My favorite part is no special part, but the intimacy during the whole of it.
Both involved parties have a lot of body contact(well, even if it isn't OTK, I would say there is still a lot of body contact - just maybe not all at once ;P), at least one is in an increasing state of undress under the eyes of the other, the trust of one allowing the other to spank them...

Depends on the author/pic, really. If it's a pic, then the act itself or corner time after an intense session is really good. On the other hand, in the case of literary acts, the character's reaction to each individual smack, and the build up to their "breaking point" before just giving in.

I like a bit of everything. What I like most is the spanking itself. I say in second comes the ending, when it's hugs and forgiveness, or also there is other kind of ending I like, but so far, I think I'm the only one who has written that kind of ending...

I think it falls in harsh ending, but not for the kid. It's about revenge, but it doesn't involve role-reversal.

I could go as far to say that is my favourite part but I feel a bit disappointed if that is rushed over or, worse still, if the underwear, and sometimes even the overwear as well, stays up.

I'm not sure if this is what you had in mind but when the spanking is overly harsh or unfair, or just plain cruel, the only enjoyment, or rather appreciation, I can get from the story is when the action rebounds on the spanker, and what comes around goes around.
