Kyler smiled and nodded when Fury told him to play what he wished, settling down and beginning another soothing song just because he liked those and it seemed fitting for an atmosphere like this, plus he could tell just looking at Fury that he liked it and that made Kyler happy since this was really the first time that he had seen Fury relaxing like this and acting like a normal person instead of the coldly angry and semi-violent guy that Kyler usually saw--thought that was likely partly his fault for being difficult. So he played for a time but when Fury siad it was time to go he really didn't want to let go of the lyre so he cradled it in his arms and asked if he could take it with them, actually expecting to be told no so he was surprised when Fury said that he could and he smiled again before standing and following Fury out of the room, also not bothering to dress but it was more because he didn't have anything to wear, the pair of pants that Fury gave him a few days ago had been pretty much ruined during his punishment and had been sent to the washer women but apparently they didn't think it was important to wash a slaves things quickly since it hadn't been returned. When they got back to Fury's room he took a seat on the cushions in the corner like he always did, expecting to be stuck here a while, then looked over at Fury as the younger man asked if he'd like to go for a walk or a horseback ride and he perked up at the second one, thinking that meant that they'd be going beyond the walls and he'd get to see more of Illyria. "I would enjoy riding if you would like the company" He answered, setting the Lyre aside somewhere it wouldn't be broken and standing again, not bothering to cover himself so Fury would get a good look at him if he wanted to, Kyler had more or less gotten over his aversion of being naked around Fury after hte couple days that Fury spent taking care of him.

It was true that music really did soothe the savage beast and that was made evident by the calm and almost serene look that came across Fury's face as he listened to Kyler play, the younger prince not making any requests and instead giving Kyler leave to play whatever he wished. For a time the Illyrian prince simply lounged in the water and listened to the music but after his skin started to wrinkle he decided that it was time to get out of the bath, Fury doing so and telling Kyler that it was time to go back. He watched as Kyler cradled the lyre to his chest as though it were a precious treasure and when he was asked if the slave could take it with him Fury thought about that for a time before he gave his permission. It was a simple enough request to grant and he could tell that it made Kyler happy, which oddly enough pleased him. Fury led the way back to his room and then he started rummaging for clothes, asking Kyler if he would like to go for a walk or a horseback ride and when Kyler said that he would enjoy riding Fury nodded. Selecting an outfit that was black accented with silver, which complimented his coloring well, Fury dressed and then he scrounged around and found clothes for Kyler, tossing them to the older male without a word. Fury waited for Kyler to dress and then he gave his pet a serious look as he said, "I'm going to trust you to keep your word and not try to run but be warned, this is the only chance that you're going to get. If you blow it then you will regret it." His voice was low and calm but his tone spoke volumes of just how serious he was about this and Fury really would not be the least bit happy if Kyler took advantage of this and tried yet another escape attempt. He didn't think that the older prince would since he had given his word but Fury felt that he needed to give fair warning just in case Kyler had any fleeting thoughts of going back on his word.

Kyler was somewhat amused by the effect his music was having on Fury and he made a mental note to play the lyre next time that Fury looked pissy or stressed in the hope that it might calm him and make him less likely to be angry over any tiny mistake that Kyler might make. He put that thought aside for the moment though and just followed Fury back to his room once the younger prince decided that they were going and he would've quietly sat on his cushions and not bothered Fury had the younger prince had something he needed to do but when Fury suggested they go for a ride he was quick to say he'd like that, thinking it would be nice to go outside again after being cooped up for a few days. He stood and caught the clothes Fury tossed to him, getting dressed quickly and marveling at how it didn't hurt for once even though he had some faint welts still the majority of those were on his back since it had gotten more lashes than his butt or thighs. He looked over at Fury again and was surprised by the serious look that was being leveled at him and he flicked his ears back submissively when Fury threatened him, shuddering a little at that and nodding to show he understood. There was no way in hell he was going to risk another serious punishment like the one he'd gotten a few days ago, and especially not days afterwards when the memory of the pain was still fresh and horrifying for him. "I'm a man of my word, I'm not going anywhere." He said, his voice sounding a little indignant as he said it, not trying to be a brat just offended by the implication that he would go back on his word since he did have honor and pride so he just wouldn't do something like that and he thought Fury should know that. After that he just waited slightly impatiently to be lead out to Fury's stable, his tail flicking a bit to give away the fact that he was eager to get going but aside from that he didnt' do anything else that he thought Fury might get angry with him over.

