CRACK! No matter how much Lucy yelled and begged for her to stop, the celestial spirit only seemed to get more determined to go through with it. She left a short gap between each strike so that the blonde could both feel the sting and recover a bit from it before the next one landed, but even then it probably would make no difference to Lucy, for Aquarius was relentless in how strong she made each lash. "Someone must beat it, so it might as well be me. I'd love to be with Scorpio instead" CRACK! "Cause unlike you I have a boyfriend, but no, instead I got stuck punishing your stupid ass. I'm beginning to think I should spank you every week, maybe then you'd remember not to be a moron"

Aquarius knew she was being harsh. She always did that, never hesitating to insult the blonde (or to rub it in her face that she didn't have a boyfriend), but by now Lucy would know the spirit meant well. Which didn't make the following CRACK! any easier to take, or the one after it. CRACK! Every time Aquarius punished her, the mermaid was sure to make every hit count. She never overdid it, but at the same time never held back either. That was particularly true whenever her owner did something that risked her health somehow, and in this case magic deficiency was a pretty serious one. CRACK!

"Since you seem so eager to talk" CRACK! Aquarius spoke up again. The next words were continuously interrupted by the thunderous lashes of the belt, and the spirit knew Lucy probably would find it very difficult to talk coherently in her current situation, but the blonde also knew Aquarius wouldn't be happy she failed to or took too long to answer. "You might as well say something useful. So go on, girl" CRACK! "Even you must have realised by now why I'm spanking you senseless, so tell me" CRACK! "Why am I doing that?" CRACK!

Lucy could only talk at the beginning of spanking with Aquarius, especially ones that involved her health. Just twenty swats usually had the girl crying a ton and gasping for air. Lucy never got any mercy from Aquarius after all in these circumstances. Even with the harsh swats and little times between spanks Lucy normally had to speak and Aquarius would still get pissed if she did not. Even with the break between spanks the belt always had her gasping for air or letting out a yelp. Hand spankings she could normally talk better, but that was not the case right now.

Lucy was used to Aquarius criticizing her harshly. She knew the mermaid cared deeply about her after all she would not punish her otherwise. Aquarius felt like a big sister was her closest spirit by far. The bad thing was Lucy had to take the criticisms because if she gave an attitude Aquarius would put Lucy in her place. However, Lucy was still tired from her lost of magic and Aquarius made her mad today.

Lucy couldn't help, but give a small bit of attitude as she spoke. She did answer the mermaids question though slowly and a bit sloppily. "Cause I owww owwww overdid by owww opening three gates a oww forbidden technique," Lucy said sobbing. Her bottom felt like a hornets nest. However, the last comment slipped out of exhaustion. "Well.... at least when I like someone owww they won't owww flirt with others," Lucy said. It was a lie, Scorpio never flirted with anyone, but Aquarius could be very sensitive about her man.

The blonde was damn right to think showing Aquarius attitude during a spanking was a certain way to make everything much worse for herself - it probably would even out of one, but when the mermaid had Lucy's bottom at her mercy like that it would definitely be unpleasing for the mage. As soon as she heard that comment about Scorpio, the celestial spirit clenched her jaw and fists in anger, first due to jealously, but then because she was quick to figure out the girl was just trying to sassy her. She had been around for many centuries by now, it would take more than one naughty mage's lies to fool Aquarius for long, but it sure was enough of annoying her even further. CRACK!

"Is that so?" Aquarius asked as the last strike of the belt landed on Lucy's bottom. No other came after that one, which could only mean one thing... and it was not good for Lucy at all. To her credit, the Water Bearer did not yell or show as much anger as she usually would have. Some could mistake Aquarius' current demeanour as that of someone who was not angry anymore, but by now the Heartfilia heiress had known the spirit long enough to know that was not the case, especially when said spirit put the belt besides Lucy on the bed and picked up the riding crop that so far had been harmlessly lying there.

Swwwuuush... The implement cut through the air, but a second or two later it still had not hit the buttocks of the celestial mage. Aquarius was giving it a few tries, both to build up anticipation and to calm down a bit. No matter how harsh she was, Aquarius would never do something to truly harm Lucy, so she didn't risk resuming the punishment just yet. Swwuuushh... "Showing me attitude has never ended well for you before, so it baffles me that you'd even try that in your current position. You must be even more stupid than I thought! Luckily I have the remedy for that, too"

Lucy had no idea why she gave attitude. The smartass comment left her mouth before she could stop it. She just felt angry at all the comments about her not having a boyfriend. Lucy knew Aquarius criticized her harshly and she cared, but sometimes the girl strikes back. Lucy could feel the demeanor of Aquarius change. The mermaid could handle her snapping back sometimes if Aquarius teased her a lot, but never during a spanking. Aquarius demanded respect during Lucy’s punishments.

