"Indeed." Spock answered, glancing around for signs of danger, it was true the silence was unsettling to say the least. Suddenly, the ground beneath them shuddered and rumbled, and Spock fought to keep his balance. "An earthquake?" he mused before there was then a large blast of energy aimed at Jim. "Father!" Spock felt actual fear, logic leaving him as he pushed Jim out of harms way and was victim to the blast, rendering Spock unconscious on the floor.