Fury wasn't one to be cooped up for long periods of time either so after bathing and enjoying the soothing music that Kyler had been playing the younger prince decided that it was a good time to get some fresh air. So he asked Kyler which he would rather do, go for a walk or a rie, and when the older prince made his choice Fury tossed him some clothes before issuing what he considered to be a fair warning. It wasn't really that Fury thought he would go back on his word but more that he felt it was only right that he give his pet fair warning of what the consequences would be should he make that unlikely choice. When Kyler said that he was a man of his word and wasn't going to run Fury picked up on the indignant tone and his ears went back a slight degree as he said, "Fair warning, that's all that was." He was thinking that he was going to have to train his pet to call him master but that was a fight he was going to leave for after their ride, a reprieve of sorts. Once they were both dressed and ready to go Fury led the way to the stables where the stablehands were quick to prepare his stallion while others tacked up a horse for Kyler. Once both animals were ready Fury leapt lightly into the saddle and then turned to face Kyler as he said, "We're going to leave the palace grounds and ride in the forest adjacent to the city." Not that he expected Kyler to much care where they were going but he told the older man anyway, guiding his horse out of the stable and then waiting for Kyler to join him before he would lead the way out. He wasn't wary of taking his new pet outside the palace gates, though many in his case would be, Fury trusting that the lesson he had taught the younger man a few days prior would still be fresh in his mind. And of course he was an excellent tracker so on the off chance that Kyler did decide to attempt to give him the slip he would find the other kitsune, of that he was confident to the point of being arrogant. Even so he wasn't expecting trouble as he led the way out of the palace gates and in the direction of the forest of which he had spoken.

Kyler didn't really need the warning that Fury issued to him, he had learned very well just what happened to him when he tried to run off or otherwise anger Fury so he was not eager for a repeat. So he took Fury's words the wrong way and indignantly announced that he wasn't going to break his word and of course he noticed Fury's ears going back and that made his own flick back too in a slight show of submission since he wasn't trying to anger the younger prince yet again and he didn't dare to challenge him either. He listened as Fury told him it was fair warning and nodded but chose not to say anything, though if he'd known the thoughts going through Fury's head then he likely would have had quite a lot to say, and none of it acceptable. Luckily for him Fury decided to give him a reprieve and he just followed the other fox out to the stables where he asked for a spirited horse to ride and one was lead out to him that was just a bit shorter than Fury's but not as broad since it was not a warhorse it was a sporthorse. It worked for Kyler though and he mounted the animal when Fury did, looking over at the other as he was told where they were going and nodded. "Are we going to be able to see the city from there?" he asked, curious about Illyria and he would be a bit disappointed if he didn't at least get to see it from a distance during this ride but he would keep that to himself too. After that he kicked his horse into trot beside Fury's, not making any effort to have his animal pull ahead and not even considering it as an option so Fury's thoughts on having to find him if he ran were in vain. Kyler had given hsi word and he was going to stay until Fury told him to go, and if that never happened then it never happened. For now he just tried to enjoy what little pleasures he was still allowed to have so even though he felt as if he were being treated like some sort of criminal or something he tried to just enjoy being outside and smiled a little as they rode and the breeze brushed through his long hair, the young man looking around at the scenery just for the beauty of it he wasn't attempting to memorize his surroundings--though that probably would have been the smart thing to do in his situation.

Fury's stallion had already been brought to him when Kyler asked for his own mount and when the stablehand turned to him for confirmation the younger prince nodded his head ever so slightly, giving his permission for them to grant that request else they would not have paid any heed to what the older prince had to say. Once he was in the saddle Fury explained what they were going to do and when Kyler asked if they would be able to see the city he nodded his head and said, "There is a cliff that I can take you to that has a magnificent view of the city." He often went there himself when he wanted to reflect on things and think without threat of being disturbed, Fury having no fear of traveling alone despite that it wasn't something that was typical for one of his station given the possibility of assassins and the like. Fury had enough training that the risk was minimal so he didn't take guards with him on his outings. After saying this Fury led the way out and was quick to lead the way toward the trail that he planned for them to ride down, the younger prince leading the way and occasionally looking back at Kyler to see how he was reacting to the scenery. It took them the better part of an hour to reach the cliff that he was referring to earlier, Fury directing his stallion to the edge and gazing out at the capitol city of his kingdom, or what would eventually be his kingdom. His violet eye shifted to Kyler at this point as he asked, "Is this a good enough view for you Pet?" The question was casual, merely a passing curiosity since Kyler had been the one that had wanted a view of the city so that was what Fury had provided him with.

Kyler knew that there was no way the servants would get him the horse he asked for if Fury wasn't there to approve it, but since the prince was he asked for what he wanted and expected them to comply, not seeing Fury nod at them but it wouldn't have bothered him. He knew how this whole thing worked even if he wasn't happy about it. Once his horse was brought he mounted it and asked if he'd have a view of the city and he nodded when Fury answered getting a somewhat excited look on his face since he really did love studying places he wasn't familiar with and he wanted to see it. He rose beside Fury on the way up, just looking around with a pleased look on his face and speaking to Fury if the younger prince initiated it but otherwise keeping quiet. When they got up to the cliff he was startled to see how normal Illyria looked, from this distance it could have been Morasia. He wasn't sure why that startled him, but for some reason he thought there would be some huge difference between his and Fury's homes as if some physical mark could show him why Illyria was so disliked by Morasia. He was pulled out of these thoughts when Fury looked over at him and asked if it was a good enough view and he nodded, "It's a great view" he answered softly, his mind elsewhere and he looked back at Illyria with a puzzled look on his face for a few moments before shaking it off. "Would you like to race?" he asked then, wanting to change the topic and do something fun since all they'd done today was ride slowly and enjoy the scenery and while that was nice he thought it would be fun to do something more exciting.