Lucy wanted to say more, but she was still bawling from all the belt marks. Lucy’s bottom felt like a volcano erupted on it already. Her bottom was almost crimson with red stripes all over it. Well… not quite bawling, but crying hard. She knew what was coming now and this was her least favorite implement by far. The girl could only cry harder as she looked back and saw the riding crop. She also shaked in fear because she could feel Aquarius’ anger even if she couldn’t see it.

Lucy waited for the strike, but realized Aquarius wasn’t using it just yet. This was the calm before the sob fest Lucy was about to become. “I’m s-sorry. T-the boyfriend comments hurt my f-feelings sometimes. I d-didn’t mean it,” Lucy stuttered through her sobs. Ha knew it didn’t matter what she meant Aquarius would certainly punish her for saying it. The celestial spirit mage just prayed this spanking would end soon. Her butt was reaching its limit.

While Aquarius definitely was not going to let that slip — she never did —, to hear Lucy apologise did have some effect on the blue haired spirit. It helped her to calm down a little, though for the blonde that might not feel so good considering it also meant the celestial spirit was ready to resume the spanking. Resting the tip of the crop on the middle of her owner's backside, the mermaid shook her head. She still could not believe how foolish the girl could be at times, even though Aquarius did understand it was not easy to take her harsh words without getting upset.

"Yeah, you definitely oughta begin to think before you do... or say... things that will put you in a bad situation. Like this" Swwwuuushhh... A split second after she pulled the crop back, the implement cut through the air again, and this time it would not take long for Lucy to feel pain explode on the left side of her bottom with a TWACK! sound. It was the crop landing on her bare flesh; it was not as heavy as the belt, nor did it cover as much area of her butt, but the sting left by each hit was unparallaled, as if a handful of angry wasps had just stung the same spot on her behind.

At least Aquarius did not hit as fast with the crop as she was doing before, which would certainly be over the top, but she also didn't actually need to: the crop would be painful enough on its own, but on top of the belt spanking she had just given Lucy the pain was almost unbearable. TWACK! When she started lecturing the blonde again, this time Aquarius didn't insult her either. She was not afraid to speak her mind and criticise the girl very harshly when she did something stupid, but hearing the blonde say she'd 'hurt her feelings' did have some impact on the spirit, who decided to be just a little softer on the way she spoke. "I know you didn't mean to, girl. But have I ever punished you for what you meant to do? No, I'm punishing you for what you did. You really must start thinking before you act" TWACK!

Lucy knew she was suppose to take the words without argument of attitude. Aquarius was the older sister in the relationship, which meant she couldn’t snap back at her with attitude whenever she wanted it. Was it fair maybe not? However, Aquarius cared about Lucy a lot criticizing was her way of caring. Lucy knew that and she shouldn’t have snapped out no matter what. It did make Lucy feel bad for trying to mess with her feelings about Scorpio. She knew how sensitive Aquarius was about that.

Her focus on her latest attitude went away or more like her pain in the rear came back. Lucy hadn’t realized that Aquarius had decided to start the worst part of the punishment. The pain of the crop on top of belt welts made it hurt more than hornets’s sting. Each swing made pin go throughout Aquarius’ bottom. Her loud cries became more high pitched and she straight up bawled now. Her cries were starting to become hoarse now from all her cries in the last few minutes.

“I… know I’m s-sorry f-for worrying you Aquarius-nee,” Lucy said between her bawling. The girl no longer squirmed either starting to go limp. It wouldn’t take long with the crop to make this lesson last. The blonde mage began to realize why Aquarius was spanking so hard. Lucy had put her life in the line trying that stunt. People had died doing it and the additional attitude didn’t help. “Three gates was owww fucking stupid s-sorry,” Lucy said.

Rather than scolding Lucy through the remaining of her punishment, the celestial spirit spoke no more: she didn't want to risk overdoing it with the crop, so Aquarius focused in counting each stroke of it. She did, however, take notice of what the blonde was saying (or trying to say, considering her sobs) and frowned a bit when she heard the girl curse; unlike Erza, who only minded cursing when it happened around the younger members of Fairy Tail, such as Wendy and Romeo, to Aquarius it didn't matter that her owner was a young woman by now. And just like she would do when the girl was much younger, the mermaid immediately targeted the upper portion of her thighs with the crop in response to the swearing.

