Titan Academy (With MR AZ)
Titan Academy: the top military and research academy in the Queendom of Olym. There are rumors of war on the horizon...and the fate of all nations may rest on the shoulders of the future leaders and warriors in these hollowed halls
Derek Videllus
Age: 22
Height: 6' 1
Weight: 205
Build: Tall and strong with broad shoulders, but gentle eyes. A powerful young man from a lineage of warriors and a big family. Used to being in a position of authority, though for a good reason. He's a talented healer and fighter. He has a bit of bad blood with his father as Derek has sworn to never kill, and
defies a lot of military tradition. He has disciplined younger siblings in the past, and isn't at all afraid to punish those who need it. Is very protective, but trusting of his girlfriend Haru. Is friendly at heart but has a very serious demeanor and can be strict with underclassmen. He is secretly quite the cuddlebug. Has issues with authority.
Talents: Healing/Melee/Research
---
Haru Makai
Age: 21
Height: 5'6
Weight 125
Build: A cute girl with jet black hair and a warm smile, and a love for competition. Loves a good challenge, but is generally rather easy going and doesn't get upset easily. Specializes in speed and martial arts, dabbling in a variety of magic, mostly offensive types. Holds herself to a high standard due in part to coming from a poor family, unlike her boyfriend Derek. Absolutely hates getting spanked...by anyone but Derek, in which case she adores every moment. Finds the trust and love involved in spanking amazing, and likes testing the limits of how much punishment she can take.
Talents: Speed/Martial Arts/Black Magic
------------
"So where is this kiddo?" yawned Haru, stretching out sleepily and scratching her back. She wore her usual lazy attire: a white undershirt and buttoned overshirt (one Derek's old ones), a formal plaided skirt...over her denim pants. She usually threw on whatever was available. Her priority was not appearance.
The tall boy sat with his arms folded, a serious demeanor on his face. He was quit a bit more formally dressed than his love, with a white military jacket and silk pants covering his powerful form. He gave the girl a slight smile. "She's not that late, Haru," he said calmly.
Haru sighed and wandered over to him, sitting on his lap casually. "Meh, I'm not like you, Derek. I don't always get a bunch of little ones to boss around to boost my ego. I'm looking forward to this," she said playfully, brushing her long hair out of her eyes and gazing up at him with a cat-like grin. "Think I'll be a good big sis?"
The young man blushed just a bit and held the small of her back. "Now now," he said gently. He looked in the direction of the door to the study room, hearing footsteps outside.

A rather tomboyish looking girl knocked on the door, she was dressed on dark pants, iron toe boots, a button up shirt, under a rough looking gray blue jacket, she wore an utility belt around her waist, some dark rough use gloves. She was carrying a sturdy looking backpack. This kid, who looked quite young even when she was 18 years old already, seemed to be not really at ease, she rubbed her forehead with the back of her glove and waited for permission to go in, her face was scarred with one like that went from her cheek to the bridge of her nose and there were eye bags under her eyes, prof that she had not sleeping well the last days, or weeks.
Her name was Hunter, and was an Alchemy, research, melee talented student, she had yet to fail any subject and was always studying hard, so she really didn't understand why she had been sent here after she had passed out on the way to her bedroom the other night, she had not broken any rule as far as she knew. Her heterochromatic gaze, for she had one blue eye and one hazel one, shifted to the door... She really had not broken any rule.
Anyway, she waited until being granted permission to enter and went in hesitant, saluting, as she was to do, at the two elder cadets she saw there, putting herself at their orders.

"Ooo, about time," chimed Haru springing up from Derek's lap and starting for the door before the boy rested a hand on her shoulder. "Promise me you won't scare the kid, okay?"
Haru stuck her tongue out. "I was gonna be nice, dude..."
Derek opened the door to the exhausted girl, gazing at her quietly until nodding and telling her to come in. She was quite a shocking sight. He exchanged a worried glance with his girlfriend, who shrugged and casually scooted a chair behind the kid, almost forcing her to sit. She skipped straight to introductions, standing tall in front of the girl. "Yo, I'm Haru and this big guy is Derek. We're your big sis and bro," she said warmly, extending a hand. "Nice to meet ya!"
The man massaged his brow and closed his eyes. "No need to be so formal with her, Haru," he groaned. He gave the tomboy a calm but stern look. "I'm Derek. You're Hunter, yes?"

Hunter stood saluting waiting for her order to be at ease when the girl came, even when tired she was still formal about this, well, tried, until she felt a chair being pushed back from behind her and nearly made her sit out of losing her balance, she glanced at the girl who immediately began introducing herself, confusing the younger cadet quite a lot, who, if well had stopped saluting, was now standing at attention and looking at the girl who Derek called Haru.
She shifted her attention to the man and bowed slightly as her name was mentioned. "Yes, Sir" She whispered like she would answer to anyone who was higher in rank than her. She did not ask anything more as it was not in her position.