Fury liked to go out for rides just because, being a creature that preferred the outside even if he was often cooped up inside the palace because of matters that required his attention, so he was more than willing to take Kyler to a place where he could see the entire city. The younger prince kept his horse at a trot and he was silent as he led the way to the cliff that he had told his new pet about, asking if the view was good enough once they arrived. His violet eye remained locked on the other and he thought that Kyler seemed a bit distracted by something or another but he wasn't sure what exactly it was that was on the older male's mind. He could have asked or even demanded to know but he refrained from doing that and instead just shifted his gaze to stare out at his kingdom, which really was quite impressive to behold from this vantage point. He nodded when Kyler said that it was a great view, having already guessed that the other thought that even before he asked the question. Fury was himself distracted up until the point when Kyler asked him if he wanted to race and that got his attention, the silver fox's ears pricking forward as he briefly debated that question before he nodded his head. "We can race if you wish but you may end up humiliated," Fury told him with a bit of an arrogant smirk on his face. His left ear twitched forward and back in rhythm with the swishing of the tip of his tail, Fury actually liking the idea since he didn't really have anyone to play around with. It wasn't exactly dignified, strictly speaking, but strictly speaking Fury didn't really much are. Turning his horse he nudged the animal until he was lined up with Kyler's horse, the silver fox looking over at his pet as he said, "Give the signal when you're ready." He could have done it himself but he wanted there to be no doubt that he'd won fair and square when he beat the other male, Fury of course arrogantly thinking that there was no way that he was going to lose.

Kyler was a bit of a philosopher at heart, so his mind tended to process things differently than other people and in this instance that lead to him making a rather strange observation when he saw Illyria and wondered why it didn't look distorted or otherwise 'wrong'. He didn't really want to think about that though, so he just shook it off and asked Fury if he wanted to race and his ears pricked forward when he saw that actually got Fury to look happy and even a little bit excited, which he was of course happy about since it was hard to get that reaction out of Fury and he liked it. He laughed lightly, a rather melodic sound when he was actually relaxed enough to laugh for real, "You may be disappointed on that one" He said, rising to the challenge of sorts before waiting while Fury lined his horse up. When Fury told him to give the signal he nodded and raised his arm, bringing it down and then kicking his horse into a run and bolting down the hill. It was rather dangerous to race down a hill but he was a good rider so he wasn't worried about messing up the balance. When they reached the bottom of hte hill he pulled hte horse up and looked to see who had won and to see if Fury seemed to have enjoyed the ride. "Are we heading back now?" He asked, leaving it up to Fury since he was more than happy to ride longer if Fury wanted but he knew how busy hsi elder brother had been as the crown prince and Fury had it worse since he was in charge while the king was away. When they got back to the castle he handed his horse over and obediently followed Fury back into the castle and up to his bedroom, wandering over to his pillows and picking up the lyre but he didn't play it he just tuned it carefully since it had been slightly off earlier and he'd just adjusted while he played to make the music sound right but he wanted it tuned so he wouldnt' have to do that next time. He was trying to stay out of the way since he was assuming that Fury had work to do, and he was still attempting to stay out of trouble though if Fury acted on his earlier thought of training him to call the other prince Master then that resolution was likely to go right out the window.

The occasions where he was able to completely cut loose and act as a youth of eighteen typically would were few and far between so when Kyler suggested a race the silver fox was all for it. Of course he was an arrogant thing, as could be expected of one of his station, so he told Kyler in no uncertain terms that he was going to lose and when the older male said that he might be disappointed he shook his head and said, "Not likely." Of course part of that confidence was just his natural arrogance but part of it was also the fact that he knew he had the superior horse so Fury was completely confident in his words. At that point he lined his horse up with the one that Kyler was riding and then told the older male to give the signal, Fury getting an intense look in his single violet eye as he waited for the signal. The instant that he got it Fury gave his horse free rein as well as the signal to gallop, not needing to kick the stallion to get the desired result. Fury felt the adrenaline flowing through his veins as he and Kyler raced down the trail at breakneck speeds, the crown prince not even giving any thought to the inherent danger. He was a bit out of breath when they reached the bottom of the hill but he was the winner of the race and that caused him to look over at Kyler with a smug expression on his face. When Kyler asked if they were heading back he nodded his head and said, "Probably should, I have things that need to be attended to." Fury sounded sort of resigned as he said that, the crown prince turning his horse to head back to the palace and once they were there he tended to his stallion himself and then lead the way back inside. HE watched as Kyler went back to the pillows that he had more or less claimed as his and started to tune the lyre, Fury thinking about something for a moment before he said, "You've been avoiding calling me anything since you arrived here and I think it's time we changed that. From now on you will refer to me as Master." His tone was dead serious as he said this, Fury giving Kyler a look that promised he wouldn't like the consequences should he decide to balk on this one. Fury knew that it would be hard for the other prince to swallow his pride and refer to him in such a manner but he didn't really care. He was Kyler's master and he was determined that he would be addressed as such.
