Crevan nodded his head and went to get silverware and plates so that he could set the table, that little job not taking too long and he looked at Roy when the man suggested that he go outside. "The going outside bit is fine but I'm not really interested in making friends," Crevan told him quietly. "I don't exactly fit in with kids my age."

Roy wasn't so sure how he felt about that, since he wanted the boy to have at least one friend. "Well I won't force you but I think it would be good for you, you're also an only child...and I just don't want you to be lonely when I'm too busy to play or spend time with you, which I promise won't happen a lot." he explained and smiled as he set the table. "Thanks for that pal, looks good." he said, sitting down and glancing at his phone. "I guess this means no more juvie for you."

Crevan looked at Roy when he made the comments about him being lonely and that just gained a shrug of the shoulders from the boy. "I'm used to entertaining myself. I wasn't technically an only child but my twin only lasted a week so I grew up alone," he said, sort of matter of factly. After that he smiled when the man thanked him for setting the table, the boy looking confused by Roy's next statement. "What do you mean?" he asked.

"Oh, I'm sorry Pal." Roy answered sadly when Crevan mentioned he had a twin but it didn't work out and he felt bad for reminding the boy of that. "Alright well, I'll get you something you can play by yourself then." he answered and then mentioned the thing about juvie. "Well, I'm your legal guardian now, your Father and as long as I can prove you will not behave like that again, then you can stay out of the place." he explained and yawned again, still pretty damn tired and wondering when he'd be able to have that nap.

"Nothing for you to be sorry about," Crevan told him quietly before he went on to question the man about the juvie thing and he had a puzzled look on his face as he heard that. "I didn't think that it worked that way...I thought I had to serve that sentence regardless," he said since he really had thought that was the way that it worked.

"Well you got in there because you kept running away from foster homes, well now you have a permanent home and so circumstances will change." Roy clarified with the boy, but it really was a lot of confusing adult stuff that the boy probably wouldn't understand and Roy was going to have to pull a few strings regardless. His thoughts were distracted by the timer on the oven going off, and he got up to put the food onto plates, handing one to his son, "Dinner's ready." he smiled.

"I also got sent there for vandalism," Crevan reminded the man since it seemed as though he had forgotten that part or else just omitted it because he didn't like the thought. He heard the timer go off and then he watched as the man went to get the food, Crevan inclining his head slightly as he said, "Thanks." He picked up a fork and got a bit, smiling as he said, "IT's good."

"Well like I said, it's not set in stone but it's looking promising." Roy answered and then got the food, serving it up and then handing one of the plates to Crevan, smiling when the boy said it was good. "Aw, thanks pal, and nice job on the Garlic bread, I can never cut them evenly." he smiled, sitting down and tucking into his own meal, and it was pretty damn good.

"I'll take your word for it," Crevan said when told that it was looking promising, the boy going on to concentrate on his food and he told Roy that it was good since it really was. After that he was quiet for a bit, just eating and pretty much ending up lost in his own thoughts. He did have a lot to think about after all, there were a lot of things that were changing.

Roy was a bit concerned when the boy went quiet, but figured he'd pestered him enough for the time being and he left the kid alone to his thoughts. If the boy wanted to tell him what was going down then he would, Roy wouldn't force it or anything like that. He finished his meal and glanced to the clock, yawning again. "Hey bud, mind if I take a little nap? You can watch one of the films if you want to."
