The Adventures of Jayce and Li

Jayce was a mercenary. He was constantly on the move and only stayed in one place so long as there was work to be done there. Current he was staying in a small kingdom of a name he had chose not to remember. It was for a job that was a little on the poorer side for him. He tries to find work that paid far better, but he was just unlucky. The kingdom in question was in poor shape, the king was apparently a greedy, and corrupted one who over taxed his people. He would have assassinated him... but he charges a very rich some for the killing of a king since it was very risky to do so. He relieves a heavy sigh as he leaves the inn he was staying in. "I cannot wait to be gone from this horrible place." he said to himself as he then makes his way to the stable to fetch his horse; a black mustang with a black mane and tale. He gently brushes her before re-attaching her saddle. He grabs the reins and guides her out of the stable when all of the sudden he notices a crowd gather in the market square. Curios, he goes to investigate and finds a crowd gather around a single elevated wooden platform where several guards and a young women stood. The young women was bound by her hands and feet and forced onto her knees.

One of the guards unravels a scroll and reads aloud to the people. "This women is charged with thievery from our royal highness! She will be given thirty lashes then banished from the kingdom, so says the majesty himself!" And with that, another guard takes a fearsome whip and proceeds to whip all over her back and bottom.

Li looked completely emotionless as she was led out onto the platform to await punishment. She vaguely listened as her crimes were listed off, smirking slightly as she remembered stealing the kings treasures.
'It was his own fault, should have been paying more attention' she thought.

She remembered standing outside the King's castle, pasting off as a common strumpet and that king just couldn't resist. Who could resist her looks? With her long light blue hair, alluring acid green eye, an hour glass figure to die for, and she was wearing that sexy low cut black dress? Hell, if she was the king she would definitely fuck herself. Once she was inside the castle, she swiftly slipped some drowsy powder into his wine and watch with satisfaction as he fainted. But right when she was leaving the castle with the treasures, she was caught and locked in the dungeon to await punishment.

'And here we are now...' Li thought bitterly as she was forced to her knees.

"I'm going to make sure to whip you nice and hard whore" whispered the guard with the whip.

Li simply glared at him and if her hands weren't bound, she would have given him the finger with it.

"Do your worse...or are you compensating something with that whip?" she asked, smirking.

The guard snarled before holding the whip up high and whipping her back and her butt, not caring exactly were it landed.

"Ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Li screamed in agony.

The guard was relentless with his blows with the whip, when he reached thirty lashes he gave her several more before he had to be stopped by one of the other guards. "That's enough! Give her a day of water then throw her out!" the first guard declared. They force her up and drag away down from the platform and to the front gate. Jayce having witness the whole thing, felt sorry for the girl and after hearing about how bad the king was, he deserved to be robbed. This young women was brave and he admired that so he followed them. Once outside the gate the guards unshackle her then throw her to the ground with nothing but a leather canteen of water. After instructing the guards guarding the front gate to never allow that women back into the kingdom, they leave. Now that the girl was finally left alone, Jayce approaches her. "They call that a day's worth of water...? Pathetic..." he said. "Do you need help?"

Li screeched in agony as the guard kept hitting her despite having reached 30 lashes and almost cried in relief when they finally made him stop. She was on the brink of unconsciousness as they dragged her to the gate of the kingdom and threw her out with a 'day's worth' of water. She struggled to stand to her feet, to have at least some dignity but was far too weak at the moment.
"Fuck...I'm going to have some real nasty scars..." she muttered bitterly, feeling blood flow from her wounds.

"They call that a day's worth...Pathetic..." a voice said in disgust. "Do you need help?"

Li looked up to see a rather handsome man looking at her with concern in his eyes...and snarled at him.
"I don't need your help! I bet the guards hired you to fuck with me some more...make me feel even lower!" she yelled, pain and anger clouding her judgment.

Jayce could tell she was acting like that because of the pain from thirty lashes. "Do you really think I look like one of them...? Relax, I can treat your whip marks. Plus I have more water than you do plus food." he offered with his hand out to her to help her up. "Believe me if I was someone who was out to harm you, I would have done so already."

Li continued glaring at the man, the choice between trusting him and not trusting him clear in her eyes. After a while, she sighed and reached for the man's hand.
"I'm warning you...do anything to me and I will make you regret it!" she warned, slowly standing up with his help.

Jayce was glad she accepted his help albeit extremely wearyingly. "Understood... let's moved away from here, those guards are looking at use suspiciously." he said as he let her onto his horse while he walked. Soon the path takes them into the nearby forest. Once in a little ways, he takes her off the beaten path and to a nearby creek. "This is a good spot to set up camp. But first thing's first." he reaches into a bag attached to his horse and takes out a bottle of ointment then sat on the ground. "here sit in front of me and let me treat the whip marks on you back." he instructed.

"Understood...let's moved away from here, those guards are looking at use suspiciously." the man said.
Li looked back and glared at the guards with as much hatred as she could muster, if she had her weapons she would have blew their heads off but they took all of her belongings. The man helped her onto his horse, she leaned down tiredly onto it and rested, but not before admiring how beautiful it was. She woke up later when he announced that they were going to set up camp and he planned on treating her wounds.

"Okay...but don't forget my warning got it?" she growled before getting off the horse, taking off her top, and sitting in front of him.

"Yes yes, how can I forget?" he assured her. He sits behind her and pours a generous amount of lotion onto his hand and then starts gently rubbing it into her whip marks. "So tell me your name?" he asked, wanting to get to know her in the meantime.

"Li, that's all you need to know" she replied, wincing as the lotion was applied before sighing with relief. "And who are you? Not too many people would be willing to help a criminal"
