Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

It is set in a simple feudal Japanese world setting (eg, fantasy, past/history) - With Lords that are like kings residing over certain areas of the land. The Kagetsu ninja (many are female/kunoichi) ally themselves with the family that has a lot of care and respect for their people, the ones who are just and fair. Of course not every member may be entirely comfortable with the Kagetsu ninjas' methods, but still...
Additionally; perhaps members of the clan have some secret bonds with the family. The other ninja clan, the Gengetsu (more ninja than kunoichi), seek power, wealth and prowess, but their methods are indiscriminate. They will do whatever their employer orders with the right price or promise. This does not necessarily mean they are all bloodthirsty and evil of course, just without morals (but not in the good way as the Kagetsu Nin are, hehe).
The world is also full of demons, oni, spirits, etc etc, which cause trouble for the kingdoms, and for the good people of the land. Lords can either seek to gain benefit from them, or punish them, depending on where their honor lies.
