Takashi chuckled "Well that's fine, I'll make something healthy to balance it out. Anything you want in particular?" he asked as they walked in the kitchen. "My mother taught me everything she knew about cooking... and boy did she make sure I remembered everything before moving out."

Takashi chuckled at the mentioning of pickles. "I think we can do better than that." he sticks his head in the refrigerator and looks to see what there was. Surprisingly there was plenty of food stocked up for them. "Heh I guess you're mother really doesn't want us eating junk food." he chuckled. He pulled out a head of cabbage, a single celery stalk, Tofu and some pickles like she wanted. "I'll make a cabbage salad and add some pickles." he decided.

Yuki followed him into the kitchen and began to prep the croquettes before frying. "You're creative! I'm lucky to have a good cook at home with me. Normally I just eat leftovers that Mom makes..."

"Well I'll be happy to teach you." he said as started cutting up the cabbage and Celery. He then boiled the cabbage shortly then fried the tofu before putting it all together, adding soy dressing to finish it up.

"Oh wow," Yuki smiled. "That looks amazing!" she said as she dropped her now prepared croquettes into the pan. They crackled and popped in the hot oil.

Takashi joined her over the stove and wrapped an arm around her, planting a kiss on her cheek. "Thanks, those are looking good already. I can't remember the last time I had croquettes. I can't wait to taste them."
