Troublesome Elvlings

Elrond winced.
"I was forced to use it a few weeks ago. I found them trying to get into the armory, after some arrows and bows."

Legolas laughed, and followed.

Erestor nodded.
"Yes, Sadron. Will you do so again?"

Thranduil placed a hand on Elrond's shoulder and smiled sadly. "It was for the best my Friend...the armory is no place for elflings. I hope I never catch Legolas doing the same."

They soon all collapsed on the hill, tired from their play. "I want a snack." Elrohir announced, sitting up and dragging his playmates along with him. On the way, they ran into Ala who crossed her arms in dislike. "What are you three doing here?"

"NO! P-Promise!" He cried and went limp over Erestor's knee, kicking weakly.

Erestor stopped spanking and pulled the elfing into his arms, whispering soothing nothings into his ear.

Elrond nodded.
"Yes, it was. Come, I wish to bathe before dinner."

Legolas frowned up at her. He knew they were all dirty from their play, and he from his fight.
"We are just getting a snack, Ala," he said, petulantly.

Sadron sobbed into Erestor's chest, hugging him tightly and whimpering softly. "Sorry! Big sorry!"

Thranduil agreed, following his friend to the small private bath Elrond and he often used. "I agree. I am covered with dust...and various other articles."

"In my kitchen? Looking like little waifs? No." She shooed them out, scowling. "Foul little ones you are!"The twins frowned and looked ready to attack, when Elladan paused and smiled evilly. "Come my friends...we will find something else to do."

Legolas pouted but followed his friends, pausing only to shoot her a dirty look.

Elrond eased off his robe.
"I do not wish to contemplate what is on our clothing."

Erestor rocked him.
"Hush, little one. I've got you. You are safe, and so brave, and good."

Elladan turned and grinned at Elrohir and Legolas. "I say we pull a prank on her for being so mean to us all the time!"
"Yes! It will be hilarious!" Elrohir nodded.

"I do not either." Thranduil stripped quickly and slid into the heated water, sighing in contentment as he washed away the struggles of the day. "This is nice..."

Sadron slowly calmed, slipping into a easy sleep as he was exhausted from the long day. "Love..you..." He muttered softly.

Erestor smiled, his heart soaring.
"I love you too, little ion."

Legolas nodded, eagerly.
"Lets! Let's get the buckets and fill them with dye from the dye houses!"

Elrond nodded, sliding into the water.
"Oh, yes it is," he moaned a little.

Thranduil closed his eyes and let his muscles soak for a good while, before using some scented soap to scrub his skin and found oils for his hair. "This was much needed."

Sadron smiled sleepily and dozed, content to hold Erestor for the duration of his nap.

"Let's use blue! It is the hardest to remove." Elrohir suggested, and Elladan nodded. "Come! We must hurry!" They all flashed off, to seek revenge.

Legolas nodded and they ran, quickly.

Elrond nodded, smoothing soap through his dark hair.
"Yes, it was," he said.

Erestor held the elfling, rocking slowly.

Thranduil finished bathing, standing up and fetching a towel to dry himself off with. He patted the water of his skin before turning his attention to his hair. "I wonder what those three imps have gotten up to."

Elladan found the dye while the others collected water. Once in place, they waited for Ala and the maids to walk through, and SPLASH! Screams were heard throughout the palace as clothing, skin, and hair were dyed bright blue. The three ran away laughing.
