Default Surprise Sibling {for Jade}

Little Crevan didn’t have any idea what had happened to his daddy, the man having never been a part of the child’s life but he was aware that apparently his mama was sick and couldn’t take care of him anymore. There was a woman that had said she was going to find someone to take care of him but the little guy wasn’t sure who exactly that someone was going to be. Crevan was like any other little boy with his large blue eyes that could already give pitiful looks with the best of them and unruly brown hair that appeared as though it hadn’t seen a comb for quite some time. There were however two key features that set him apart from others, that being the pair of large fox ears that poked out from the unruly strands of chestnut hair and the bushy fox tail that swished behind him and seemed to be in constant motion.

Currently the child was seated in the back of the social worker’s car, the boy strapped in and not the least bit happy about that one as he fought with the buckles in an attempt to free himself. The social worker, Ms. Pamela Wright, had already grown tired of telling him to stop so when she realized that he couldn’t seem to manage to get the buckle undone she just decided to ignore him and continue on her way, not paying attention to the fussing the child was doing in the back. Taking a slip of paper from the center console of the car she once again looked up the address that she had gotten, wondering if this was going to work out but that was just something that was going to have to remain to be seen.

Arriving at the house she pulled into the drive and got out of the car, walking around to the back and opening the door to collect her little charge, who was still fighting with the straps and getting decidedly frustrated. So much so that when she moved to take him out of the carseat he shoved at her hands and snapped, “Leave me alone!” He did want out of the car but at the same time he was mad at the social worker so he didn’t want her to get near him right now, the child pouting because he hadn’t been able to free himself.

George set aside the remainder off his paper work at his desk and ran a hand through his sleek black hair which was a little longer than short but not by much. The man fixed himself a coffee and sat down in pure bliss, all his paper work was done for the month, his bills were paid and he could just finally sit down and relax. At least he thought so.

Suddenly he heard a commotion from outside which sounded like a young kid arguing with a parent or something. George rolled his eyes, he was very against disrespect to elders and highly believed in spanking though he doubted that the person with the authority over the child believed in such. The man put down his coffee and went to the front door where he unlocked it and saw the scene over in his drive in.

"Hello there." he said politely and looked at her, "Is there something I can help you with?" he asked while frowning and looking over to the half fox kid with curiosity, "And you really shouldn't let him speak to you that way." he explained, "He might benefit from a quick smack over the knee, you know."

Pamela was not happy with the little boy that she was currently wrestling with though she did finally manage to extricate him from the car, right at about the same time a man came out of the house. She looked to him when he asked if there was something that she could help him with, the woman sort of startled to find out that he knew nothing about any of this. "I guess they neglected to call you," she said as she balanced the struggling child on her hip and looked at the man. "His mother gave us your name when we asked about next of kin... she said you're his older brother," Pamela told him, not responding to what the man said about not allowing Crevan to speak to her in such a manner since she had no authority to discipline the child. It was just her job to take care of him until she either arranged for his brother to assume custody or else found a foster home for him if the man didn't want to take on that responsibility.

Crevan shifted his blue eyes over to the man that was speaking, his ears flicking forward as he stared for a moment, trying to figure out who he was. He lost interest after a moment however and just went back to fighting with the social worker that was holding him. "Lemme down," he told her, pushing at her with his hands and almost succeeding in making her lose the grip she had on him.

"Crevan Alexander, stop that this instant," she scolded, using the child's first and middle name in an attempt to get his attention and get him to stop.

( how old is Crevan btw? )

George looked at the young fox boy, tempted to scold him but he refrained from doing so and instead watched as the social worker wrestled with the little boy with a unimpressed look on his face. Though that immediately turned to an incredulous expression when the woman stated that the feisty bundle was his brother. "Excuse me?" he asked, thinking he'd heard wrong, "I don't have any brothers or sisters....and I've never seen this little boy before in my life." he explained.

Though he did help the woman out and picked up the Fox child, holding him in a firm grip. "Either way, I guess I could care for the little mite..." he answered and looked at the woman. "Can I have the kid's details please?" he asked, tightening his hold on the kid as he squirmed. "Stop squirming, you're just going to make things worse for yourself young man." he scolded, looking down in to his - identical to his own - blue eyes.

(in the other RPs I used him for he was five but I can make him older if you want)

Pamela looked at the man when he said that he didn't have any brothers and sisters and she could tell that he didn't know anything about Crevan, which sort of made her job harder and she wasn't exactly happy about that one. Someone from social services was supposed to have called him but obviously they never did. "Well I'm sorry about that, it was just what I was told," she said when George said that he had never seen the child before in his life.

Crevan was a bit startled when the strange man came and picked him up, holding him much more firmly than the social worker had been. "Lemme go...you ish crushing me," he complained, pushing at George's chest in the attempt to get the man to put him down since he wanted to explore or really anything other than being held or locked in a car. Crevan pinned his ears when he was scolded by the man, a soft little growl escaping his lips as he said, "Lemme go an' won' squirms." He said it with an air of finality, as though he were the boss in this instance.

( No that's fine )

George frowned at the little kit as he gave him that demanding tone and he shook his head, "No, I'm not letting you go, Crevan." he answered and then looked at the social worker, "Well I have an unread phone message on my machine, that might be to do with this little guy." he said and shook his head, "Well thanks for dropping him off, I can take it from here." he explained and carried Crevan in to his home, locking the door and putting on the latch before he set the young man down.

"I'm George Crevan, and apparently I'm your older brother." he explained and lead him through to the kitchen, where the back door was also locked. "Are you hungry little guy?" he asked, looking down at him.

"That might explain it," the social worker said, nodding her head when he said that he could take it from there since she was more than happy to let him do just that. "Thank you very much sir, if you need anything you can call," she said, offering him one of her business cards and then getting back into her car to leave now that she had dropped Crevan off with his older brother.

Crevan was not happy that the man decided to refuse to put him down, the little boy continuing to squirm and he frowned as he was carried inside and the door was locked behind them. "Wants out," he said when he was placed on the floor and then lead to the kitchen. "Not hungries, wants out," he repeated when George asked if he was hungry, the child swishing his tail behind him.

"Well you're not getting out." George answered firmly and looked through his cupboards to see what he could give the young boy to eat. "How about fish fingers and chips?" he asked, looking down at Crevan with a questioning look on his face.

"Or we could watch some t.v. but I think I'll put you to bed at seven which is in two hours." George explained to the kit and took the fish fingers out of the freezer.

"Don' wanna eats," Crevan told him again, the child pouting at George when the man told him that he wasn't getting out. The little kit immediately went over to the door, jumping for the lock but he couldn't manage to reach it and that just frustrated him yet again. Looking around the little guy saw a chair that he thought might help, Crevan going over to it and starting to push it toward the door.

"No beds," he said in response to the whole bedtime thing, the little boy shaking his head and flicking his tail since he was not a fan of going to bed early. "Mama didn' makes me," he added for good measure.

George shook his head, "Your having some dinner whether you like it or not young man." he answered and went over to him as he made a reach for the lock. "And you're not getting out either." he said, picking him up and delivering a smack to his clothed bottom, "Start behaving right now little kit, or I'll put you to bed in ten minutes with a sore bottom." he warned and carried him in to the living room where he sat him down.

"How about I put a disney movie on for you to watch? What about Robin Hood?" he asked since the main character was a fox and the young boy might want to watch something like that, at least that's what George was thinking. "And yes you are going to bed at seven, you're going to do a lot of things you wont like the sound of."
