"It might be pretty bad," Crevan said when the man said that it was probably not that bad. "It's probably worse," he added with something of a chuckle but when he reached for the notepad Crevan let him take it. He looked over at Roy when the man told him that it was good and he found himself wondering if it was genuine but he didn't see any signs of lies. "Really? You think so?" he couldn't help but ask. After that the topic changed to s'mores and the boy admitted that he'd never made those, following along behind Roy when the man told him to come on.

"I know so, you got some real talent, son." Roy answered, pride absolutely glowing from him and he cuddled his little one close, pressing a kiss to his head just to make him feel that little bit extra special and then he lead his son into the kitchen and got out what they would need, Graham crackers, chocolate and big marshmallows. "Looks like we're gonna have some good s'mores tonight bud." he grinned, "I made them once before, I think."

Crevan smiled brightly when Roy told him that he had real talent since he wasn't used to people saying stuff like that about him. After that the two of them decided on making s'mores and he followed Roy to the kitchen, the kid sort of gaping at the size of the marshmallows that Roy produced. "Whoa, those things are huge," he said, picking one up and just sort of staring at it.

"Yeah I know, I don't even remember why I bought them, but at least now we can put them to good use." Roy smiled at the boy and melted the chocolate on the stove, chuckling as he saw how fascinated his son was with the giant marshmallow. "You can have one if you want pal, there's plenty of them for the s'mores." he informed, stirring the chocolate to make sure it didn't stick to the bowl.

Crevan held the marshmallow up and then he crammed the whole thing into his mouth, a smile on his face as he chewed it. After that he stood beside Roy as the man melted the chocolate for the s'mores that they were making. Marshmallows were sort of a rare treat as well and he was quite happy right now even before they made the s'mores.

Roy chuckled as he watched the little boy stuff the thing into his mouth and chew it, it was on the tip of his tongue to tell the child to be careful about choking but he realized Crevan needed some independence and trust to do things on his own. He liked how happy the boy was now. "Do you wanna spread the chocolate onto the crackers?" he asked, ruffling the boy's hair, "You can also lick the bowl."

The marshmallow was huge and stuffing the whole thing in his mouth was probably not the best idea that Crevan had ever had but he did it anyway and was enjoying himself. He looked at Roy and nodded his head when he was asked about spreading the chocolate on the graham crackers, not quite able to speak just yet because of the mouth full of marshmallow.

Roy shook his head and ruffled the kid's hair, giving him time to chew and swallow the huge marshmallow and then he handed him the crackers and the melted chocolate, while he sliced the marshmallows to make them fit better on the crackers with the chocolate, since they were pretty big. "You can lick the bowl and the spoon when we're done with it, if you want." he informed the child, remembering how he got on sugar but he didn't mind.

Crevan finally managed to swallow his ginormous marshmallow and then he took the bowl and the spoon that he was being offered and started to spread the melted chocolate on the graham crackers. He looked at Roy when told again that he could lick the bowl and the spoon and he offered him a bright smile. "Thanks Dad," he said before going back to what he was doing.

Roy smiled when Crevan once again called him Dad, he just couldn't get enough of that really, "You're welcome buddy." he answered and ruffled his hair, letting him get on with that task and waiting so that he could add the marshmallows and then heat up the s'mores so that they could eat them. He was having a good time with his son, he very much enjoyed bonding with him.
