"I-I need to make sure that... ah! my D-Diamond knows t-that I'm learning..." The poor Pearl managed to somehow speak between strokes. She just wanted to poof, why couldn't they allow her that? Instead swat after swat came down on her unprotected backside, and the Pearl couldn't stop herself from crying out after each harsh stroke. But she didn't leave her position, she would never dare to do that, no matter how many tears were streaming down her face.

Seeing her Pearl in the corner like this got the Diamond thinking. Maybe they could use the pearls affection for each other somehow? Two gems in love wouldn't stop seeing each other, she had seen that Ruby and that Sapphire and they gave everything up for each other. "I need to call Yellow..." She said quietly and touched one of the screens while looking at her Pearl every now and then. "Yellow? I need to talk to you." She said and waited for the other Diamond's answer.

The agate continued to lay down lines on the Pearl's backside, and soon there was no more room for another mark. However, that was far from a mercy. Slightly angling the cane, the Agate brought it down across the first lash, intersecting the two with terrible effect. Yellow Diamond turned away from the spectacle as the received a communique from Blue. "Blue. What is it you need to speak to me about. If you must know, my Pearl is in the process of being punished. She will no longer trouble your court."

Over in the corner of Blue Diamond's control room, Blue Pearl could distinctly hear the sound of a cane impacting. She knew that Yellow Diamond would never stoop to punishing her own Pearl, and she came up with the image of Yellow bent over with a faceless Agate thrashing some sense into her naked form. The image saddened her, but also excited her in.... other ways. She felt bad that she was having to go through the same thing as Blue was, but she secretly longed to take the place of the Agate and create her own masterpiece of crossed lines on Yellow's rear.

Yellow cried out in pain, those strokes were so much worse and she felt her legs starting to tremble and her own body to shake. How could such a simple looking implement cause so much pain?! She noticed her Diamond talking to someone, but due to the pain she could barely focus on the words, but she didn't care righ now. She was probably just talking to Blue Diamond or some other high-ranking gem.

"Well, I've been thinking." Blue Diamond started. "And I don't think our Pearls will stop trying to see each other, so hear me out." She glanced at her pearl who was still in the corner, she was sure the smaller gem was listening to every word right now. "So how about we allow them to see each other in private every now and then? I'm sure it would increase their productivity and if they don't listen or see each longer than allowed we can still beat them afterwards. Or we could make them beat each other. What do you think?"

[Aymer]

Yellow leaned back in her chair and thought over the idea. The thought of rewarding her Pearl after she had so flagrantly disobeyed her in every way automatically provoked a negative response, but she couldn't argue with her fellow Diamond's logic. Mostly. "I don't know about your Pearl, but mine will certainly stop seeing yours from now on considering the thrashing she's receiving. But I do understand how their productivity may rise if they are given access to each other." The thought still left a bad taste in her mouth. But she knew that once Blue got an idea in her head, it was hard to change her course. "That could perhaps be arranged. It would be on an incredibly strict schedule, with constant supervision. But I would not be entirely opposed to the idea. Of course, considering the nature of their actions recently, this will not be happening any time in the near future. As for having them discipline each other..." Yellow Diamond thought of Blue's ample rear end squirming over her own lap, and her own being darkened by her fellow Diamond's hand. It was not an incentive to stay away from her. "...I will think about it."

Blue Pearl remained in perfect position while she listened to the conversation, and her heart fluttered. Sanctioned time with Yellow! Oh, the Diamonds truly were merciful and kind. She had never dreamed of such a privilege. Surely they were the luckiest Pearls in the whole of the empire. She would take the beating she had taken today a thousand times if it meant she could keep seeing Yellow.

When Yellow said that Yellow Pearl's thrashing would keep her from seeing her own Pearl, Blue Diamond rolled her eyes. "A thrashing never stopped... certain other gems from seeing each other." She said and obviously meant them. "We could at least try it, like letting them have their resting circles together or something like this - as long as their actual duties won't get neglected. "Thinking about it, that's all I want you to do. Tell me about your decision soon so that we can arrange something." A happy Pearl was also a Pearl who wouldn't dare to rebell against her Diamond.

The Diamond suddenly looked at her Pearl in the corner. "You would like some time with Yellow's Pearl, wouldn't you?" She asked. "Your punishment for seeing her behind my back is not finished yet though, maybe I decide to punish you more in front of her to show the two of you that seeing each other is a privilege, not a right."

[Aymer]

Yellow Diamond kept herself composed as Blue spoke, but internally she winced. She could very distinctly remember the day they had been caught by White, and the intervening cycles they had spent at her mercy. She could not argue with her fellow Diamond's comparison. "I will as soon as I have. Goodbye, Blue." She cut the connection and returned her attention to her own Pearl, who was still on the receiving end of the Agate's cane. "Agate, stop. Pearl, come here."

Blue nodded, keeping her eyes locked on the corner. "I would very much appreciate that, my most generous Diamond." She dreaded whatever punishment her Diamond could dream up next, and even more so if it was carried out in front of Yellow. "I will gladly accept whatever punishment you see fit, my Diamond. I understand that, if I am allowed to see Yellow Diamond's Pearl, it would be a great privilege that could at any time be removed."

Yellow Pearl struggled to get up at first, everything just hurt so damn much. "Y-Yes my Diamond!" The pathetically sobbing gem managed to say somehow before finally standing straight again. "I-I'm here, my Diamond..." She saluted while more tears were running down her face.

"Of course you will accept every punishment." Blue Diamond almost chuckled. "But out of curiosity... what would you do if had the chance to be entirely alone with Yellow's Pearl for let's say... a few hours?"

[Aymer]

Yellow Diamond appraised her sobbing, naked Pearl with cold eyes. She had been betrayed by the gem who spent the most time with her, and it infuriated the Diamond. But the pathetic thing before her had been well punished, even if she thought that she could go farther. "I am considering letting you spend your rest cycles with Blue Diamond's Pearl. Tell me all of the reasons why I shouldn't allow this."

Blue Pearl remained in the corner, somewhat surprised by the question. "I.. I am not sure, my Diamond. We have only ever been alone for fleeting moments. I do not know what we would do if we spent such a length of time together"

Yellow Pearl kept sobbing and didn't dare to break the salute. Despite the pain she almost smiled when Yellow Dimond told her about how she might be able to spend actual time with the other Pearl. "I... I broke the rules!" She whimpered. "By lying about my relationship with her. And by not being honest about making small stops so I can see her... I neglected my duties... I don't deserve this..."

"Then think about it." Blue Diamond demanded. "Because if I allow you to spend time together, then I want it to be worth it! So I ask you again, what would you like to do with her if I granted you the time?!"

[Aymer]

Yellow Diamond nodded. "Exactly. You have betrayed my trust, you have brought dishonor on this court. You certainly do not deserve such a reward for your treachery and incompetence." She looked over to the Agate. "You are dismissed." Silence reigned as the Agate hurriedly exited the chamber. "So if I allow you time with her, here is my demand. Perfection. When you are with me, there will be no lapses in judgement. There will be no absent mindedness. There will be no inefficiency. You will be the perfect Pearl that you were before... this."

A deep blush spread across Blue Pearl's cheeks as she thought about it. "I would probably... makes sure she was fine after her punishment. Assure her I was fine. Then I would probably... pull her over my knee... punish her for being careless and putting herself at risk. Then she would do the same with me...." The mere thought invigorated her.
