A year has passed since the Lyoko Warriors have defeated Xana and everything has pretty much remained at statuesque. Ulrich and Yumi have remained "just friends" while Jeremy and Aelita are also also in the same boat, though they may be drifting apart a little because of the lack of staying up all night figuring out how to defeat Xana. Odd is still Odd, trying to top his record for how many girls he can date at once. Everything is finally normal for our heros, well, as normal as it can get.

Aelita is in her room reading a book, though she might as well not be. The latest gossip spreading around the school is that Jeremy is going to ask her out to the winter dance and Aelita is freaking out, in the bad way. Aelita likes Jeremy and they are bestfriends, but she's becoming sceptical about how she feels about him and she doesn't want to ruin their friendship. She was about to ask Yumi to come over to talk about it, but remembered that Yumi is studying for a huge exam that if she fail it she will fail for the semester. Her options we're running thin. Aelita thumbed through the contacts in her phone until she stop at someone's name. Ulrich. She thought about for a second and said "why not" Ulrich is a very kind and very supportive friend and out of all her guy friends, Ulrich knows better then anyone what Aelita's going through. Plus he might give her some info for what's going through Jeremy's head. So Aelita sent him a text to meet her at the hemitage. Aelita put on her shoe and walked up to her mirror to fix her hair and walked out the door.

Ulrich laid on his bed as he felt he finally had some free time after their rather hectic schedule of dealing with XANA. He noticed that he had recieved a text from Aelita to meet her at the hermitage. He sighed, but figured that it was probably important, so he put on his military style jacket and headed towards the hermitage. He spotted his pink haired friend in the distance and gave her a wave.

Aelita, dressed in her long pink hoodie with purple overalls and pink tights, saw the brunette waving from the corner of her eye and smiled at him while waving back. "Kinda brings back some memories, huh Ulrich?" Admits said as she walked over to her friend, signaling over at the hemitage. Aelita has made a habit of visiting her old house every couple weeks, while she's sure Ulrich hasn't been here since the fight against was at full force.

Ulrich chuckled softly at Aelitas comment. " Yes, it does. This place is really special." he said softly. " What did you want to talk about then?" he asked her, as he held up his phone to show her the text that she had sent him. " Is it something bad?"

"Well..." Aelita began, pacing back and forth a little, looking for the right words to say. "I assume you've heard the rumors going around the school about Jeremy and his plans for the dance, right?" Aelita asked, pretty sure of the answer she will receive.

The brown haired teen nodded as he was indeed well aware of said rumour. " Yes, I do. Don`t worry, Aelita. Jeremy really likes you, he is just...well...a bit clueless when it comes to things like this." Ulrich said and chuckled softly.

"I know, I guess I'm just a little scared..." Aelita said, staring at the ground while kicking the dirt a little. "I'm afraid that if we start dating then I'll realize I don't have feelings for Jeremy and lose him and his friendship." Aelita sighed and looked up at her friend. "Do you ever feel that way when you think of asking out Yumi?"

" I feel the same way, but I don`t think we would ever lose their friendship. We`ve been through a lot, after all." Ulrich said softly. " I understand that you`re nervous, but I don`t think he`d stop being your friend."

"You really think so?" Aelita asked hopefully, but abruptly shoved her hands in the pocket of her hoodie. "I've never had a boy I've liked before I met Jeremy, but ever since we killed Xana it feels like we've been very distant."

" I think he likes you too, Aelita...he is just to shy and nervous to say it. He is probably having the exact same emotions as you and I have." Ulrich said and rightened his green jacket slightly. " It`ll work out fine, you`ll see." he said and gave her a small smile.
