Steven's Second Chance (for French Polynesia)

(sorry for the short'ish post :S )



Steven couldn't help but giggle a bit at the banter of the three friends, but listened very closely when Mommy's two friends spoke of adopting someone themselves.
WHen they turned to him, though, he suddenly became nervous.


"I....I mean...", he said, "I....at first I...I didn't know what...what to think", he said, looking at the ground, "But...I mean...that changed quickly you know?", he finished quietly.

Lisa held her crying daughter in her arms and sitting on her lap, rocking her gently.

"I love you too, princess", she said softly. "Don't ever do something like that again, okay?", she continued, and now there were tears in her voice. Not uncontrollably crying, but that's because Lisa was as skilled an actress as her best friend was, and was good at keeping her own emotions at bay. "I....I couldn't bear the thought of something happening to you", she said and hugged Lily tighter.

She sat with her daughter like that for some ten minutes, being of the firm belief that cuddle time should be at least as long as cornertime, before she stood her up, and smiled.

"Now, let's get back to Aunt Denise, hm?", and taking her hand.

Denise smiled at his words, pulling him close to her lap. "He assimilated pretty quickly in my opinion. I was surprised how quickly he started seeing me as his mommy. It helps that he likes to snuggle, I'd recommend it with your boy." She gently kissed his cheek while Mal chuckled. "I guess. Though I doubt ours will like it as much. You are different, Steven probably had a crush on you, most men would kill to be in his position."

"Ooh, is that true, Steven? Did you have a crush on Denise Page?" Ashley teased.

Denise blushed. "Well, he's my baby now, I don't care." She hugged in tight while she saw Lisa and Lily coming in the background. Denise sighed, softly rubbing his bum, knowing what was to come.

Lily melted into her mother's arms, letting her hold her. She didn't know how long they stayed together, letting Lisa cuddle. The girls butt was throbbing and super red, she needed plenty of comfort which her mom provided. "I'll be good mama, no more naughty Lily." She said through tear strained eyes.

She nodded when she heard mommy hold her hand. "Mhmm. I wanna say sorry to Steven. That huuuurttts." She pouted, pointing at her bum. "Don't ever use the lotion, okay mommy? It's evil!" She whispered.

The two made their way to the beach where Lily rushed up to Steven, jumping to him and hugging him tightly. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, sowwy!" She cried. "You are right, it hurts the lotion. It's the worst."

Lisa smiled affectionately at Lily and held her close again.

"I don't know baby", she said softly. "I just might ask Aunt Denise where she gets that lotion. It seems to work very well.".
There was neither teasing, certainly not mocking in Lisa's voice. But she had been thouroughly impressed with the lotion's effects, and had indeed decided to ask Denise about it when they got back to the beach.

Steven blushed crimson at the rather awkward questions from Mommy's friends, and hugged her tightly in response as he felt her embrace as well.
He, too, noticed Lisa and Lily approaching, and he couldn't help but feel sympathy for Lily. She had discovered, he assumed, just how worse the lotion made a spanking. The answer, of course, was: "INFINITELY"


He was not prepared, however, for the hug he got when she threw herself in his arms, though he did return it and hugged her close too.

"I'm sorry too", he said softly as he held her. "And yes.....yes, there's nothing worse.", he agreed with her, then broke the embrace and smiled sadly. He knew what she'd been through. He knew, because he'd been through the same. And was about to again. He looked at Denise, smiled and hugged her one last time before he took a deep breath and headed back towards the hotel, knowing full well what Mommy intended, and decided to be dignified about it.


Or at least try, as he walked like a death row inmate on his way to "the chair", pun very much intended.

Lisa sniffled at the thought of her mom getting the lotion. "Can't you do something else?" She pleaded, but stopped seeing her expression.

Lily couldn't cringe/smile when he said there was nothing worse. Lily obviously wanted to speak to him at length about the punishment. When Mal and Ashley walked up to them, Lily took down her underwear and showed the redness. "Ouch, your mommy certainly did a number on you, didn't she?" They asked sympathetically and gave Steven a hug when he walked towards his mommy.

Denise held the boy tight, giving him a kiss. "I want to see you in the corner, sweetheart. Mommy will be there in a few minutes with a switch. What you did was unacceptable and you absolutely need to learn this lesson." She said softly before letting him go.

She turned to Lisa and smiled. "So, how was the lotion?" Before her friend could answer, Lily went and showed her her bum. "It's the woorrrssstt!" She sighed dramatically, clearly not getting her mom's subtle acting gene. "Hurts more than the switch mommy gave me, and that was the worst then. This is worster than the worstest spanking in the world."

Denise giggled at her expression, hugging her. "Well, Steven is going to be getting a switch on his bum right now, maybe he can tell you if there's something worser than the worst." She rubbed her hair before sighing, steeling herself. But Lily's eyes grew wider than the sun, the little girl holding on to Denise's leg. "you can't!! You'll kill Steven!!! He'll die, tell him mommy. No, won't let you!!" The girl kept an iron grip on her leg as Denise looked over to Lisa.
