He nods "Very now get to work young man, daylight's burning."

Takashi nods then lets Reika off his lap. "Next time... leave the heavy lifting to me okay...?" he asked as he hugged her to try and calm her down quickly while rubbing her bottom.

Rei went limp over Takashi's knee as she quietly sobbed. "It...huuuuurts....." She whined. She then was lifted up to be hugged and wrapped her arms around him. "Okay...." She spoke weakly and kept sobbing for a bit before letting go.

And so for the next few days, Takashi and Reika worked their butts off from dawn to dusk. Then on the fourth day, the stable master interrupted them. "Alright you two, you've done good work and you've earned a horse." he said.

Takashi was thrilled "Thank you sir!" he bowed graciously. He looks over at the horses he spent days tending to. He gravitates to a black horse he had been fond of since the beginning. He gently strokes the horse's side to which the horse allows.

The owner smirks. "Ah you like Knightmare I see. Knightmare allows very few people other than me near him. It's a sign that he thinks your strong."

Takashi nods then looks at Reika. "I think we've found our ride wouldn't you say?"

Rei did very well trying to stay good and help out as best as she could for the next few days. When the stable master came to them to offer a horse, she jumped in the air with her arms up. "Woohoo!" She chuckled. "Yeah!" She replied. "Knightmare's great!" She added. "I think we should go buy some stuff before we go though. I'm gonna be hungry!" She told him. It probably was a good idea to stock on not only food, but other supplies as well.

He nods "You're right... hopefully we can afford some food." she said as he gently leads their new steed out of the stable. After perusing through the market and doing their best to avoid those who Reika made enemies out of, they purchase a small but suitable amount of food. "Already... hopefully this will last us... we could always hunt for food, I'm pretty good at fishing." he said. He lifts up Reika "Alright, up you go!" onto the horse before he mounts up himself. He had asked the stable master how to ride a horse in the three days spent working for him to which he proved to be a very faster learner. "Alright... hold on tight Reika, we're outta-here!" And with that he kicks the horse's sides and with a loud neigh, it starts off in full gallop exiting the town, gates and starting down the path into this new unfimiliar world.

After they left the town, Rei sighed as it was taking quite a while to get to the next town over. The poor girl was getting bored. "I didn't realize how big the land was until now.....how much further...?" She asked in a pitiful tone.

As their journey became lengthy he noticed how bored she was getting. He too wasn't used to such trips in this fashion but kept it to himself. When she finally spot out about how bored she was "I understand..." he pulls out the map and reads for a moment. "I don't exactly know how to read this well enough, but from what I can gather it'll take us a few days before we reach the next town..." he said.

OOC: Geez I feel kinda bad for neglecting this RP again.

(Don't feel bad. It's completely fine. I've been super busy anyway, so I haven't been able to check in as often.)

"A few more days?!" She frowned. "Gimme that!" She grabbed the map from him to look it over very carefully. "Wait a sec...." She noticed something and blew on the map before rubbing a spot on it. "Somebody hid something here, look! A cave nearby!" She showed him.

"Hmm... cave huh...? I guess we could check it out..." and so he follows the map and they arrive at the cave. The inside was dark and looked like it went deep. He dismounts then takes a couple of steps into the cave. "How deep does this go...?" he asks himself as he tries to squint his eyes and look in. "I don't like this... there could be something living in there."

"Oh, don't be such a wuss." She told him as she passed him by to go deeper in the cave. "You should be fine, you can see in the dark, can't you?" She asked. Being a cat girl sure had its perks. She had night vision.
