Game announcement: “THE SWAP”

I’m very pleased to announce my first game is finished and ready for public release,
such as it is. This is a Twine game written with the Sugarcube2 story format.
I say game, but to me it’s more or less a tech demo. This was made as a
challenge to myself, and if I can make a game then you can too.

I won't say too much about the game, but there are 7 endings on day one and
4 endings on day two.

I hope you enjoy the game, but what I really hope is that you let me know
what you think and if you manage to break the game. There are only so many
playthroughs and permutations you can check while remaining sane.

You released it too early.
It's not so much it doesn't have lots of content, but the content it does have is broken.
I've tested this on 4 different browers: Brave, Palemoon, Google Chrome, and Edge. It ALWAYS crashes when you try to make a lockpick. Depending on what you do it will either crash before you get out of the backyard (blank screen, no progress) OR one time so far I managed to get (using Palemoon which is almost totally compatible with the original Firefox engine ) to the front porch but choosing "open door" never acknowledged I had the bra clasp to use as a lockpick, instead it just said I couldn't open it. Another thing I've noticed is that it seems for whatever reason Twine has problems with loops. Sometimes merely making a choice after you've been to a place two or three times will cause the game to 'black screen' and crash. Like it can't just bring up the same text as before, but is looking for new text but not finding any.

I like your ideas, but the Bra Clip quest is broke. Maybe I'll have more luck if I throw or hit the ball into Amanda's backyard.

OK, I've found you can complete the quest if you go in through the backyard route. Game still crashes for no apparent reason at times though. I enjoyed the scene with the two teens in the corner , the bathroom scene and what Amanda does if you stay silent when she is asking you why you are in her house.

Thanks for feedback. I can make the text clearer in game: the lockpick won't work on
the front door because the lock is too advanced.

What happens when the game "blacks out" is that an ending is supposed to trigger,
but doesn't. Either you spent too long going back and forth, or you were spanked too
much. I'm investigating why they no longer work as they have been working through-
out the development, but for now they're closed off.

I liked your game, the scenes were good and I think that it is pretty cool that you mixed audio with a text game, hope to see more from you in the future

I enjoyed this, and I'd like to see it polished up a bit. I also got the blackouts in various places, but the gameplay was fun. Very much classic CYOA feel. One thing I'd suggest is maybe increase the frequency of strokes in some of the spankings. They felt a bit slow to me, but that might just be subjective. Either way, good work!

No crashes yet. Hopefully in the future , you can 'restore' those endings to where they work properly. Good first project. I will note the 'sound effects' don't work in all browsers - the only one they seem to ALL play is Palemoon. I SUSPECT (don't know) this is because of the disabling of various things like Flash and other changes the browsers have taken over the past few years to increase security ( I know some browsers also 'sandbox' things in a limited manner and that might affect what content, outside of a webpage, can play).

Not on mine. And my version of Chrome is from this year and constantly updated.
But then again, without knowing what Twine uses to cause a browsers to play sounds, I can't know what policies or settings to try and mess with. Same goes for Brave and Edge.

It is definitely fun to play! The sounds were good and the graphic depiction of status was nice. Hope you keep going and add more content.

I also had a lot of blackouts, maybe because of "too much spanking" -- is that a thing on this site? Seems like it would at least say you have to go home and cry.

Like someone else said, the pace and number of spanks could be faster and higher.

One note on language or consistency- at one point you use the word 'tween' for girls older than the MC.

I don't know much about programming, but if the decision tree is the same for the story other, maybe it would be possible to make parallel tracks with Ff/Ff, Mm/Ff, and/or Mm/Mm options.

As of now, is there any way to keep the story going to where you get the revenge spanking from your cousin?

Thank you for the game! I don't have so much fun for a long time! Of course there are other great spanking games, but I already know them and that was new
