Legolas pouted. He knew it wasn't nice to take another's toys, but he had wanted to use the soldier, and Elrohir always had it!
"Ada, I wanted to use the toy, and Elrohir would not let me!"

"And we began fighting."

Thranduil raised a brow, tilting his son's head up. "Did you ask Elrohir if you could use the toy ion nin?" He asked, voice stern. Legolas needed to learn how to share with other children.

Elrond nodded, and patted their backs.
"Peace, little ones. Elladan, did you hit your brother and Legolas?"

Legolas bit his lip, and looked down. He knew he couldn't lie to his ada, however much he may want to. Instead, he remained silent.

Elladan pouted, crossing his arms. "Legolas hit me first! And Elrohir hit me too!" He whined, stomping his foot in upset.
"I did not!"
"Did so!"
"Liar!"
"Orc!"

Thranduil raised a brow, giving Legolas a light smack on the bottom. "The truth. Now." He said firmly, voice dark.

Elrond landed a light swat to each bottom.
"Do not call each other names," he said, sternly.
"You both know better then to fight, and hit one another, is that not so?"

With a soft yelp, Legolas gave his ada a pout.
"I wanted to play with it, Ada," he said.

Both twins yelped loudly, pouting and rubbing their sore little bottoms. "Yes Sir."
"Yes Ada." They chorused, glaring at one another.

Thranduil raised a brow, shaking his head. "Yes, but you should have asked Elrohir if you could do so instead of snatching the toy. Come Legolas, i think we need to have a talk."

"I have told you both about fighting," he said, firmly.

Legolas immediately pouted, tears filling his eyes.
"No, Ada! I am sorry!" he wailed.

The twins whimpered, not liking where this was going in the slightest. "Ada! Ada no!"
"We are sorry!"
"Very sorry!"
"Most sorry!"

Thranduil forced himself to ignore the tears and wails, picking his son up and heading to their chambers. He sat down, standing Legolas before him. "Bare your bottom ion nin."

Elrond shook his head, frimly. He did not like to hear their pleading, but he knew he needed to punish them.
"Hush, little ones. You know better then to fight," he said, taking their hands. He carried them to the Chair.

Legolas moaned, and shook his head.
"Ada, please, no! I am sorry! I will share!"

Elladan and Elrohir wailed as they were carried over to the Chair, squirming and doing their best to get away from their ada.
"No Ada! We will not fight!"
"No more fighting!"

Thranduil held Legolas' gaze sternly, moving to undo the braces himself. "I know you are sorry ion nin, but that does not excuse your fighting with the twins and how mean you were to Elrohir."
