Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!
Sometimes it is amazing the effect that colouring can have, I didn't notice the war wounds in the original version, and it is a more managable picture size so it can be read without having to side-scroll.
The spanking actually seems to be in the minds of the students, I'm not sure if it is something they fear might happen or know will happen. (Logan = Wolverine?)
Lol, thank you zac. The spanking is bothwhat they think and know will happen. The boy is thinking he'll get spanking, and the girl knows she will. The war wonds weren't on the original because I was an idiot and forget to put them on. Needless to say not only did Kira start the fight, she ended it.
Very cute, it looks like a lot of effort...I know how much work comics are! I particularly like the speed of the mood swing, between anger (panels 1 & 2) and fear (panel 3).
Just one question though...I thought your girl character (Kira with the purple ears) was mute? Am I hopelessly behind?
Oops, I just re-read the last panel. She's thinking "phui." I thought she was telling her adversary "Fuck You!" That's a little harsh for that character I guess!
Actuallly, she is thinking Fuck you. I know it sems off for her chacter but she does live around a lot of adults, namely Gambit and Logan. I've never imagined them very.... mannered in language, and being a mutant she's heard the word lots of times. She doesn't understand it though, other then it's an insult, and Matt gives her grief nearly everyday so that's why she's using it.
I did the same thing with the middle finger when I was a kid. It wasn't until the thrid grade someone explained it to me. Otherwise I had no idea why people got affended by it.
Now, anybody who really knows me, will know that I dislike OCs paired up with existing characters in fandom, BUT - this is very well done, despite that! I mean... look at that bishounen Logan! Where's all the chest hair, unshaven jaw and cigar? XD Smoking ban in public places, I guess! I love the little Cheshire Cat tone and colour that you've implemented... and the choice of uniform is very adorable, and anime-esque.
