"Well you can make sure as much as you want. The answer is still going to be yes." Steve kissed Rafe's hair as he laughed. That little gesture to the couch was one he wished he'd caught on film. Too precious indeed. The man was still chuckling, chest warm and happy, as he grabbed the tablet and headed back to the couch.

"Look who's still here." One blue eye winked as the man flopped back on the couch, pulling his little close to watch as he tapped on the screen to bring up the amusement parks hours and a map.

It had a little bit of everything, big rides, little rides, a water park with slides. And bumper cars of course.

"Mkay so it looks like it'll be open on Monday, that's a good day to go because lots of people will be at work and school." Steve hummed as he clicked on various things for prices and the like, finally stopping on the map.

"What do you think Wolfie? See anything you really, extra, super want to do?" The man teased gently.

Rafe smiled when he was reassured once again that they were going to be able to go to the amusement park, the little very much excited about that. His gray-blue eyes followed the other as he left the room to get the tablet and then he just hung out on the couch until his daddy came back to join him once again. He looked at the other and smiled slightly when he heard what Steve had to say about him still being there.

"Yep, tolded you I would be," he said with a bright smile, leaning against Steve as the man flopped down beside him. His gaze went to the tablet as Steve pulled up the site for the amusement park. His eyes started to shine as he looked at the bright web page. "Ooh! Ooh! I wanna ride that!" Rafe exclaimed as he pointed toward the roller coaster.

There was a video of that ride and Rafe pointed toward it. "Let's watch it!"

Steve laughed again at that, little Rafe was a real sweet heart when he wanted to be. The man made a face when his mahogany haired boy pointed out a roller coaster that he wanted to try. It seemed there was still some part of the daredevil in his blue-grey eyed lover.

"Alright, let's watch it." He secretly hoped that watching the video might dissuade Rafe from actually wanting to ride the large roller coaster.

The black haired man tapped on the short video, holding his tablet up a little more for his little boy to see better. It was just as he'd feared, a large roller coaster that went very fast and very high up. Maybe he shouldn't be so worried, it was just a ride after all.

"So? What do you think baby boy? Still want to ride it?" Steve asked once the video had finished.

Roller coasters had always been the one thing that lured Rafe to amusement parks such as this, or really any thrill ride that could get his adrenaline pumping. He had always been something of an adrenaline junkie, which was part of the reason that he had gotten into EMS in the first place, because the thrill of rushing to an emergency with lights and sirens blaring was enough to give him that little adrenaline rush.

It seemed that this wasn't entirely dead even in the young man's current mental state and Rafe kept his gray-blue eyes focused on the video as Steve hit play. He didn't look away and the excited look on his face didn't falter even as the little video showed the loops and drops and fast turns of the ride.

He was practically bouncing up and down by the time that the video ended.

"Uh huh, I wanna rides it," Rafe announced when the video was over and he was questioned about it, his eyes shining as he looked at Steve. "And Daddy wantsa ries it with me," he added for good measure, holding his stuffed wolf against his chest and continuing to bounce up and down.

Steve couldn't hold onto the worried feeling trying to take up residence in his chest. He wanted to fret about the idea of taking Rafe to an amusement park and going on such a big, fast ride with the other. Those grey-blue eyes convinced him however, and when Rafe asserted that Steve would ride the attraction with him, the black haired man had to grin softly.

"Alright Wolfie, if you want to ride that roller coaster, then Daddy will ride it with you. As long as you are on your best behavior while we're at the park." It shouldn't be overly crowded on a week day when most people would be at work and kids would be in school.

That didn't mean that the blue eyed man wasn't worried about being in a park possibly full of people. "We'll go on as many rides as we can fit into a day. Promise." Steve dropped a kiss to the other's mahogany hair, setting his tablet down and stretching.

"So, now that we have a plan, what would you like to do with the rest of our day sweet boy?"

A bright smile appeared on Rafe's face when his daddy said that he would ride the roller coaster with him if that was what he wanted to do, the condition that was tossed out there briefly getting a pout from him but that vanished almost immediately. "I'll be really extra special good Daddy, I promise," Rafe said, pretty much willing to offer to do anything that the other man wanted as long as he was able to ride the roller coaster that he was so excited about.

Which might make things a little easier for Steve until they actually went to the amusement park.

When the man went on to say that they would go on as many rides as they could Rafe once again beamed at him before looking thoughtful when he was asked what they should do with the rest of the day. "Um...let's go for a walk," Rafe suggested after some brief thought on the matter.

Why he chose that activity was impossible to say but that was what he came up with and so he suggested it, his gray-blue eyes once again turning to Steve as he made the suggestion.

"I know you can do it, baby. You're already the best little boy around." Steve grinned at the other's enthusiastic assurances. He was sure that Rafe would do his best to behave, and that was all the dark haired man could ask for anyway.

The blue eyed man considered Rafe's request, it couldn't hurt for them to go on a little walk around the neighborhood, stretch their legs and breathe in some cool crisp air.

"Okay Wolfie. A walk sounds great. But we have to wear our coats and hats, it's a little chilly out and I don't want you to wake up with another fever." Steve ruffled mahogany hair as he stood up and popped his back once more. A little exercise would be good after lounging around most of the day. Plus, it might make for a sleepier little boy when bedtime finally rolled around.

The blue eyed man considered what route to take around the neighborhood as he headed for the closet to grab a coat and hat for himself and his gray-blue eyed lover.

Rafe was happy when Steve agreed that they could go for a walk but he was less happy when the man made the mention of wearing hats and coats. "Aww, do we gotta? Not that cold," the little protested with a small pout, Rafe not thinking that it was necessary. "Might get hot," he added after a moment, his gray-blue eyes focused on the man.

He watched as Steve went to the closet to retrieve the aforementioned articles of clothing and that was of course enough to tell him that they did in fact have to wear them.

And that Steve wasn't just going to let the matter go, which was a little bit upsetting to the man turned mental little boy and the pout on his lips was evidence of this. "Do we gotta?" he asked again, even though he had already posed this question once before.

Rafe was hoping for a better answer this time around though why he thought he would get that was anyone's guess.

Steve sighed softly as he heard Rafe's question. It seemed that every little thing he asked the other to do was going to be a fight for now. Trying to remind himself that his lover was very regressed in his own mind and couldn't help it, Steve turned to offer up the coat and hat.

"Yes we need to wear them Wolfie." The man said gently. "If you get hot on our walk then you can take them off for a little bit. But you are taking the coat and the hat. You were just really sick this morning sweetheart."

The dark haired man started to pull his own coat and hat on, giving the younger man a gentle smile. "If you want to go for a walk then you need to put on your coat and hat baby. Otherwise we'll have to stay inside." He was actually looking forward to this little breath of fresh air now that the request had been posed, and really hoped the other could behave.

Rafe kept his gray-blue eyes focused on Steve as the man confirmed that he did in fact have to wear the hat and coat, Rafe seeming to debate that one. The pout that he already had on his lips grew a bit more pronounced when Steve went on to say that they wouldn't be able to go out if he didn't wear the hat and coat.

Which needless to say was not what Rafe wanted to hear.

For a few moments he just stared at Steve but then he actually did pull on the coat, being a bit more reluctant with the hat because he had never liked those. He did cooperate however, without having a tantrum about it, even if it was pretty obvious that he wasn't terribly thrilled with the idea.

Leaving the coat unbuttoned he turned his gaze to Steve and announced, "'m ready to go."
