Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:

Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

Haha, I am fully prepared to concede that this is a skill issue! I'm probably moving around more than I need to, and I bet I'd quickly figure out how to optimize my gameplay if I kept doing it. But I definitely have failed even after figuring out a decent loop, because the time the candle takes to go out can be pretty unforgiving!
Here is my idea to stay long enough: you can find there is a circle between the playroom, front desk, big pool of balls and the summon area, keep moving in the circle instead of walk into a deadend, when you see the light fade trun around immediately and dash away.
I guess the "entity" can "teleport" to a random place instead of walk toward you, unless it notice you (the light fade), but this "teleport" is kind of like move in a high speed, so if you find the screen turning darker, turn around, but if you find it turn dark and light then dark in a second, it mean the "entity" may "teleport" through you, it may in front of you OR behind you, well, wish youself luck in this situation. I suggest move forward like I did, I tried 4 times and I am fine, just one time the light faded compeletely, but already stay long enough and summon success after a few second.

Glad to see the updates are still coming! Am still hoping a game over sequence is implemented at some point. Would love to see mc's mom or someone spanks them for getting evicted. Perhaps stuck being babied until they move out again. Just suggestions. Keep up the good work!

I'm gonna keep hunting around but for the life i mean i can't find screenshots 7/9/10/11. I have all costumes I am pretty sure at this point.

You don't even have to do that much. You can just go back and forth between 2 rooms. When it stops flickering, stop moving, and when it starts flickering just go back the way you came until it stops flickering again and you'll have your two points to switch between, repeat until it's done.

One of the worst things you can do is just keep moving the whole time, when it starts flickering is somewhat random and some of the rooms are very big. If it starts flickering in the middle of a big room you are toast.

Waited a bit to see how the game shapes up in terms of content before playing, and wow, this game is shaping up to be great! Tons of content even in this medium stage of development, and seriously ambitious in many ways.

That said, I find the core gameplay incredibly tedious. While certainly athmospheric, the slow pace of navigating the dreamscape imo discourages experimentation. For example, I just do not see the point of nightmares as they currently are. As I understand it, they are a lot more likely to spawn while in a bad mood, making bad mood dreams lot more risky. But bad mood trips don't appear to be more valuable than other modes, so what is the incentive to be moody except to see the variants, which are often accompanied with minutes of tedious walking through rooms of fulfilled puzzles and explored rooms?


I feel bad for coming off as so negative, I very much enjoyed the highs of this game, as is deservedly but perhaps unfairly expected of Godspeak by now, it has amazing sound and visual design, great scenes, good characters and a compelling premise. It's got some stuff dragging it down, but I'm sure it will end up great.

Hey GS! Thank you so much for the new patch. The vibes are immaculate and the new additions are great! While I can still say that Zero (my headcanon for the neighbor) remains my favorite, Saleen has become a close second! I still have a few different mood-runs to do with her to be sure I've gotten all the dialogue, but in the meantime I hope you're as proud of your work as we are!
