She was clearly infuriated by that but still went upstairs with her brother, the two drawing up plans of what they were going to do before gathering some supplies from there closet. This included: ropes, paint, feathers, syrup, hot glue, glitter, some balloons filled with mud, and a few other things the twins would use for various schemes.

Stephen was a bit curious at what the children were doing up stairs. Judging by the way they try to order him around it's likely they are planning some kind of prank on him. Not knowing what kind it would be he decides to remain downstairs and wait for one of them to come down so he could try to be a bit friendlier to them.
