“Three more turns until checkmate”
Zaera's voice was cheerful and full of anticipation as she announced her next move to her opponent across the play field. A mischievous sparkle in her eyes warned Keyra, that her girlfriend and fellow sorceress had something more in store for her than a simple checkmate. She had come to know and love Zaera dearly in the last two years, in which they had shared this room at the academy, but her girlfriend never got tired of thinking of new ways to embarrass and tease her. Keyra might be secretly enjoying the playfulness and creativity of her lover, but never would she be able to admit to it. Not to herself and certainly not to Zaera.
“Black Knight takes White Queen! Two turns and this game will be over.”
Indeed, Keyra had to admit she was cornered with no way out.
“I was careless, but next time... W... WAIT! What are they doing?!”
“Huh? What?”
Keyra thought her eyes were playing tricks on her at first.
“Your knight is spanking my queen! That is not supposed to happen! Something must be wrong with the chess illusion spell.”
“Hmm, I rather like this spell actually...”
“You! It was you wasn't it? And.. and.. wha... wha... why does the Black Knight suddenly look like you? And the White Queen! Is... is that supposed to be me?!”
The sparkle of mischief in Zaera's eyes grew stronger and her trademark, broad, toothy grin, Keyra loved and feared to see so much, appeared on her face.
“Looks well, doesn't it? I'm rather proud of myself. I worked on this change to the chess-spell all week. This is just a little preview to what will happen to you later this night.”
“What? L... later tonight?”
“Of course! This will be your penalty game for losing this match. You may ask me for a rematch tomorrow though.”
“No! We never agreed on any penalty game! You won't give me a spanking!”
“Oh, come on. Playing is no fun without a penalty game for the loser. Besides, I know you too well. I will have your delicious butt naked and quivering across my lap before the night is over. Despite her best efforts Keyra couldn't prevent the images from appearing in her head.
