Bennett folded his arms across his chest and shook his head, "He really needs to sort out his priorities." he sighed and then after grabbing one large swig of dragon blood, he headed back to his comfy manor, maybe not having James around wouldn't be so bad.

He relaxed in his big recliner chair and entertained himself with a book, as he finished the large book and looked up at the clock, he saw it was 3:55am, James had just five minutes to get home on time.

James glanced at the village square's clock, blue eyes widening as he realized his time was running out. Rather than repeat last night, he'd much rather like to sleep without a sore bottom…

The fledgling said his goodbyes, heading out of the town only to bump into..

"James is it?"

Prissy.

"Uh..yeah. You're uh..Sammuel?"

The other fledgling stared bemused at James, tilting his blond head to the side. His grey eyes seemed to gaze straight into the fifteen year old's soul. "Yes, Sammuel. I suppose I caught you at a bad time, you should be running home before 'daddy' has a word with you."

Ugh, really? James narrowed his eyes at the other lad, who looked about seventeen. Either way, he was a fledgling, who probably had the same set of rules he did! Why did he have to cut in and make things worse for him? However, James held a bit of a temper, and the vampire found himself speaking before thinking.

"Actually, I don't have to do anything. I'm not a baby."

"Is that so?"

"Very much so. "

"Then..you wouldn't object to a bit of a game now would you?"

James blinked his cerulean eyes, wondering just what on Earth that would entail. "What kind of game?"

Prissy tilted his head towards a human girl heading into her home. "Since you're not a baby like you say, I dare you to drink from that human."

James froze on the spot. How did he always end up in these messes!? He thanked the good Lord he were full, talking to the humans grew increasingly difficult without noticing their delicious, pulsating necks. But he couldn't drink from them…he'd truly be a monster. Sammuel must've noticed how quiet he became, and the other fledgling chuckled mockingly.

"Just as I thought. You couldn't handle that. You better run on home before--"

The town square clock began to sound, indicating what time it was.

"Whoops."

Oh Great..

Just as Sammuel was about to leave, James shoved the other vampire roughly. "You did that on purpose! You stalled me on purpose!"

Sammuel looked surprised the other actually had the gall to fight him, but he didn't complain. Instead, the two fledglings ended up tussling in the street, fangs bared and fists flying.

Bennett looked down at his pocket watch as he made his way into the kitchen to fix himself a vile of sweet mouse blood, it was sort of the equivalence to alcohol, not a lot though. It was already 4:05am. He'd give James another ten minutes to get his sorry backside home before he went out looking for him.

The elder Vampire who had been at the hunt, broke up the two boys immediately. Also with him was Sammual's master, who looked less than pleased.

"Sammuel Bucksworth! You get your sorry backside home this moment, and fetch me my riding crop!" he snapped, grabbing the boy by the ear as he dragged him home.

James had just been effectively pinned by the taller fledgling when Sammuel's body seemingly froze. The boy had been expecting a punch, so he couldn't help but blink when it never came. Glancing at the reason why the prissier vampire stopped, James also lay in awe. The fight was broken up just as quickly as it started, and James couldn't help but watch in sadistic glee as his rival was dragged away from him. The other looked quite uncomfortable, and the fledgling offered him a mock-wave goodbye. The expression on Sammuel's face seemed to read that this was far from over.

However...

Nothing changed the fact he were late! Again.

James immediately ran through the woods, panting in slight exhaustion as he reached the manor's door. He practically shoved it open, closing it shut behind him.

As soon as the door burst open, Bennett looked up to the clock seeing it was 4:30am and that meant that James was going to bed that morning with a very sore bum indeed. He walked hastenly over to the door and frowned.

He had the look of an angry father on his face, "You're late." he stated, his tone firm but calm. "Bare your bottom and go straight to the drawing room."

The boy collapsed against the marble floor, leaning against the door frame. He had met it in time before the sunlight could reach him, but that also meant Bennett would not be pleased. James glanced up as the elder vampire's silhouette graced his presence.

"W-wait! Sir, it wasn't my fault really! That stupid vampire had me cornered and..and he distracted me!" Okay, so that sounded like an awful excuse. James paused to think of a better one as he rose on his feet, eyes wide and frantic.

"You can't honestly be mad..not after the great job I did tonight!"

Bennett frowned impatiently and grabbed a hold of James, twirling him round, pulling down his slack pants and his undies, giving him ten very hard smacks across his bare bum. "I said," he stated and stopped after one last hard SLAP

"Go to the drawing room!"

James hadn't any time to prepare himself for his master's sudden advancement upon him, squirming in vain as he were twirled around and stripped of his undergarments. "OW, sir STOP!" Ten smacks later and the boy was already crying, letting out a slight whimper at the final hard slap on his sore backside. Tears cascading down his pale cheeks, James shuffled immediately to the dreaded drawing room. He felt a bit betrayed as most adolescents often feel when they were punished, finding it difficult to blame himself when in his mind, he wanted to believe this wasn't entirely his fault. Rubbing his already pinkening butt, James bit his lip nervously.

"It isn't fair.." He mumbled to himself, wiping his eyes.

Bennett sighed sadly, he had a small amount of hope that after James had gone through the phaze of becoming a grown vampire, he might act a little more responsibly, that was certainly not the case as he was going to get his bare bottom spanked like a little kid.

He followed James into the drawing room and shook his head in disbelief, "I told you to be home on curfew and you dileberately disobeyed me!"

James hadn't the slightest clue how he should feel. He knew he once again lost track of time, but he could've made it within those five minutes! It was all that stupid prissy boy's fault! The boy paused in his thoughts, rubbing his butt absently. He couldn't believe he had let himself get fooled by the other vampire, the only comforting thoughts he held were Sammuel getting the same punishment. Oh yes...that did feel comforting.

But that didn't make his situation any less severe. He were in trouble for practically the same offense, and hearing the disappointment in Bennett's voice made the boy hang his head.

Now he felt as though this was entirely his fault. His master didn't deserve a trouble maker such as himself.

"I'm sorry sir..." James spoke softly, refusing to look up at the ground as if wishing it'd swallow him whole. "I screwed up. I let myself get distracted, and I promise it won't happen a-again."
