Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

actually Ai has made it clear to the staff any 3D works are not allowed, regardless of reality or not it was easier to just say no so that other ppls didnt complain that their more realistic images were not allowed etc.. (l think its the best way to explain it XD)

Where? Which? I love the subtle snipe that I'm being inconsistant btw ^__^
To my knowlege, it IS all removed, at least, the poser stuff is, I've not seen any others *heaves a sigh* Do pretty please link to examples.
The El Mante stuff is perfectly fine, it's not realistic style at all, it's completely cartoony.

Either cartoony 3d art is removed or it isn't. If it is, why is the EMN stuff still there? If it isn't, why was something someone posted from IMVU (which is at least as cartoony as EMN's stuff, and is what I referred to) removed the other day?
People see something here that's already cartoony and 3d, they're going to assume it's okay for them to do so as well. Apparently someone also tried to put up stuff from Second Life some time ago - once again, blatently unrealistic, but removed and they were warned.
Ironically, neither of those were made with Poser, but EMN's stuff is.
It does, yes, seem like enforcement of this is inconsistant.

3D art that is too realistic is not allowed even if the persons pictured are over 18 - there is no proof of this and anybody could argue they were 17 which classes the picture as Child Pornography. 3D art which is not particularly realistic (eg EMN's older works) is allowed at the discretion of the OTK staff. Western style art is allowed if it is uploaded by the artist. Comic books and strips (eg "Little Audry", "Superman" etc) are not allowed and will be removed.
Pictures can be removed from the gallery for no reason at all. If they are incorrectly removed then when an admin has a clear out of the deleted section they can be put back in their correct place.
To be honest I do not understand why this is such a big deal to you Jin - last time I checked you were not a member of staff here and have only uploaded a single picture to the gallery (in the "Anime Spankables" section too - not even a spanking image.) At the end of the day if an image which is deemed unsuitable by any mod/admin is uploaded it will be removed - end of story.

Well, for one, I was the one that told the guy with the Second Life images about this place, so I felt a bit bad that he got in trouble for it. Also, it would have been nice to see the IMVU pic before it got deleted. ;p
For two, I just think it's better if there is a consistant and clear rule. I don't feel I have to be a member of the staff or have uploaded many pictures to think that's a good thing. Though, for the record, I was both a staff member and uploaded hundreds of pictures on some of the predecessors to this site, so I have some empathy for those doing it here.

I still don't understrand. There is a clear and consistant rule. No 3D images and they all get removed - the only ones left are El Mante Negro's which are great looking, art styled, completely unrealistic looking pictures with are totally unlike poser. The IMVU pic you've just admited not seeing is slightly, minutely cartoony - but it's still hundreds of times more unacceptably realistic than ELMs. It's identical to poser. Poser images are removed and have been since this site was set up. There is no inconsistancy - no matter how many times you claim there is.
I don't even know which ones these 'Second Life' pictures are - There's nothing like them in our trashcan of deleted pics.

That I haven't seen the specific IMVU picture in question does not mean I don't know what IMVU avatars look like.
(shrug) Anyway, I disagree. But it's not worth getting worked up over. Life does go on. ;p
