Crevan watched as the man left him to go into the kitchen, the kid listening to the sounds of him rummaging around for various things and then he smiled slightly when Roy came back with the snacks. "Guess you were hungry," he actually teased lightly before nodding at the offer. "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind," he said quietly when he was told to just take what looked good. After that he just focused his attention on the movie, watching with a look of interest in his blue eyes.

Roy had to chuckle when he saw how interested Crevan was in the film, he thought it was pretty cute, and he was relieved that the kid was watching a film he liked, it had action in and other things that would appeal to an eleven year old boy. "Well I'm glad you like it." he added and got himself more comfortable on the sofa, "You warm enough, Crevan?"

Crevan was focused on the movie so at first he didn't really notice that Roy was talking to him, it was more of a delayed response, the kid looking over at the man after a moment and nodding his head. "Yea I'm fine," he said quietly, offering the man a bit of a smile in response to that before shifting his attention back to the movie that the two of them were watching.

When the movie ended, Roy smiled and stood up, thinking the kid had enjoyed it which caused the man to smile a bit at him. "Did you like that then?" he asked, waiting for the answer before heading into the kitchen to fix the both of them some lunch. "Kinda sad when they had to kill Aslan though, huh?"

Crevan looked up at Roy when the man rose to his feet and asked if he had liked the movie, the boy nodding his head with some enthusiasm, which was not typical for the normally reserved boy. "It was good," he said, watching as Roy as the man made his way to the kitchen and on a whim he followed along behind the man. "Yea, I thought for a bit that it was for keeps," Crevan said quietly, recalling that scene and he had been surprised by teh way that things had worked out.

"Yeah same here, but I like the message it gave, that good is stronger than evil." The man answered with a smile. "And death seemed to make Aslan stronger." he added, glad to see Crevan so enthused about something since he liked seeing him happy. He opened the door to let Balto in and he immediately went to Crev, slurping all over his hand, tail wagging hard. "You hungry yet Crevan?"

Crevan got a bit of a distant look in his eyes when Roy made the comment about good being stronger than evil, the child shaking his head as he replied, "Maybe." That one he wasn't so sure about but he let it go since he didn't want to dampen the mood, the kid laughing as his guardian let the dog in and the animal immediately came over and gave him a slobbery greeting. "Hi to you to," he said with a soft laugh, not really minding the doggy slobber even though a lot of people would have been disgusted by that. "Maybe a little bit," he replied quietly when asked if he was hungry.

Roy chuckled when Balto decided Crevan needed a bath, and he nodded when the kid said he was a little bit hungry, which was probably as much as the kid was going to ever be. "Alright, I'm making lunch." he answered, making some sandwiches for the two of them to share since he wasn't sure what the kid liked. He made cheese ones, ham ones, prawn ones, chicken ones and tuna ones, so he had a lot of choice. He picked himself up one of the prawn ones and tucked in.

Crevan was focused on the dog while Roy was making lunch, the kid really having an affinity for animals and he was like a completely different child when he was near them. He had a slight smile on his face that was hardly ever there and it just made him look, innocent was probably the best word for it. He looked over at the man when he heard things stop rustling around and his eyes widened a bit when he saw the assortment of sandwiches. "Hungry are you?" he asked, wondering if the man was really going to eat all of those since to him it seemed like an absurd amount.

"No I made them for the two of us." Roy answered and smiled, pushing the plate toward the kid and smiling when he saw how happy he was around the dog which he thought was a bit odd that he was only happy about it but he liked that the kid was happy nonetheless. "So just help yourself, I didn't know what you liked but I just threw any old stuff together, there's lots of choice."