Haru scratched her chin thoughtfully and patted Derek's head. "She's pretty serious, D. I guess we're so important we demand respect," she mused, shooting the younger girl a kind look.
The young man sighed and chuckled a bit. "You're probably scaring her you freak," he teased under his breath. The man stood up and studied his underclassmen for a moment, noting the distinct scar on her face...but more to his concern, the bags under her colorful eyes. The report was certainly true; this girl didn't know the meaning of pacing. He got closer to Hunter and scratched his gruff neck. "We were assigned to help you through the academy. The professor said you were very dedicated and hardworking...but to the point that you've exhausted yourself. The Nurse has informed us of the incident you had on the way to your dorm," he stated in a rather deep tone. "Why are you pushing yourself so much, Hunter?" he asked bluntly, both he and Haru looking at the girl calmly.

The girl was now quite confused, she did not get what was going on or why they were being so informal, they were the one of the greater rank, they were to have respect so why was her attitude so strange to them?
The man known as Derek came to her and he examined her, for which she tensed more, looking ahead and not to him, just like she was to do when examination from a higher rank. Then he came closer and began to explain. Help? Hadn't she doing well enough?
His question reached her ears and she looked down slightly. "It's what I have to do, sir, I do not wish to fail nor to be expelled, I thought I had been doing a good job, I'm sorry that this was called upon you, I did not mean to perturb anyone, sir"

"Oh god the formality, it burns!" Haru groaned theatrically, collapsing over a table. She pretended to convulse with pain and rolled on to the floor dramatically, slowly crawling to her boyfriend's feet.
"We could without the theatrics, Haru," Derek stated with a straight face, surprisingly accustomed to these antics.
The girl reached his feet and clutched on to his pant legs. "I wasn't ready for the responsibility, Derek! I'm so...so sorry, go on without me!" she said before falling on the floor with a moan and a muffled laugh.
Derek sighed. "She trying to get you to laugh," he said bluntly.

Hunter looked at the girl confused, what was she doing? no, really, what was an upperclassmen doing rolling on the floor and moaning??? The girl was totally and utterly confused, but she didn't let this show, instead she kept looking ahead and nodding as Derek spoke. "I understand, sir, I...I think" She muttered and stood straighter. "Sir, if I may speak, I apologize for this, it was really not my aim to bother you, it was the contrary, I was trying not to bother anyone, the fainting was not grave and my grades are not slipping, sir" She explained with a respectful nod to him, for such a runt-ish, messy haired and short-ish kid this girl was quite formal and business-like, she didn't seem to get the meaning of fun or relax.

Haru looked up from the floor with a grim expression blowing her silk bangs out of her face. "Wow...issues," she said, doing a quick handstand flipping to her feet rather impressively. She rested her hands on her hips and and studied the girl. "Sorry if I put ya off. Just trying to break the tension. You didn't really...break any rules or anything...." she said sheepishly, looking at Derek. "I dunno how to scold people, halp."
The boy laughed openly and folded his arms. "Such a good big sis," he mused, earning a raspberry from his love. He pulled up a chair next to Hunter and sat down. "Listen kid...you're very talented. You're doing good work and your ahead of the class. You don't need to work as much as you are. You physically can't. You passed out from sheer exhaustion. What if it was worse? What if you got sick? If you were in a combat situation do you think working yourself to a coma is benificial?" he said, flat out lecturing the girl, though in a calm manner. Haru simply looked on, impressed by his skills. He was a big brother alright...

The girl didn't know how to deal with Haru beyond just observing her respectfully and not knowing what this was about, her intention was to keep being good on her studies, not to bother the upperclassmen so she just got more and more confused here, because of what was happening and because of Haru's antics.
She looked at Derek briefly when he laughed, understanding less and less, big sister? Why were they saying that? She observed him as he began to speak and lowered her gaze at his last words.
"I'm sorry, sir, but I was just trying to accomplish my duties" She said, the teachers left a lot of homework and were exigent so she was trying to live up to their expectations and the greater they were, the more she worked the greater they become. "I know that in battle this wouldn't be a good strategy, sir, but it's the best I can do right now, I need to fulfill what they ask of me in order not to fail and be able to graduate in time, I do not wish to disobey anyone, sir. And with all due respect, sir, I am not dying, I think that as long as I don't die I can give as much as I can to this if they demand me that. That said, I assure you it was not my intention to bother you at all."
