. Perhaps the more the gang leader kept away from the other, the more attention he would give the larger of the pair. Game on, puppy. If ignoring is what Stoney wanted, then the man could surely provide. After all, he’d lived so long without the little one, what would a few days do?

Feet lead him to the next store, expecting him to follow. Hands settle in his pockets, only pulling out when he needs to take a closer look at something. He wasn’t kidding when he said he’d get the other a doggy bed to sleep on. If that’s what he wanted, then for now, he’d give it to him. Allow him to have his distance. “Yes, or we can brand you like a cow. Whichever you prefer. But – You’re mine. And I need to make sure everyone knows it.” He comments absently, grabbing one of the largest beds and walking up to the counter with it. Not giving the other the chance to argue about it or pick one for himself. Not exactly something he’d think any person would want to sleep in, but who was he to complain?

“You’ll get the same one I have on my chest.” He explains further, paying for the bed and walking back out, all the while expecting the other to follow like the good boy he was. The bag with the bed was handed to him. “This is yours. Carry it.”

Little did Giovanni know was that was exactly what his puppy wanted, to be in the same room and not be messed with or bothered. Stoney followed along beside the man as they entered the pet store and headed to the pet bed isle. “I’ll stick with the tattoo” he said when told it was either that or be branded like a cow, the choice being left to the smaller as it seemed Giovanni was set on marking his new territory one way or another. He watched Giovanni grab a large pet bed at random and take it to the counter before his attention was drawn else where. Where did his gaze land? Why it landed none other than the cat adoption area as he made his way over and looked at all the kitties seeming rather content for the time being. Once the bed was purchased Stoney was right back to following along side him obediently, after all his ass depended on it as he was still sore enough from the first one he’d received, especially after that damned brush.

A spark of rebellion lingered in his eyes for a moment, almost as though he were about to make a smart ass remark. To the mans surprise however it seemed the remark wouldn’t be allowed to leave his Pets lips as he instead took the bag and carried it, deep down however something else stirred with in the boy as it waited to hear that praise he secretly desired. Of course that wasn’t the only thing that had gotten stirred up a bit, thankfully the dog bed concealed his unexplainable dirty little secret

A wise choice. Branding never did feel good, plus the smell of burning flesh came with a certain acquired taste. Attention had occasionally drawn to the thief’s whereabouts, but otherwise allowed him free reign of the store until they had to leave. The obedient silence was met with a quick pat to the boy’s hair as praise, so swift that it was barely even noticeable. If he truly wanted to be coddled, he’d have to wait for the end of the day, and have to behave – realistically, all he had to do was ask Giovanni and he would comply, or simply get the attention himself.

A glance at his watch signifies that they need to get going. Lunch, the tattoo, and the rest of the day can be reserved for whatever his pet wants to do. Well, he still needed a bath. Jumping in a dumpster certainly wasn’t something that the mobster was satisfied with. Getting into the car, he orders the driver to their new destination, the rest of the group of men would follow after so that the man would be protected from any enemies, without having to actually worry at all. Leaning back in his seat, arms cross over his chest, lips contorting slightly at the feeling of his side tugging at the injury left by the puppy. “That’s what you wanted to sleep on, right?”

Stoney hadn’t seemed to have minded the quick and subtle bit of affection as he carried the dog bed to the car and got in before resting it in his lap. His fingers absentmindedly stroking the soft material as he glanced out the window when the car began to go after Giovanni had given the next set of directions. His eyes glazed over a bit, an almost empty look in his eyes though in reality he’d just spaced out for a bit, thoughts swimming though his mind as he tried to figure out just what the hell was causing a particular party of his body to erect as it certainly seemed to have something to do with Giovanni…..but what though?

“Hmm?” He bummed a moment later before the question processed and he gave a small nod in response. “Yea, now you can sleep in your bed and I can sleep away from the bed without you having an aneurysm about it.” He said before his eyes trailed down to the area he’d bitten Giovanni earlier

Attention drifts to the puppy’s fingers, watching as they drift through the material of the small bed. How utterly adorable. Head tilts lightly as he hears the other’s words, smirk crawling to his lips with a nod. “Of course. I don’t need you to lay on the ground. What would people say?” The drive is short enough. A nice restaurant, and there’s a woman waiting outside, expecting the pair. Yet, the man doesn’t step out yet.

Instead, elbows sit on his knees, hand reaching out after a moment to take the hand that’s roaming over the soft substance; an attempt to get his attention, and give him a little needed attention. “That’s Alessia. You’ll become very familiar with her. I want you to like her.” Aqua hues observe him, moving his hand to press lips against the other’s knuckles; the other hand working on opening the door for them. Enough about Alessia. “Did you like those cats?” Yes, he’d paid attention.

Stoney hadn’t noticed Giovanni watching him as his gaze returned back to the window, fingers still drifting through the soft material at a consistent pace. Well he was until his hand was stopped by a much larger as his attention shifted from the window to the hand before trailing up to meet the eyes that belonged to said hand. “That all depends on her wether I like her or not, I’m pretty confident in not.” He said looking at the woman for a moment. Hand retreating as it was kissed before Giovanni was met with a look that was both confused and conflicted about how he felt about what had just happened.

The boy looked at him for a moment as he stepped out of the car. “From the pet store? They were cute.” He said with a small shrug before hazel green hues drifted to meet Alessia’s. There was something off about her and yet he couldn’t put his finger on it.
