It was a rainy night and in a house in went Severa seemingly trying to sneak inside. She quietly closed the front door her sword at her side and he clothes ripped and tattered from a huge battle she was in which in fact her two mothers told her not to do by herself which in fact she did. She was covered in cuts and bruises which hurt like all hell. She then put her foot on the first step quietly as he started to make her way up the stairs. She quickly though back to when she had her last punishment which was when she was 6. It was quite a while ago but she hadnt gotten spanked her by her mother which was quite painful if she remembered correctly. Her hair was in a bit of mess from battle. She had actually barely made it out alive. She cringed as she stepped her leg in quite a bit of pain

Cordelia was sound asleep in bed, exhausted from a day training new recruits to the Pegasus Knights. Robin, however, was still awake, drafting a speech for Chrom to make at his next public appearance. Since the war ended, Robin had been given the position not only of tactician, but also of royal advisor. While she wasn't thrilled with certain tasks Chrom and Maribelle now asked of her (writing speeches being one of them), the ability to give her wife, daughter, and son a comfortable life on her earnings was more than worth it. Her attention was immediately broken when she heard a thud coming from the foyer. She knew Cordelia was asleep, and Severa and Morgan had gone to bed hours ago. Arming herself with a Thunder tome, she crept downstairs cautiously to find the source of the noise.

Severa was in the kitchen munching on a piece of chocolate cake not bother to change her clothes or anything. She was always starving after a battle and had quite the appetite now. She didnt even use a fork but ate it with her hands because she was so hungry. She hadnt noticed her mother stepping into the kithen. With her back turned to her she continue to eat the cake. She looked as if a lion had mauled her considering her appearance. She then hiccuped from eating the cake too fast

"Severa? What are you doing?" Robin asked confusedly, lowering the tome. It was 2AM, meaning they had eaten dinner not incredibly long ago, and that breakfast was only in a few hours. It would be reasonable for her to be hungry now, but snacking like this was far more typical of Morgan than Severa. Then, like a runaway carriage down a hillside, it hit her. The sword at her side, boots still on and covered with mud, messed-up hair, torn clothing... it all made sense. "Severa. You were out doing mercenary work again, weren't you?"

Severa looked up at her mothing speakign through a mouth full of cake "N-No I wasnt!" she said even though that was a lie. She then wiped her face on her sleeve and put the plate in the sink looking at her mother "I-I was just getting a midnight snack" he said not looking her mother in the eyes which was often a hint that she was lying. She didnt lie often because she always fear her mothers intergation tactics which infact she hadnt used since she was 5. She rubbed the back of her head "heh.... I guess i should be heading back to bed now" she said attempting to slip past her

Robin took her by the shoulder and pulled her back. "What do you take me for? You were getting a midnight snack? You want me to believe that after having a bath and changing into your pajamas, you'd changed again,into a leather tunic and a pauldron? And then what did you do? Go outside and decide to roll around in the mud for fun for a while?" With the help of wind magic, she knocked Severa down into one of the seats at the kitchen table. "I want to hear the truth about what you've been out doing. Now."

Severa looked at her mother gulping softly "I-I was....: she saigh "Fine I was out doing a mercenary mission... alright ya happy?" she said rolling her eyes a bit. She then crossed her arms over her chest and frowned. She then noticed some chocolate on his fingers then proceeding to lick them clean. She then stopped and looked at her mother "So what am I like grounded or something?" she said rolling her eyes again. She then sat back in the chair as she waited for her mother to answer

Robin pinched the skin between her eyes in irritation. She hated this lecture, and she hadn't counted on delivering it again so soon. Not after last time. Still, Severa needed to hear it. Without answering her question, she took a deep breath and launched into a long speech about how Severa could have been killed, how working as a mercenary reflected badly on the family when both of her parents served the royal family, and how there were other, safer and more honorable ways to make money. Why couldn't she just do what her parents had done and joined the Shepherds? Even if it paid less, it was still far more reputable than being a thug for hire.

Severa just rolled her eyes having heard the same speech over and over. She sat there twtittling her thumbs as she then sat back in her chair looked away not paying her mother much attention. She wonder when the last time the inside of the house had been painted. She then looked back at her mother "Being a sheperd is fucking stupid!" she snapped as she scowled at her mother. She then pounded her fist on the table her temper getting the best of her "I REALLY DONT GIVE A FUCK!!!" she said then crossing her arms over her chest once again

"Watch it," Robin warned sternly. Outbursts like this weren't atypical of Severa, and they'd unfortunately become more profane as she'd gotten older. But one thing she knew was that Severa wouldn't challenge her if she really, and she meant really, put her foot down. "Severa, this absolutely cannot keep happening. We've explained this to you a million times, and you just don't seem to get it. What's it going to take to get it through to you?" She rubbed at her stiff shoulders. Whatever she was going to do, it had to wait until tomorrow. And Cordelia needed to be involved. "For now, I think you'd better just have another bath and head off to bed. You, your mother, and I will talk about this in the morning. Go."
