A Vulcan's comeuppance - Ruby/Jade

Spock cleared his throat a little and shook his head, "No...that....that is not necessary." he answered and then hung his head, averting his gaze when the Captain asked what he had meant by that, of course Vulcans could not lie. "...I was...very rude to Doctor McCoy...and this is the same method of discipline he chose." he informed and then grew defensive, "Now let me up!"

"You are not in any position to be barking orders, Spock," Jim firmly reprimanded, punctuating the claim with a sharp smack aimed squarely at his officer's backside "Considering that this is not your first time in such a position, I would have thought that to be obvious." despite the fact that the rise in his voice seemed to have made itself a prominent tone, he felt that considering the circumstance, he was doing well to control the temper that Spock seemed so adamant to provoke.

"But we are not here to discuss your time with McCoy," The captain calmly reminded, making a point to hold the Vulcan to his currently unpaid for misdeeds "We are here so that you can explain to me exactly what you think puts you ahead of the chain of command." another smack landed upon Spock's rear as he spoke, hopefully incentive enough to get the man to talk.

Spock's eyes widened and he yelped at the spank given to his already sore backside courtesy of Doctor Leonard McCoy. "Captain..please..." the Vulcan muttered and then blushed a slight shade of green at the mention of this not being his first time. He might have looked ill to some, but Vulcans had green blood, what was normally red on humans, was green for Vulcans. "Ow!" he yowled at the second swat. "I did not mention my rank was above yours, however my opinion needed to be said." he snarled.

"No, you may not have spoken it outright; but your blatant disrespect for my authority speaks for itself," Jim admonished with another firm smack to the blushing Vulcan's backside "Not only have you insulted my competency as Captain, but during the last half an hour you have proceeded to sneer and snarl out the most derogatory of comments for no reason other than to state an opinion," by now he was able to settle into a standard rhythm of applying said disciplinary measures to Spock's rear end as he continued "And as such I demand an explanation; What's this sudden childishness about Spock?"

Spock frowned at that point, "You have no authority, and if you do, then you could have fooled many crew members." he said, smirking but that was wiped clean off at the next smack given to his shapely backside, "Yow!" he frowned and tired to push up abruptly from the Captain's lap. "I am not being childish Captain, I would appreciate it if you were correct with your accusations, which you have been unable to be twice." he scoffed a little and continued to push up. "This is ridiculous!"

"Actually, it's remarkably appropriate," Jim admonished once more with another set of smacks, the start of which needed just that little bit extra force to subdue Spock enough that he could be tighter pinned across the Captain's lap "And once again Spock, I was not accusing you of starting a war; I merely explained to you the report on Klingon technology, I informed you that they had hold of your bio-molecular imprint when they scanned you down on the planet's surface," this time "I was concerned for your well-being, but your unwillingness to listen, coupled with yes, a childish," he emphasised with a strike to his rear-end's under-curve "Reaction has landed you in this position. And because you continue to act the part it is my responsibility to treat you appropriately!" This time instead of landing another smack, Jim proceeded to take a hold of the waistband of Spock's pants; evidently fully prepared to follow through with the next step.

"I do not agree with this new found method of punishment." Spock answered somewhat indignantly. He didn't think that would matter much to Bones or Jim or whoever else decided to take him over their knee, somehow he saw that as something that was probable to happen. "OW!" he shouted in response, the Captain could spank hard, it was hard to determine who was tougher, Bones or the Captain. "It sounded as though you were accusing me." he pointed out stubbornly and growled at the world childish but that turned into a yip at the stern smack. "That hurt!" He kicked his legs and squirmed.

"Only when you start co-operating with me, Spock," Jim explained in a very matter of fact manner, further entertaining the notion of Spock acting like little more than a wayward child as he began tugged the struggling Vulcan's pants down from his backside and to his ankles, narrowly avoiding a kick to the cheek for his troubles "Now let's get down to business and start from the beginning, shall we?" at once the captain resumed the steady pace at which each spank would dust across Spock's quickly smarting rear "Do you realise why you're being punished, Spock?"

Spock huffed and then squeaked a little when his pants were taken down, he just damn hoped it stayed at boxers and went no further. The Vulcan continued to kick his legs each time the spanks fell across his now linen protected bottom that was still currently sore from his previous spanking. "Because if I would have waited, we may both have been incinerated." was Spock's response to Jim's question. "I do not see why I am being punished, this is not necessary. You gave no command and I saved both our lives." he snapped and then aimed a kick at Jim's head strategically which actually did hit the side of his face.

Just as he was about to offer a response to Spock's logic; the world suddenly collapsed into some sort of watery wheel of burning mass. But much like how the source of the pain had begun to pool at the side of his head, so did the infuriation that had been building since Spock let out his first huff. With steeled nerves he pushed himself up and went after the struggling Vulcan.

"Not so fast!" the captain growled, catching up in three heavy strides and once again clasping Spock by his ear. Once again, Kirk proceeded to march the Vulcan back over towards the bed. "I'm going to be blunt here Spock," he spoke as they walked "I'm very disappointed in you. Out of all the men on this ship, I never thought for a second that you would be the one to disgrace yourself so thoroughly,"
