The arranged marriage~ (Private-For Passionate Shadow)

Alaith paced back and forth in his room,quickly turning on his heal as he did this.He was angry and confused.How could his parents tell him who he was going to marry?!It just wasn`t right,and he didn`t even know what his future wife would look like.He layed on his bed,and closed his eyes to give them some rest.

He was always used to getting things his own way,but as he parents had told him that this is one thing that he would have no say it.He hated it,and even directed a little hate towards them for this.He sighed as he looked up at the cieling and trying to make out shapes.This has helped him take him mind off things by distracting himself in the past,but today nothing seemed to work.

Alaith was a sixteen year old boy,but from his height he appeared to be younger.He had light blonde hair with a couple of soft curls placed evenly throughout it,it reached down to about the middle of his neck.His eyes were a breathtaking medium shade of purple which changed to a darked purple to look almost a blue when it was cold outside.He had a percing in each of his elf ears,the ones he wore today were a light blue to match with his eyes and his outfit.He wore a fancy white dress shirt underneath a darker blue over top.He had a silver ribbon wrapped around his collar and tied neatly into a bow.His pants were also fancy.He wore a black,short trimmed pair of pants with silver lacing up the sides.


Even if this wasn`t a pleasant visit from someone who would later be his bride he wanted to look his best.He stood up and went to the window of his room and peered out by the side of the curtain.

Just as the young prince reached the curtains soft hallow knock rang forth from the heavy wooden doors that lead in to this bedroom. Shortly after the two doors were pushed open. Surely no servant would have done such. In walked a much taller being, a large black cloak seemed to furled and flair out as he came in to the dim lit room, the light from the hallway seeming to make his figure a near silhouette. The man was certainly a good height over Alaith. as he stepped closer yet he called to the younger near the window. "Prince." the title was purred out in a deep honey smooth voice. finally he stopped nearly a few steps away. long wavy ink black hair fel over his shoulder like a blackened water fall. Cold silver eyes stared down upon the child with a some what stern gaze as he eyed him over. Long, slender ears slid backwards in mild disapproval of the younger's attire. "It is time to leave." he seemed to announce. wait leave? leave where? They were going some where?

Aliath stopped and turned toward the figure. "And where do you think I am going without my own approval?" He snapped.He was a little intimidated by the man`s size but he had to act like he was in control.Since,in his mind, he always was.He closed the curtain to try and se who this man was exactly.But he could still barely see him from the hallway light. "It had better be a good answer of why I should leave my room.I`m a very busy person you see and I would prefer not wasting my time on childish things." he stated boldly.He hated to be called a child and therefor he hated childish or nonsense things.Even though he wasnt busy he still had a stack of paper on his desk that would make him appear to be a the time.

Jocelynn offered a some what malicious smirk towards the younger. "We are rather pressed for time child; I'll merit you with forewarning now-Do not patronize me, I'm rather fond to a good deal more then the hallow chastising ,I'm sure you're used to." Jocelynn said gently as he reached a hand out to the smaller male and set it atop his shoulder before stepping closer once more and sliding that hand down his back and gingerly gave him a light nudge forward to get him moving. "I am to escort you to a foreign castle of neutral territory where it is you shall meet your betrothed." Jocelynn said as he snatched up a heavy velvet cloak from a coat rack not too far away and roughly dressed the younger in it and pulled the hood over his head. "Come now don't dally. "

Aliath moved forward to pull away from the older man`s arm.He blinked as he was dressed so fast and roughly.He only gave a tiny nod,even if it didn`t seem like a good reason it still had a point to leave with him and so he took it.Besides fighting with this man was a waste of time.He fixed his hood to be placed over his head a little more.It was raining outside and he didn`t want to get his hair or clothes wet. "Shall we go then?" he said waiting for Jocelynn to lead the way,since it was his job after all.He glanced at himself in the mirror on the side of his wall,making sure he looked presentable for this meeting.

Jocelynn nodded and nudges the younger forward so that e'd walk ahead. "This way." with a good deal of guiding and steering Jocelynn was able to get the younger out to their small travel carriage. He helped him in and crawled in him self taking the seat opposit from the younger. "Don't worry about your new home-most of your belonging have already been sent there anyways." Jocelynn announced gently.

He took a seat and sat with his hand placed against his head,looking bored at this whole thing.Yet at the same time he looked confinednt of himself like he always did. "Very well then,and about the person I am to marry.What do you know about her?" He questioned,looking Jocelynn in the eyes.He was now sitting up straight in his seat with his hands folded on his lap.The sound of the rain hitting of the carriage was muffled to their ears by the roof.

Jocelynnheld back a small laugh. "Inquisitive aren't we? You'll find out soon enough." Jocelynn stated as he shook his head gently. He toyed at some of the long black strands of hair and pushed them back over his shoulder. "I don't think you'd fair well with your new lover...You seem to be too focused on looking good... They care nothing for vanity." Jocelynn said only to tease the younger and see how they'd react.

"..'soon enough' isn`t good enough.." he replied. "and what`s wrong with looking good,I can buy clothes like this and I choose to wear them.He frowned and looked away to the window of the carriage. "oh do they? I don`t really care about them,I only agreed to this to make my parents happy.." he lied,truthfully he had no choice in this matter.He traced his finger along the window to collect the condensation that was forming on it from the icey cold rain.He didn`t look at the man,too angered by his comments about him. "When are we going to arrive there?" he asked,trying to change the subject.

"I'd care abut who I'd be spending the rest of my nights with in bed... if you make them anger enough they might hurt you whilst you sleep... You need to start thinking less of your self-you aren't going to be so leasurly sheltered. You're too spoiled to really grasps the responsibility that's being place on to your shoulders-You best make your betroth fall in love with you-not one but two nations are depending on this marriage." The elder scolded the young prince as he huffed out a heavy sigh. Really, he could swear up and down that it was best to make these royal runts grow up in the real world every now and then.
