"Hm, I own my Pearl another beating as well..." Blue was thinking out loud. "Do you think we maybe should punish them together? We usually don't do that, but maybe it'd embarrass them."

Yellow nodded, wincing at the thought of another beating so shortly after the last one. "Well, let's get out of here... makes no sense to stay in here if we can't cuddle anymore..." And with that she pressed the touch screen to open the door.

"Considering what they've likely been doing during their rest cycle, I doubt there is much shame between them." Yellow thought for a moment. "No, I think we should keep them apart outside of their... designated time."

Blue followed Yellow out of the door and back into the corridors of the Diamond's high command. "I hope I get to see you again soon. Be good while I'm gone." Blue gave a kiss on the cheek, reaching around and lightly slapping her rear with a giggle.

"Oh... I guess you are right." Blue hadn't thought that far, sometimes it was easy to forget that Pearls were 'actual gems' and not just shiny toys. "Yes, that seems to make sense. They also need to understand how priviledged they are."

"Aww, you're so swe-..." Just when Yellow wanted to say something about how sweet was right now, the other Pearl smacked her. "Urgh, I changed my mind. I won't miss you, you brat!"

"I very much intend on making sure mine knows exactly how lucky she is that she isn't owned by someone lower on the chain of command. Though, I suppose from her point of view "luck" may not be the right term." She gave her fellow Diamond a peck on the cheek. "Before too long." She stepped onto the warp pad, and was gone in a flash.

"I'll miss you and your rear too, sweetie. Try not to get shattered before we meet again." She blew Yellow a kiss before turning and marching back to Blue Diamond's court and her station.

Blue watched her lover leave with a sad smile. Their time had been so short... what was a moment of happiness compared to a life of eternal life and longing for each other?
She then watched the two Pearls and how they treated each other. They were in love, no doubt and she wasn't sure she liked that. Pearls were supposed to only love their Diamonds - but their love for each other made them behave better and work harder in fear of getting seperated. So for now Blue would allow them to spend her rest cycles together.
"Yellow Pearl, you are to warp back to Yellow Diamond's court immediately." She said coldly and the little Pearl saluted before leaving.

Yellow didn't have to wait long for her pearl to return from the Blue court. "Pearl." She appraised her servant with narrowed eyes. "Organize the communiques that came in over the rest cycle. Respond to the trivial ones and send me the important ones." She took a seat at her work station, calling upbher screens.

Blue Pearl bowed before her Diamond as she entered, feeling a pang of sadness as the warp pad carried her lover away. "My Diamond. Shall I begin organizing the reports from the rest cycle?" If the answer was no, it would likely not mean good things for her, or a certain part of her anatomy.

Yellow tried to hide how nervous she was right now. Only centuries of training made it possible that she wasn't shivering and trembling with fear right now. "Yes, my Diamond!" She saluted quickly and went to work. At least she wasn't getting another beating right now like she had been expecting.

"Hm..." Blue Diamond seemed to be lost in thought for a moment. No. Not yet." She replied simply and glared down at her much smaller servant.

Yellow began her work for the cycle, catching up with the reports she had missed. She noticed that her Pearl seemed to be moving twice as fast as usual. She chalked it up to her desire not to give Yellow any reason to thrash her again. And for now, the Diamond could wait. There was real work to do.

A less well trained Pearl might hove broken down, sobbing and begging for mercy. But Blue remained outwardly stoic, even as her hopes crumpled in her chest. "What would you have me do, my Diamond?"

Yellow Pearl worked fast and efficiently, but she was also very very nervous. She knew that her Diamond was still unhappy with her behaviour before the resting cycle. "M-My Diamond." She spoke up suddenly. "An Agate requests more Bismuths to help building the next communication hub on the new colony."

"Quiet, I didn't allow you to ask a question!" Blue Diamond huffed and watched her Pearl with narrowed eyes. "Bring me one of the straps we got during our colony inspectation." Blue was quite fond of those strap things made out of the skin of organic life forms. Leather or whatever it was called.

Yellow Diamond waved her hand, calling up the request to her screen. "Tell her to make do with what she's got. She's already gotten a reinforcement, brigade, at this point she's just being greedy." She snapped her finger, deleting the report.

Her heart sank as she bowed before her Diamond. "Of course, my Diamond." She turned, leaving the chamber as she made her way to the storage archives. She had been present when her Diamond had been presented with the instrument. It's terrifying effect had been demonstrated for them, first on the natives, and then on a battalion of Citrines. Blue inwardly shivered as she retrieved the tool, returning to Blue Diamond's chamber. "The instrument you asked for, My Diamond."
