10 year old Kodi Marie Jensen had been an orphan for nearly 13 months, after losing her parents in a freak air balloon accident. Kodi has not adjusted well since the loss of her parents and had become very diffiant, disrespectful, and out of control. The nuns at the orphanage found it very difficult to properly punish Kodi, making it even more difficult to find a permanent placement for her in a new home. Kodi had run away at least a dozen or so times over the past 13 months, from both the orphanage and foster homes. She was usually found fairly quickly, and always found mischief while on the run. Today would be one of those days that Kodi would find herself up to no good.

Kodi slipped out of the orphanage after breakfast, as the orphanage children and staff were moving about preparing for morning prayer and studies. She slipped out the back door and hopped in the back of a linen delivery truck, and hid in a bin of laundry. She stayed quiet while the truck drove out of the orphanage driveway and into the next town. When the truck stopped outside a shopping mall, Kodi waited for the driver to collect clean Linnens and close the door. When she felt it was safe, Kodi slipped out of the truck and into the mall.

Kodi was dressed in a t-shirt, jeans with a hole In the knee, and shoes that looked very warn. She knew if she were going to make it farther then she had last time she ran, she would have to be prepared, what a better place to get what she needed then in the mall. Kodi felt how cold it was out already, and knew she would need to keep warm, so she headed to the nearest department store. She walked around and found the children's department her mom use to take her for school clothes. She found the coats, and pulled off a pink denim jacket with a fleece lining. "Wow this one is cool!" She said quietly and looked around. Kodi took it off the hanger and put it on and walked towards the exit of the store leading into the mall.

As Kodi stepped out of the store with the coat on, an alarm went off. Kodi panicked for a,moment then started to run when she heard a man yell for her to stop.

27 Year-old Takuto Kusanagi was a Japanese Language teacher at a local high-school. He's had to deal with his fair share of unruly punks in his time since moving to the states to start a new life. He was just walking past the clothing store when he saw a little girl trigger an alarm as she dashed out with a stolen jacket. The girl looked like she was no younger than ten. They start out soo young, he thought. He wasn't going to let her get away. He dashes after her, catching up with ease. He reaches down and grabs her by the back of the coat collar. "Gotcha!" he declared.

Kodi felt someone grab her by the neck of her coat, after hearing the man claim to have her, she started to yell at him. "Hey Mister!! Let me go!!" Kodi struggled to pull away from the stranger, then gave a little kick in to his shin. "You're going to be sorry if you don't!!"

He shifts his leg to the right to avoid her kick. "And you're butt is going to be even sorrier than it already is if you don't stop struggling. Now where are your parents!?" he demanded, keeping a firm hold on her.

Kodi glared at the man. "You better let me go Mister or my parents are gunna sue you!! That's where they are!!" Kodi started to notice onlookers and uses this to her advantage. "I don't know this man!!" She bellowed out hoping someone wouldn't know why he had grabbed a hold of her. "I mean it misters, you better let go!"

Fortunately for Takuto, one of the sisters who went out to look for her happened to be in the same mall they were in. She heard Kodi's familiar voice and raced to the scene. "Kodi! There you are!" she called.

Takuto hears the sister coming towards them and raises an eyebrow. "Is this girl yours?" he asked.

She takes a moment to catch her breath. "I'm very sorry for any trouble she's caused you... she's from our Sanctuary. A poor unfortunate... and very troubled orphan." she explained.

Kodi continued to struggle trying to get out of the ma s grips. "I said let me go!" Then denied knowing the nun when she showed up, "I don't know this old bag, I've never seen her before, and whose Kodi?" She asked trying to convince the stranger and onlookers she wasn't who the nun said she was.

"Kodi! Stop this right now!" she said, trying to be stern. "Please forgive her... her parents died just a little over a year and..."

Hearing that, he let out a sigh. "Say no more... now she's become defiant and rebellious right?" he assumed. He's seen it before in a couple of his own students... but to have be a little kid like her... that's rough.

The nun, sullenly nods. "We've tried our best to keep her in line but..."

He scoffed. "Obviously you're not trying hard enough. This kid tried to shoplift this jacket. She deserves a good spanking." he suggested.

This sent a shiver down the sister's spine. Even though she agreed with him, none of the nuns could ever bring it upon themselves to lay a hand on her. "I... I agree... I'm sorry, it's our fault for not disciplining her properly... would you be willing too?" she asked.

He blinked the question for a moment then nodded. "I would be more than glad to... come on you little thief." he pulls her into the closest family bathroom and locks the door behind him."

Kodi still squirmed and didn't let up on her attempt to free herself, not paying much attention to the conversation between the adults, until she heard the word spanking. "What??? Spank who?? I ain't getting no spankings from no one!!" Kodi resisted as the man marched her to the nearest family restroom. "Hey, stop it, you can't spank me!!" She shouted as the he shut and locked the door behind them.

"Oh I can I will you little brat." he said as he undid his belt with one hand and jerked it off his pants. "Naughty little shoplifters deserve a good thrashing with the belt." he folds the belt up in a loop then gets on one knee and forces her over it. He lines the belt up with her denim covered backside then arches back and *THWACK!!!**THWACK!!!**THWACK!!!**THWACK!!!**THWAC K!!!* he starts landing thrash after painful thrash with his thick leather belt. Even with the denim protecting her rear, he put a lot of strength into his strikes.
