Okay, so the idea is that from one reason or another, Chi-Chi and Bulma have been acting bratty while in front of their Saiyan sons, Trunks and Goten, probably mad because their respective husbands are never around. With Bulma falling behind in her work and Chi-Chi snapping at just about everything that comes near their house, young Trunks and Goten think that their mothers need to be taught some manors. And after the first time, it establishes the new relationship of their sons being the ones to dish out discipline when needed.

I think Chi-Chi might especially deserve this. I mean, she's ALWAYS getting herself into the line of fire, like when she mouthed off to Super Buu and got turned into an egg or during the movie with Slug when she tried to fight aliens and almost got killed.
