Pearl had her eyes closed and waited for the punishment to start. Her legs were dangling a bit, she was clearly nervous since she wasn’t used to getting spanked by Garnet. Usually Amethyst was the trouble maker of their group – like when she had damaged her gem after being reckless and falling off a cliff.

The pale gem squeaked at the first smack to her bare rear, she was surprised at how much strength Garnet was using. “Ow…” She whimpered quietly and tried to stay as still as possible. Her backside was slowly starting to sting and she had to fight the urge to reach back and rub. The swats to her thighs made her squeak again and her eyes were already a little bit wet just from the warm-up. “I-I tricked you…” She mumbled, her face red from embarrassement. “I broke your trust and wasted important time… that’s why I need to be punished accordingly.”

[Aymer]

Garnet nodded, even though Pearl couldn't see her. "Yes, you did. You violated my trust and the trust of the team." Garnet reached over to where she had set the hairbrush on the edge of the pit and picked it up, turning it over in her hand. "You know I don't like to to this Pearl, but I can't let things like this slide."

"You are going to get the hairbrush now. You don't have to stay silent, but you are not allowed to kick or resist in any way." With that, she brought down the wooden circle against her right cheek. She used less force than with the hand spanking, but the implement multiplied the feeling. Withing a few minutes of use, the hairbrush had darkened the light teal on Pearl's backside to a deeper blue. She decided she would give her a few minutes more with the brush before moving on to the penultimate part of the spanking.

“I’ll try…” Mumbled the pale gem and braced herself for the hairbrush. She knew that keeping herself from kicking was the most difficult part about this, so she held onto Garnet’s legs for some support. “Just get this over with…”

Pearl cried out after the first swat, and soon the first tears were trickling down her flushed face. “Oww, Garnet! It hurts!!” She struggled and squirmed a little bit, her cries of pain getting louder after every swat. “Please no more, I’m so sorry!!!” After a few minutes of getting spanked with the dreaded brush Pearl couldn’t stay in position anymore. “I can’t take this anymore!!” She sobbed and kicked with her legs while simultaneously trying to push herself off Garnet’s lap. “Let me go!!” Of course Pearl was far from poofing from pain and Garnet was well aware of that fact – it was still stinging like mad though.

[Aymer]

In response to Pearl's sudden resistance, Garnet took the hand that was empty and grabbed both of Pearl's arms, pining them behind her back. She also took one of her legs and looped it over Pearl's kicking feet, locking them down. "Pearl, you and I both know that that was a gross overreaction. I told you not to resist, but you did anyway. I know it hurts; that's the point." With that, she brought the hairbrush down six extra hard times on each of her thighs, surely causing them to sting greatly.

After a few more merciless minutes, Garent abruptly stopped. "I will give you a couple of minutes to get yourself together before we finish." She released her hold on her and pulled Pearl up into a hug. "You know I hate to do this, but it's what I have to do."

Since Garnet had completely restrained Pearl, all the poor gem could do the next few minutes was to cry and sob. She didn’t calm down when the fusion stopped to hug her, instead the pale gem was just clinging to Garnet for dear life while she was bawling her eyes out. Pearl truly looked pathetic right now, but she didn’t care. “I-I’m so so sorryyy!!” She whimpered and hid her face against Garnet’s form.

The worst thing about this? The punishment wasn’t over yet and Pearl already felt like she wouldn’t sit for a week! “Pl-please… not the c-cane…!” The poor gem sobbed but she already knew her leader’s answer. Begging had never stopped Rose from finishing a punishment, so why should it work on Garnet. “Y-You know how much it h-hurts… don’t you think I have been punished e-enough?!” She was still clinging to Garnet like a young and scared human child.

[Aymer]

Garnet placed a hand on Pearl's chin and tilted her head up so that they were face to face. "I know that you are sorry. I know how much the cane hurts. I know how much it will continue to hurt for a while. But I have decided your punishment, and that is final." Seeing the bawling gem, she wanted very badly to stop. But her Sight told her that stopping short would just prolong the tension between them.

After a few minutes, when Pearl had stopped crying so profusely, Garnet spoke again. "I want you to bend over and touch your toes. You will count each of the strokes. I will not give you extra with the cane if you don't, but I will give you another minute with the brush. Do you understand?" She picked up the cane and gave it an experimental swoosh through the air. She hadn't used it since the Amethyst incident, and she wanted to make sure she didn't go too hard on poor Pearl.

It had taken quite a while for Pearl to calm down again and she was still sniffling, but like the good gem she usually was she finally bent over to touch her toes. Good thing she was so flexible, Amethyst always struggled to get in this position. "U-Understood..." She whimpered quietly and flinched at the sound of the cane biting through the air.

She was already so sore, but she knew it would be over soon. "O-One!" She counted, waiting for the sharp pain. Then she felt the first stroke on her already beaten rear and Pearl immediately left her position and straightened like a spring. "AH!" The pale gem cried out and furiously rubbed her poor bottom with both hands. She knew this would have consequences, but right now she just didn't care.

[Aymer]

Garnet pressed against Pearl's back, bending her back over. "I did not say that you could not leave your position, so I will not punish you for that. However, from now on, if you leave your position, it will be the same as if you did not count. Understood?" She examined the line that had formed on Pearl's rear. It was stark black, like a tattoo, near the upper crease of her cheeks. It would likely last for a month, continuing to punish Pearl at an interval of a few hours until it wore off.

Satisfied that she was doing well. Garnet lined up the cane just below the first mark, tapping it once against Pearl's behind. Without a word, she reared it back and brought it down sharply against her buttocks. She repeated this two more times, continuing to work her way down Pearl's bottom, leaving the black marks behind.

Pearl simply nodded instead of answering, she didn’t trust her voice right now. She also didn’t fight Garnet when she bent her back into position, she just sobbed harder. Only a few more strokes, then this would be finally over!

She took the next stroke like a good gem, and the next as well as the following one. Four dark lines were now next to each other, one stinging worse than the other. “Wah…!” She cried, her tears dripping to the floor. When the fifth blow landed right on her sensitive sit-spots, she couldn’t stay in position anymore and she straightened again. “It hurtsssss!!” The bawling gem whimpered like a child now while holding her poor bottom.

Garnet once again pushed her back into position. "Pearl, I warned you about this. That's an extra minute with the brush when we finish." Wanting to get this over with, Garnet quickly brought down the next stroke, landing just at the top of Pearl's thighs. Ruby and Sapphire winced together at that, and Garnet resisted the urge to stop then and there. Wasting no time, she brought down the last two strokes in an x pattern across her bottom, overlapping with the others. The pain practically radiated off of Pearl's cheeks like fire. Garnet dropped the cane and, standing her up, pulled her into a hug.

"It's okay, it's okay, the worse part is over now." She let Pearl sob into her chest for a while, not wanting to give her the extra she had earned but knowing that she had no other choice. She wouldn't go hard, but just enough to be felt. She wanted to finish before the marks began repeating themselves again.