TWACK! "Watch your mouth, girl" It was the only thing the Water Bearer said. Another strike of the crop landed soon after on the opposite thigh, reddening it as well. TWACK! Then she returned her attention to Lucy's bottom. TWACK! By now the skin on it was a satisfying shade of red, with the spots hit by the crop very distinguishible from the rest of it. Allied to the way her owner was sobbing and how she'd acknowledge what she did wrong, Aquarius decided it was a clear sign that the girl had been punished enough. She should stop soon.

But she still did not put the crop down, nor did she tell the celestial mage to get up. No. Now it was time for her to really talk with the girl. Though she would often insult and critise Lucy throughout all of the punishment, Aquarius always spared the actual lecture to the end of it. 'You're more willing to listen without attitude with a sore bottom', she would always say. And as always, the lecture was followed up by a new stroke right to her sit spots! "You're right, that was a pretty stupid stunt. It is forbidden for a reason! Only the most powerful mages would be able to keep three gates open at once, and though you sure do have the potential, you're not on that level yet... I understand you want to be stronger, but what use will that have if you kill yourself in the process, girl?" TWACK!

Lucy didn’t curse very much. Lucy only cursed when she was in a lot of pain, in a really dangerous situation, or very angry. She also sometimes cursed when exhausted or just in a whiny mood. Aquarius had broke her of the habit and Erza wasn’t find it it. Erza tolerated it a decent amount, but didn’t like when the older cursed around the younger mages or at her. For instance Natsu called Erza bitch under his breath and that did not well for the boy. She had forgotten why she didn’t curse much. Now, she remembered Aquarius had broken her of this habit.

Lucy yelled it when Aquarius attacked her thighs for cursing. Those spots were about as sensitive as her sitspots, especially with that damn crop. Lucy knew it was almost the end of her punishment, which meant the real lecture would be begin. Aquarius would lecture some during the spanking, but mainly just insult her stupidity. The end would always be where the caring lecture took place and the most painful swats. She was almost there, she just had a few more swats to go.

Lucy remembered Aquarius’ saying well. She wasn’t wrong Lucy really understood best at the end of the spanking since she had to think about why she was spanked the whole punishment. “It… w-wouldn’t have any use. I w-won’t train recklessly again,” Lucy said. The girl had made this promise numerous times though. However, this time she really meant it. Well… until she got emotional and dumb again. Lucy would certainly never try to open three gates without Aquarius again. “I-I’ll train with you present the next few days or weeks,” She said. After a reckless bout Aquarius sometimes liked to keep an eye on the girl. Lucy was saying all of this through her tears.

Taking the girl's response as certainty that she'd learned her lesson - for now at least, considering this was not the first time they had such conversation -, Aquarius finally decided to finish it for good. A last hit from the crop landed right in the middle of Lucy's bottom with a louder impact than the others, and then it was finally over. The spirit was satisfied to hear her owner promise to behave and agree to have her supervising training for the next few days, something the Water Bearer usually did in such situations to make sure the blonde would keep her promise.

"Good. I hope this time you really got it, cause I'm getting tired of having this same talk over and over again" The mermaid said that in a very blunt way, but there was no sign of her previous annoyance. Knowing the celestial mage would need some comfort after that, Aquarius put her crop down and looked at Lucy for a few moments before speaking up again. "Anyway, now that's been dealt with you can get up when you're ready. Just take your time"

'Take your time' might've not seen much to someone else, but to one like Lucy, who was used to Aquarius' personality, it was almost the same as saying 'I love you'. The blue haired spirit waited patiently to hug her owner when she got up, and at that moment not even the wish to see her boyfriend was strong enough to change her mind. After so many years watching over the blonde mage, Aquarius had indeed grown quite attached to her, even if she expressed it in a very strange way most of the time.

Lucy wasn’t excited to have Aquarius around to supervise to say the least. The mermaid spirit could be pretty harsh during training. Aquarius would criticize her and therefore push her to the limit. However, unlike Lucy Aquarius never pushed her to the point of almost depleting all her magic. Aquarius just pointed out the small flaws like her strategies and who to summon. However, she was really nit picky. For the next few days Lucy would not train without Aquarius because she knew the mermaid would put her right back over the beds

Lucy sobbed for a few minutes barely registering the spanking had ended. The girl waited around three minutes before finally pushing herself off the bed. This was so she could find the strength to stand as her legs felt like rubber right now. Lucy stood up and immediately hugged the mermaid. She held onto Aquarius sobbing in her spirit’s chest. “I-I’m sorry Aquarius. I won’t do it again,” Lucy said.

Lucy understood how much Aquarius cared for her. Her crimson backside showed proof of that love. The girl brought her hands down to rub her sore rear. Lucy hissed in contact, but kept rubbing. Her rear was stinging too much to not try to relieve some of the pain out of it.
