Crime, Punishment, and Rehabilitation {for Criss}

Eleven year old Rafe Andrew Faolan only had a vague idea of what the hell was going on, since he hadn’t exactly been paying attention at his hearing, and so as he stood with his juvenile probation officer waiting for whoever had been dumb enough to assume responsibility for him now that his oh so loving father was no longer in the picture, he really didn’t have the foggiest idea of what he was in for. The boy was short in stature, with a slender physique. The boy was dressed in loose fitting white pants and a v-neck shirt of the same non-color, looking for all the world like they were hospital scrubs or else the garb from an asylum or something. A single piercing gray eye gazed at the various people that were milling about in the courthouse, his other eye completely obscured by a fringe of mahogany colored hair. The boy had a scowl on his face as he stood next to his probation officer, dressed in ‘normal’ clothes because he was technically no longer in custody however the boy’s hands were still cuffed behind his back because he’d tried to ditch his current chaperone the first opportunity that he had gotten. It would be quite obvious to any who saw him that he was not a happy kid right now and that unhappiness was destined to only increase as the day progressed.

“You need to uncuff me asshole,” the boy growled, not even bothering to look at the tall man that was standing beside him, one hand tightly gripping the boy’s upper arm so that he couldn’t run away. Not that he’d really be able to get very far wearing handcuffs but that didn’t mean that the stubborn youth wouldn’t give it a try the first opportunity that he got. Especially since that was sort of what had gotten him into this mess to begin with and the man didn’t trust him not to try it again. The blond man looked down at the boy with a disapproving scowl on his face and said, “The moment your new guardian gets here I’ll do just that. Until then you’re going to chill right here with me and not run off and get yourself into even more trouble.” He said it in a firm tone, this obviously being a command but the boy simply scoffed, rolling his eyes though this was only visible in regards to one of them since the other was completely obscured by his hair. “You’re out of your fucking mind,” Rafe snarled in an almost feral tone of voice, the kid struggling to pull himself free but not really having what anyone would call luck with that.

Chris Morales stepped out of the judges chambers after filling out what paperwork he needed and headed over to the waiting area to pick up Rafe. Chris was well known in the world of "Alternative" parenting and had a major part in getting corporal punishment back into modern society as the norm. The 27 year old writer smiled when he saw the boy in cuffs and headed over "Hello there. Keep him cuffed for just a moment more please" he said pulling out a child harness and hooking the boy into it "I was told he was a runner" he said as the parole officer undid the cuffs "So you must be Rafe,I'm Mr.Morales,but you can just call me Chris" he said offering a hand to the boy

As soon as he heard the unfamiliar voice speaking Rafe turned to watch a man walking toward the spot where he was standing with his juvie officer, the kid's eyes narrowing as he listened to what was being said, once again trying to pull his arm free from the man holding him. "Back the fuck off!" he snapped when the man moved to hook a child harness onto him, this being completely embarrassing to the eleven year old and really only serving to make him more aggressive than he's been before. When the guy introduced himself Rafe sort of sneered at him as he snapped, "Don't care who you are and you're an idiot if you think this'll work. I'm not a toddler and I can take it off."

"Best of luck with this one," the officer said after removing the handcuffs that he had been using to keep control over his rather unhappy little charge. "You're going to need it. Just a note I'll be checking up on him every two weeks as per one of the conditions of his probation." Having said that he turned the kid over to Chris, happy that he was no longer his responsibility.

Chris nodded when the officer mentioned checking in on Rafe every two weeks "As to you young man I will warn you once,swear at me or at all and you will be eating a bar of soap" he said hooking the other end of the harness to his own wrist and getting a firm grip "And you can try and remove the harness if you like but its not like the one for toddlers." he said with a smirk "It locks via a key" he said tugging on the leash a bit "Come on,we have a long ride home"

This was not going at all the way that Rafe thought that it was going to and that only served to further anger one already very angry and frustrated child. The warning about not swearing went completely unheeded, Rafe actually growling low in his throat before snapping, "I'll say whatever the hell I want do say and there's not a damn thing you or anyone else can do about it. I gave up being an obedient little mongrel, now I bite back." The mention of the harness locking via a key was a surprise to Rafe since he hadn't even realized that such things were made but he wasn't deterred and when Chris gave the leash he was holding a tug Rafe pulled back, eyes still narrowed and he deadpanned, "Not going anywhere with you."

Chris sighed "And here I was hoping to atleast be able to wait till we got to the car......." he said with a sigh when the boy swore again and refused to move "Guess we do this the hard way" he said picking the boy up under his arm and carting him off towards the nearest bathroom

Rafe yelped in surprise upon finding himself picked up by the man, the boy, who was skinny and small for his age struggling valiantly the entire way. "Let go of me you psychotic asshole!" he demanded, hitting the guy with his fists since as far as he was concerned Chris had asked for it the moment that he had picked him up. Not that he would have really felt bad about it regardless since he was just beyond really giving a damn about much of anything at this point. "You're gonna regret deciding to take me in, I can promise you that... did they even bother to tell you why I was in juvie to begin with?" Rafe sort of taunted, trying to scare the man off though why the eleven year old even thought that was possible was something that even Rafe wouldn't have been able to answer.

Chris let the boy fight and struggle all he wanted,he had faced much worse then an eleven year old with a temper and unceremoniously carried him into the bathroom and into a stall that most places had now just for naughty little boys and girls that had a chair rather then a toilet and the lock was up high so that only an adult could open it "I followed your case so yes,I do know" he said shutting the stalls door behind him and locking it before letting Rafe go and sitting down on the chair "Now be a good boy and pull your pants down Rafe or I will do it for you"

Rafe honestly had no idea what was going on because he really just hadn't been paying attention during the hearing where this was likely discussed, the kid thinking that he would rather be just about anywhere else, even back in juvie would be preferable. So he was a little bit shocked to find himself carried first into the bathroom and then into a stall that had a chair. "What the hell?" the boy asked as he was placed down on his own two feet, the kid immediately stepping back over to the door and trying to jump up to reach the lock but he was too small to be able to do it. He whirled around and pressed his back to the door when Chris told him to pull his pants down. "Not a snowball's chance in hell I'm doing that," he snapped, shaking his head while his hands reflexively grabbed his pants as though to keep the man from carrying out his threat.

Chris sighed and grabbed the boy and by using his size and speed to his advantage pinned the boy against one of the walls with his arms behind his back and pinned them there with one hand as he stood up and locked the boys legs with his own before using the free hand to pull the knot holding the white pants up free and let them fall before yanking the boys underwear down enough to bare his bottom "You are going to regret not listening" he said before forcing the boy over to the chair,no longer needing to pin his legs since his pants would do it for him "I was going to go easy on you" he said before yanking the boy over his lap and pinning him in place,never letting go of the boys arms as he raised his hand and brought it crashing into the boys bare bottom with a loud SMACK
