Nick looked at her and nodded as he took the phone in his hands and patted her bottom one last time before the guards came in. "Be strong Maya, I'll solve this case and save your life." He told her as he looked at her disappear for questioning. All he had left was the information and the hotel across the street from the office.

He got into his car and drove over there. It didn't take him long to chat up a strange idiot who was able to reveal the room that had the witness to the crime. He needed to pump the witness for information as best he could before the trial tomorrow.

April May scampered to the door when she heard the knock.
