Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!
This is Rafe, CleverFox's 16 year old character from our RP's. I used him to practice proportions since I finally found a book that explained it to me without technical art terms that I cant understand lol. I'll be drawing him in a spanking scene soon, this is his debut picture XD
He's a bit of a cocky kid, one of those "I'm smarter than you" types but not in a mean way he's just really smart and uses that to get into mischief and try to cover his tracks. In this scene he's trying to play innocent so his Uncle doesnt spank him for something he did
Rafer is such an innocent little angel, he'd never do anything naughty. And I love the expression he has in this pic, he looks smug. I'm sure he'll totally be able to pull off the innocent routine.
Great job. But there are some little mistakes)
Just read to know and use:
Small (true) eyes make personages look real.
Most cartoon and anime characters have big and/or simple eyes.
That boy's eyes are BIG and have clear borders.
Small eyes with smooth lines look more real)
Ear should be few cms higher.
Mouth - few cms lower (BIG chin))).
Also... kid got little feet X)
But "4 height moments" (I think we use the same method and you understand)) are drawn perfectly)

Schemerman: Thanks for the help! I'll try and fix those things when I draw him again ^^ I actually have no idea what the 4 height moments are, the book I had told me to draw him using his head to base the rest of his proportions so that's what I did.
I agree on the lil details Schemerman mentioned, but for this being your first practice, he looks really good. I like his smog expression. He looks like one that got himself talked out of some trouble once before^^
